Hackers are taking over planes’ GPS — experts are lost on how to fix it

It’s one of the most terrifying events imaginable.

There have been over 50 recent reports of frightening cyberattacks that have altered planes’ in-flight GPS, leading to what experts described as “critical navigation failures” onboard the aircraft.

More frightening still, industry leaders thought that this type of hacking was not possible and are at a loss over how to fix the now glaring security failure. Since late August, they have been observed throughout the Middle East, particularly over Israel, neighboring Egypt, and Iraq.

John Robson: An ideology that claims to overflow with love yet excuses genocidal rape is truly evil

The Oct. 7 genocidal Hamas/Islamic Jihad attack on Israel had the silver lining of producing moral clarity. Which might seem poor compensation but when things are bad and getting worse fast, it’s vital to see them as they are. Including the perplexing fact that so many western feminists went off the deep end, or revealed themselves as having long since done so, to the point of denying that the jihadis committed savage acts of rape and butchery not merely from general depravity but as a preplanned weapon of terrorist genocide.

Why don’t we re-equip the CAF with Super Pigs?

Canada’s ‘super pigs’ threatening to invade northern U.S. states

An exploding population of hard-to-eradicate “super pigs” in Canada is threatening to spill south of the border, and northern states like Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana are taking steps to stop the invasion.

In Canada, the wild pigs roaming Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba pose a new threat. They are often crossbreeds that combine the survival skills of wild Eurasian boar with the size and high fertility of domestic swine to create a “super pig” that’s spreading out of control.

Media Matters Picked On the Wrong Guy

We have long known that Media Matters for America is a sleazy outfit that exists in large part not to play in the marketplace of ideas but for the goal of driving conservatives out of that marketplace. That’s been its modus operandi in the past, in agitating for advertiser boycotts of figures such as Rush Limbaugh and Tucker Carlson, whom Media Matters wants off the airwaves. Now, they’ve come after Elon Musk over the content-moderation policies of X (formerly Twitter). They appear to have picked on the wrong guy.

Israel war ‘tearing Hollywood apart’

A rising star has lost a coveted film role, Susan Sarandon has been dropped by her talent agency and Tom Cruise is said to have stepped in to protect his agent as Hollywood faces being torn apart by war in the Middle East.

The American entertainment industry is famous for its political uniformity and on the vast majority of issues A-listers, executives and below-the-line workers speak with one voice.

The London I grew up in is slipping away

Now Bethnal Green schoolkids are chanting anti-Semitic slogans – and no one seems to care.

The London I love, cherish and grew up in feels like it is about to disappear.

On Thursday last week, 400 children skipped school to march through Bethnal Green to protest against Israel. The marchers demanded a ‘ceasefire’, but made no reference whatsoever to the act that started Israel’s assault on Gaza – Hamas’s murder of Israeli civilians and taking of hostages on 7 October.

Activist darling of the leftist media arrested for allegedly trying to ‘firebomb’ an Israeli company in New Jersey

Calla Mairead Walsh had a meteoric rise in the realm of “progressive” politics as a young teenager, which included recognition in The New York Times and by NPR—she also self-identifies as a “communist” and, wouldn’t you know it, she was just arrested for allegedly trying to “firebomb” an Israeli business establishment in New Jersey…

The Democratic oligarchs funding pro-Hamas nonprofits

Biden’s pro-Israel stance is more rhetoric than reality

Last Wednesday, several dozen pro-Palestinian activists, their faces obscured by keffiyehs and Covid masks, attempted to block the entrance to the Democratic National Committee Headquarters in Washington, DC. Reports of a riot may have been hyperbole, but footage showed a chaotic demonstration reminiscent of the racial justice protests of 2020. The organisers later accused the police of attacking the “non-violent” protestors; Capitol Police claimed that six of its officers were assaulted.

Why the Media Despise Javier Milei

So, Javier Milei is extremely scary.

That’s what the legacy media have decided: The newly elected libertarian conservative leader of Argentina is absolutely frightening. Axios calls him a “far-right libertarian who’s been compared to (former President Donald) Trump.” The New York Times writes, “Argentina Braces Itself for Its New ‘Anarcho-Capitalist’ President,” and called the election Argentina’s “Donald Trump moment.” “Who,” asks The Washington Post, “is Javier Milei, Argentina’s far-right president elect?”

Crépol France: What is called a mere “brawl” is in reality an attack with racist motives.

A tragedy occurred a few days ago in the small town of Crépol, in the Drôme region of southern France. During a village ball, some individuals appeared, spreading panic and terror and causing the death of Thomas, a boy of 16. Today, journalists and politicians are engaged in a veritable battle of semantics. A mere news item or a major event? Ordinary violence or savagery? A brawl or an assault? Every word used to describe this episode has far-reaching consequences. Once again, the Left shines in its denial of reality concerning both the origin of the attackers and the nature of the victims.
