Canada ‘Sacrificed on Altar of Anti-Development’ With Only 1.5 Percent of Global Emissions: Alberta Energy Minister

Alberta’s energy minister says Canada is being “sacrificed on the altar of anti-development” as the federal government pushes clean energy regulations despite the country’s carbon emissions only representing 1.5 percent of total global emissions.

The comments were in response to federal regulations that would see Canada achieve a net-zero electricity grid by 2035. The plan is to focus on investing in energy sources like wind and solar, smart grid, and energy storage systems.

Muslim Dems ‘Horrified‘ by Plan to Halt Palestinian Immigration to U.S.

Muslim Democrats Andre Carson, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar say they are “horrified” by GOP plans that would halt Palestinian legal immigration to the United States.

This week, Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT) and other House Republicans introduced legislation to ban the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from providing green cards, visas, refugee status, and parole to Palestinians.

The Israel Defence Forces is pushing its way into Gaza, in a courageous search for hostages. Ukrainians are fighting to dislodge the dug-in Russian forces from their country. Two U.S. aircraft carriers are patrolling the eastern Mediterranean to discourage Hezbollah from escalating the Israel-Hamas War. Iran’s proxies are stepping up their attacks on Israel and the United States, while China is eyeing Taiwan.

Antisemitism a growing concern after spike in hate-related incidents

Jewish and Muslim communities in Canada’s biggest cities are growing fearful, as reports of hate-related incidents that appear to be connected to the religious and cultural tensions aggravated by Israel’s war against Hamas become more commonplace.

In Montreal, after a week marred by several suspected hate crimes targeting Jewish institutions, including gunshots fired on empty Jewish schools and Molotov cocktails ignited at a synagogue, the city’s police department said it has ramped up preventative operations.

No one seems to want to discuss how we got here.

France: Far-right Le Pen to join march against antisemitism

Marine Le Pen, the leader of the far-right National Rally (RN) party in France, formerly known as the Front National, told French radio station RTL on Wednesday morning that she would “of course” participate in Sunday’s demonstration against antisemitism in Paris. On X, formerly Twitter, she wrote: “Our compatriots of the Jewish faith have long been confronted with an ideology that I have always fought: Islamist ideology.” She said that she would be there, alongside RN party president Jordan Bardella and other elected officials of the party.

However, President of the French National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet, who along with the president of the French Senate called for the march — and whose Jewish grandparents settled in France after fleeing Germany and Poland — said Wednesday on France’s TF1 television that no political parties had been invited to participate and that she would not march “next to” Le Pen.

Jews Get Kicked Out of the Progressive Club

After a while, it became a parody worthy of classic comedy skits: the Biden administration’s reflexive need to launch into a condemnation of “Islamophobia” every time the discomfiting topic of antisemitism came up — which, you may have noticed, it does quite a bit these days.

Progressives hate antisemitism. Not, unfortunately, the concept . . . the word. It holds a mirror up to their internal contradictions.

Nah, plenty of lefty Jews to go round.

WaPo plays the antisemite card on Elon Musk

In “Long before Musk, Henry Ford battled with Jewish Groups“ (11/8/23), The Washington Post stoops to an absurd comparison between Henry Ford and Elon Musk. Henry Ford was known for his rabidly antisemitic hate speech, whereas Elon Musk merely hosts a virtual town square for speech by others. Ford was a source of inspiration to Adolf Hitler, whereas Elon Musk has never backed a hate group.

Identity politics and the retreat from reason

One of the weirdest things about identitarian activists is that they hate being asked where they’re from but they love telling you where they’re from. Politely inquire about their ethnic or cultural origins and they’ll damn you as a racist. ‘How dare you, I’m as British as you!’, they’ll yell, either to your face or in a column in the Guardian in which they’ll document at great, yawn-inducing length the horror of having some dim pleb ask about their family origins.

New Jersey elementary school janitor Giovanni Impellizzeri who ‘urinated in food, put feces in taco meat and rubbed his genitals on cooking utensils’ claimed he was a ‘Satanist’ and WANTED to make kids sick, prosecutor says

A janitor at a New Jersey elementary school went online to brag about how he had contaminated food being served to children with bleach, bodily fluids, and even his own feces in order to get them sick, it is alleged.

Giovanni Impellizzeri, 25, claimed online to be a Satanist ‘doing the devil’s work’, has been charged with child endangerment, aggravated assault and tampering with the food at Elizabeth F. Moore School in the Upper Deerfield School District.

Messages Impellizzeri allegedly posted to the encrypted phone app Telegram, were displayed in Cumberland County Superior Court as part of bail hearing that saw Judge Cristen D’Arrigo remand him in custody rather than being released.

Opinion: On Remembrance Day, has Canada forgotten?

Canadians were proud after the Second World War, not only for what we had accomplished with our allies but with the notable distinctions earned by Canadian units, especially in Normandy. Canadians at home contributed financial support toward the war and cheered for our military. Industries manufactured weapons and prepared food for troops abroad, and Canadians truly became united across our vast territory.

The Government invites a million settlers a year who share little by way of culture and values with Canada. Don’t be surprised our “quaint traditions” are being swept under the rug.

Union warns of ‘insane’ drug problem at B.C. prison

A union leader says a prison in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley is experiencing an “insane” drug problem, with drones making multiple deliveries to prisoners each day.

John Randle, regional president of the Union of Canadian Correctional Officers, says staff at the Mountain Institution in Agassiz are exhausted from handling the “non-stop” drone drops and overdoses among inmates.

The union says in a statement that officers seized almost 200 grams of crystal meth and other drugs at the prison on Wednesday.
