Questions, Doubts, Lack of Accountability Undermine Coutts Fundraising

“I, Donald Best, am the sole author of this Investigation Report concerning Fundraising for the accused men commonly known as the ‘Coutts Four’: Anthony Olienick, Chris Carbert, Chris Lysak, and Jerry Morin.

… This report is the result of requests from almost a hundred people (witnesses) who contacted me starting in July, 2023 and expressed concern with the fundraising activities of what I call ‘The Margaret MacKay Group’ or for brevity ‘The MacKay Group’. Some friends and family members of the four accused also contacted me.”

Taxpayer-subsidized Stellantis battery plant potentially importing international workers

A handful of temporary workers from South Korea have arrived in Windsor to staff up a new Stellantis electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant, according to officials with the Ontario government, raising concerns that massive taxpayer subsidies could be used to employ international auto workers over Canadians.

… On Thursday, Windsor Police posted photos of a meeting with the South Korean Ambassador Lim Woong Son on X (formerly Twitter) to discuss the “South Korean workforce coming to our community.”

“With the new LGEnergy Solutions battery plant being built, we expect approximately 1,600 South Koreans traveling to work and live in our community in 2024,” the force said on social media.

Bred in the bone …

Muslims are raised on supremacist hate. Not just for Jews. For all of us.

Now it runs rampant in our streets.

Our politicians brought this to our shores.

They should be stripped of citizenship and deported along with the Militants.

Jagmeet Singh blasts Trudeau, Poilievre at B.C. convention

VICTORIA – Federal New Democrat Leader Jagmeet Singh took political swings at both Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre today at a convention for British Columbia Premier David Eby’s governing NDP.

Singh, whose New Democrats are in a confidence and supply agreement with the federal Liberal minority government, says Trudeau is an out of touch leader who only acts when facing political troubles.

He says Poilievre, meanwhile, only pretends to care and doesn’t know about the struggles and lives of regular people.

‘Nothing prepares you for this, but we fought like crazy’ — the female Israeli troops on the front line against Hamas

Since she was a child, Staff Sergeant Shaked had wanted to be a frontline soldier in the Israel Defence Forces. “It’s just something that spoke to me,” she said. “I wanted to serve in the army with a weapon.”

In most countries, little girls rarely dream of becoming combat soldiers. In Israel, where military service is compulsory for men and women and the armed services are part of the fabric of daily life, many do. At least for now.

Have the Liberals Sunk Past a Point of No Return?

The latest numbers from Abacus Data confirmed (and reinforced) several jarring trends going against Justin Trudeau and the Liberals of late. While this is something we at 338 HQ seem to have written countless times since fall began, somehow the numbers have kept getting worse for the Liberals.

Which begs the question: Are the federal Liberals sinking towards a point of no return? (Or are they already past it?)

Palestinian Authority claims Israel, not Hamas, committed Re’im massacre

The Palestinian Authority’s Finance Ministry put out a statement on Sunday, denying terror group Hamas was responsible for at least 350 partygoers slain at the Re’im music festival massacre.

The statement says that “preliminary Israeli police investigations” showed that Israeli claims in the media were false, followed up by saying that this was then used by “the occupation to justify its aggression against Gaza.”

Facing need to cut some spending, defence minister says more must be spent on ‘right things’

With the Canadian military already staring down millions of dollars in cuts, Defence Minister Bill Blair says Canada still needs to spend more on key areas to boost military readiness and capacity.

In an interview on Rosemary Barton Live airing Sunday, Blair said the federal government would focus any budget cuts away from areas like ammunition and equipment, weapons platforms and training.

“We need to spend more on the right things,” Blair told CBC chief political correspondent Rosemary Barton.

I bet the CAF will still pay to cut off your dick.

Douglas Todd: The movement opposing NIMBYism is powerful, but morally baffling

Sean Fraser – almost certainly lying.

Opinion: Opponents of NIMBYs talk a lot about “legalizing housing” and “inclusive” zoning. But how progressive are self-proclaimed YIMBYs?

Canada’s new minister of housing, Sean Fraser, likes to use the jargon of the urban-growth movement known as YIMBY (yes in my backyard).

In Kelowna, he recently proclaimed his commitment to “legalizing housing.” Highlighting supposedly liberal-left values, the former minister of immigration also talks about fighting for “inclusive” zoning and “equitable” housing.

Canadians can thank their Government for literally importing hate

And a big thank you to everyone who labeled us racists for speaking out about the poison of multiculturalism and diversity.

While I suspect many of you are proudly marching for Hamas more than a few are wondering “What the hell happened I sang Kumbaya! I bought a Coexist sticker for my car!”

Israel has quickly reverted to its bad old policies

“Everything changed” in Israel on Oct. 7. Except it did not. Despite much talk of victory by the prime minister and survey research showing the public endorses a tough new approach, Israeli officialdom and its security establishment show signs of reverting to their old failed policies, even before the bodies have all been buried.

Those failed policies mean primarily one thing: wrongly assuming that enrichment – more work permits in Israel, a larger fishing zone, outside funding – gives Palestinian Arabs something to lose, taming them and making them less inclined to aggress.

France: A Tale of Two Demos

A week after Paris witnessed a march in support of the “Palestinian cause” it hosted another march on November 12, this time against anti-Semitism.

Ostensibly provoked by the ongoing war in Gaza the two marches may persuade the French to take a closer look at the messages they convey and their impact on French politics.

Despite denials by its organizers, the leftist and extreme left parties, the first march, which took part on the right bank of the River Seine, was clearly anti-Israel, at times with anti-Semitic undertones.

SHOCKING: Western media let Hamas author their ‘news’ stories

In past conflicts, one side has successfully managed to push through propaganda that changes how civilians on the other side view military action. However, we have never before seen a situation in which the world’s media simply hand over to one of the combatants the entire responsibility for reporting on the war. That’s what’s happening across the West, though, including in America, as rising antisemitism is fueled by “news” reports direct from Hamas central.
