Harry and Meghan would love Christmas in UK but haven’t been invited

As phone calls go, there was no shortage of hype. On Tuesday, as the King marked his 75th birthday with an engagement highlighting a food waste project, the headlines were instead dominated with news that Prince Harry planned to call his father later that day from California.

The Sussexes may have been absent from Charles’s birthday party at Clarence House for his extended family and close friends that night, but they were still keen to be part of the day’s narrative.

When Neutrality is Immoral: Israel, Hamas, and the Problem of Moral Equivalence

Palestinian culture

October 7, 2023: Another day that will live in infamy: Israel’s Pearl Harbor. Israel’s 9/11. The quiet Shabbat morning of Simchat Torah, concluding the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles, suddenly turned into a bloodbath. Under the cover of heavy rocket fire, thousands of Hamas terrorists attacked Israel’s southern communities and left behind them a path of carnage and devastation, ambushing army bases and motorists, murdering some 364 people at a music festival, slaughtering families in their beds, raping women, executing children and Holocaust survivors, burning civilians alive, and kidnapping 244 people in Israel to Gaza. With at least 1,200 people murdered, it was the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. The barbarity of the Hamas attack was so unprecedented that even the world was brutally — if briefly — jolted out of its usual apathy and left reeling in horror.

David Krayden: It’s Time to Stop Canada’s Euthanasia Program Dead in its Tracks

It goes by the almost innocuous name of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID): it’s MAID in Canada.

The federal government does not want to call MAID a euthanasia program because of the negative connotation that word has to murderous, totalitarian regimes like Nazi Germany. It may be a voluntary euthanasia program, unlike the coercive program unleashed by the Nazis on their oppressed society, but “euthanasia” should still induce a chill in our spines and nausea in our stomachs.

The ‘Occupation’ Lie, an excuse for massacring Jews

On October 7, 2023, we witnessed the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust. We got a glimpse of what a Muslim ‘return’ looks like and what it means for our children. These horrific attacks will continue to e touted as a result of the “Occupation Lie”, although the real reason is simple Jew-hatred.

Now is the time for Israel to declare Yom San Remo and finally debunk the “Occupation” Lie.

The BBC has been accused of “rank hypocrisy” after a reporter racked up an estimated 20,000 air miles to ask why “despite all the green promises, we’re using more fossil fuels than ever before”.

‘A real threat to democracy’: Iranian-American activist urges Trudeau to act

Don’t believe a thing this lying punk says.

An Iranian-American activist is accusing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of “empty words” and “cliché” over the federal government’s handling of alleged Iranian agents operating on Canadian soil.

Masih Alinejad, a Brooklyn-based journalist and women’s rights activist, told The West Block host Mercedes Stephenson that the Canadian government must do more to address threats against Iranian Canadians from the Islamic republic’s agents.

J.D. Tuccille: Free speech lets us know who the antisemites are

One of the great benefits of a strong culture of free speech is that you get to see who people are. Are your neighbors principled? Are they hateful? Are they just plain nuts and worth avoiding? When my son saw who attended dueling protests on his college campus in recent weeks, he didn’t have to guess who everybody was; they put it all on display and he’s planning his interactions accordingly.

Ohio man faces charges of lying about anti-Palestinian attack in North Ridgeville, police say

Mr Fafo’s Cousin

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Authorities say a North Olmsted man was arrested Tuesday and accused of lying about being the victim of a hate crime involving anti-Palestinian slurs.

The Cleveland chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations sent a press release Oct. 23 calling for an investigation into the man’s claims, which involved a person striking him.

Instead, police say, his claims were false, and the injuries he suffered came from a fight with his brother.

Western officials want the Palestinian Authority to lead postwar Gaza. Is it up to the task?

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas

Palestinian human rights activist Issa Amro, a well-known and outspoken critic of Israel, says he has been arrested, evicted and assaulted by Israeli soldiers.

But he also has harsh words for Palestinian officials — specifically, the Palestinian Authority (PA), the governing body in the West Bank.

“The main problem of the Palestinian Authority is corruption,” Amro, who has also been arrested by the PA, said in a recent interview. “A lot of corruption. And no elections, and no democracy — with human rights violations.”

Great choice.
