Some of the Palestinian Arab Terrorists Who Could Be Released Under Hostage Deal

Yesterday, the Israeli cabinet approved an agreement to secure the release by Hamas of roughly 50 Israeli hostages (women and children) in exchange for releasing 150 Palestinian male terrorists 18 and under, as well as female terrorists.

We also released a list of 300 palestinian Arab terrorists from whom the initial 150 will be selected, and the remainder of whom could be freed if further Israeli hostages are let go.

Outrage after Chowtown turns down federal shelter offer

The federal government was prepared to offer the City of Toronto two locations as temporary shelters, and operational funding for a third location but the city declined the offer late last week, Global News has learned.

At its November meeting, City Council passed a motion requesting Ottawa “take urgent action to address the refugee crisis including funding and operationalizing emergency accommodation at federal sites, including federal armouries, and funding and operationalizing a regional refugee reception centre.” At that same meeting, all 25 councillors and Mayor Olivia Chow signed a letter addressed to the Ministers of National Defence and Emergency Preparedness, reiterating the requests and urgency.

One of Europe’s leading globalists will leave office and his hoped-for replacement, a Green-Left veteran Eurocrat has been soundly defeated in the Dutch elections, triggering an outpouring of grief as veteran anti-Islamification campaigner Geert Wilders soars into first place.

Gosh, I shot this in 2011 here in Toronto, it’s in 3 parts as I did not have Youtubes upload permission for longer vids at that time.

Dublin: ‘knifeman attacks group of young children’

Three children ‘fell to the ground’ one after the other as five people were wounded when a knifeman launched an attack in Dublin today, witnesses have said.

A woman and a man were also among the injured, police said. One of the children, a girl, and the woman suffered ‘serious’ injuries. All five have been taken to hospital.

Passersby overpowered the assailant outside a school and were able to disarm him, witnesses have said. A man has been taken to hospital following the incident, with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar saying a suspect had been detained.

Note that the Perp’s ID is not confirmed at this time. Reports are emerging that he may be a “migrant.”

German police raid suspected Hamas and Samidoun properties

The German Interior Ministry on Thursday said police had conducted raids on properties in four federal states connected to suspected Hamas and Samidoun members.

Germany, along with the US, the EU and others, has designated Hamas a terrorist organization. Samidoun is an international pro-Palestinian network. Berlin had banned the activities of both organizations in early November.

“We continue our consistent action against radical Islamists,” German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said in a statement.

The Trudeau government has a cure for your housing depression

War Housing Ajax

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland’s fall economic statement acknowledges that the biggest worry keeping Canadians up at night – and, ahem, the biggest obstacle to Liberal re-election – is housing.

Introducing the mini budget, she said that Canada was always “a place where if you worked hard … there would be a home that you could afford. For generations, that promise was kept.”

But “for a generation that ranges from new high school graduates to couples in their thirties making six-figure salaries, it is a promise that is under threat.”

Trudeau launches assault on property rights to answer housing shortage

In Tuesday’s fiscal update, the Trudeau government found itself trying to bury the lede in a bad news story of bigger deficits, higher debt payments and a weakened economy.

Following a slew of opinion polls that show the Liberals trailing the opposition Conservatives by a widening margin, the update also exuded a palpable sense of urgency as the government scrambles to address a critical issue on which they were caught completely off guard: housing.

Well said …

But we all knew Multiculturalism was about identity politics and pandering to ethnic strongmen who could deliver votes.

Why isn’t similar content to be found in English media?

Beyond the Bochra Manaï affair – NB – Google translate

When Bochra Manaï was appointed commissioner for the fight against racism and systemic discrimination at the City of Montreal, Valérie Plante assured Montrealers that she had been selected following “a very rigorous process” which was “guarantee of quality of the person who had been chosen” and that the latter knew that she was now serving an “institution” and understood well “her [new] role”.

Many Montrealers were indeed worried about the fact that the main person concerned had made herself known above all as a spokesperson for the National Council of Canadian Muslims and that as such, she had publicly criticized Bill 21 on the secularism of the State and Quebec as a whole, which has become, according to her, “a reference for supremacists and extremists around the world”. Could we really think that someone who had made such provocative and unobjective remarks a few weeks earlier (she had gone so far as to associate Bill 21 with the attacks in Quebec and Christchurch, New Zealand) was going to change instantly, by the magic of an appointment, as an impartial commissioner?

The crux of the problem is there. We recruit political activists to make them civil servants who are supposed to be objective and impartial and we are then surprised that they have remained above all… activists.

Toronto Star Says Media Not Calling Poilievre Hitler Enough

Could be twins, at least on spiritual plain

Media fails Canadians by giving a free pass to Pierre Poilievre

If recent opinion polls are right, Pierre Poilievre will be Canada’s next prime minister, easily defeating Justin Trudeau and the Liberals in an election that could come less than a year from now.

Those same polls also indicate Poilievre and his Conservatives will likely form a majority government, which would see him in office for four years with the power to alter Canada in dramatic ways.

But what do you really know about what Poilievre would do as prime minister beyond killing the federal carbon tax? Do you know anything about how he would fix the housing crisis or tackle inflation, health care, interest rates, the environment, regional alienation?

‘Jihad’ chants can be prosecuted as encouraging terrorism

Chants of jihad at pro-Palestine marches can be prosecuted as encouraging terrorism, the Government’s adviser on counter terror legislation has said.

In a report published on Wednesday, Jonathan Hall KC, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, said he did not believe there was any need to toughen anti-terror laws in the wake of the national pro-Palestine protests.

He said current legislation gave police sufficient powers to take action against “encouraging terrorism” such as calls to jihad and any changes would have unintended consequences that could damage freedom of speech.

Surge of Drug Smugglers and Illegal Immigrants Cross the US-Canada Border

WASHINGTON—Republican legislators announced on Feb. 28 at the House Triangle a new caucus to raise awareness about the spike of illegal immigrants and drug smugglers coming across the U.S.-Canada border.

Northern border apprehensions have surged by 1,498 percent since President Joe Biden took office, the lawmakers said. Except for marijuana, drug smuggling along the border between the United States and Canada has increased by 596 percent since FY 2021. The number of CBP agents, instead, has remained the same since FY 2009.
