Tasha Kheiriddin: We said we’d never forget the Holocaust, but gen Z has nothing to remember

Last week, the Ontario government announced it is expanding Holocaust education in the province’s schools to combat antisemitism. It’s a good idea, but more must be done to fight the rising tide of hate. Night after night this week, Canadians have been treated to firebombed synagogues, anti-Jewish violence on university campuses and anti-Jewish hate speech in our streets. These crimes reveal a disturbing, but inevitable, reality: no matter how much we say “never again,” if you don’t know something to begin with, you are doomed not to remember it.

I doubt Holocaust education is well received by certain of our religious “minorities.”

Defence chief ‘very concerned’ about readiness against growing threats

Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Wayne Eyre says Canada “has much work to do” to be able to face a declining security situation around the world.

Eyre told Global News’ Mercedes Stephenson at the national Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa Saturday that he is “very concerned” about Canada’s readiness, after spending much of the past year warning that the world is facing unprecedented security threats amid the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, Israel and the Gaza Strip, and rising tensions with India and China.

The real Covid jab scandal is finally emerging

I am not an anti-vaxxer but… On 29 April 2021, Lisa Shaw, a clever, sensible, creative, mischievous, award-winning presenter at BBC Radio Newcastle, had her first Covid vaccination. Like millions of us, Lisa was delighted and relieved to get her jab. Not only did the 44-year-old mother of one feel she was doing her bit to keep her community safe (Lisa had been astonished a few weeks earlier when a girlfriend had said she wasn’t getting jabbed), she was excited “to give her mam a hug”.

FBI, DOJ Refuse To Call Covenant School Shooting An Anti-White Hate Crime Even After Racist Manifesto Is Leaked

The Department of Justice and FBI pride themselves on being the top federal agencies to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators of hate crimes. Their zeal for tracking down racists and targeting Americans based on fabricated white supremacy allegations apparently stops, however, when it comes to classifying the type of anti-white crimes that occurred at Covenant School earlier this year.

On March 27, 2023, Audrey Hale, a woman masquerading as a man, shot and killed three children and three staff at a Christian grade school before local police took her out.

Obama: Avatar of the New Anti-Semitism

Obama seems at ease with Farrakhan. I’m certain they share much in common.

He helped make age-old hatred cool and powerful once again.

Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me Lucifer
’Cause I’m in need of some restraint.

Thus wrote Mick Jagger in “Sympathy for the Devil,” which came out in late 1968. Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. had been murdered that year; American cities were convulsed with rioting. LBJ had stepped aside. The Democrat convention in Chicago was taken over by the Yippies and Mayor Daly’s cops. It wasn’t Sgt. Pepper time anymore, said Jagger. The dissolution of all order is not a groovy trip at all. It’s satanic.

It Is Time Biden Publicly Acknowledged This Is Iran’s Mullahs’ War Against Israel and the United States

The Biden administration continues to turn a blind eye to Iran’s involvement in the war against Israel, the Jews and in fact all “infidels” — not least of which is “the Great Satan,” the United States.

In recent weeks, Iranian proxies have attacked not only Israel and the Jews, but also at least 41 strikes against US forces in Syria and Iraq, during which 46 US servicemen were wounded and one was killed by a drone; and with more than 83 attacks on US troops since Biden became president.

Maher: Media ‘Couldn‘t Be More Pro-Hamas than It Is Now‘

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher discussed a letter signed by journalists on media coverage of the Israel-Hamas war and stated that media coverage of the Israel-Hamas war “couldn’t be more pro-Hamas than it is now.”

New York Times columnist Pamela Paul said that no one at the Times signed the letter, and they’re not allowed to.

Maher responded, “But I bet you there [are] lots of people who work there who would, who wanted to.”

Head of federal green fund targeted by whistleblowers resigns

The president and CEO of a federal foundation with a billion dollars to spend on environmental technologies has resigned after her organization was the target of a whistleblower complaint earlier this year.

In her letter of resignation as the head of Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), Leah Lawrence said her departure was prompted by growing criticism of her organization.

“Given recent media reports, House of Commons committee testimony, and the surrounding controversy, it is clear there has been a sustained and malicious campaign to undermine my leadership,” she said in a letter to her board of directors.

Howard Levitt: My ‘never-hire’ list is growing as new petition also glosses over Hamas’ atrocities

Hamas Support Rally Toronto

I have just added 700 names to our law firm’s never-hire list.

Last Saturday’s column discussed an anti-Semitic petition signed by 74 law students at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University that “denied that Israel is even a country” but stated instead, it is a brand of a “settler colony” and voiced support for “all” forms of Palestinian resistance. Closely following the Hamas terror attack, its meaning could not be clearer. I commented that these students had made themselves unemployable and that some have already had job offers rescinded. After all, what law firm would hire them?
