The Star: Criticism Of Immigration Policy is RACIST! You’re RACIST For Daring To Act In Your Own Best Interest!!

The Star suggests that any criticism of immigration policy is RACIST

“… New Housing Minister Sean Fraser embarked into that perilous territory a few weeks ago when he said Canada might need to crack down on universities attracting foreign students without the means to house them properly.

… That didn’t stop Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre from accusing Justin Trudeau’s government of whipping up resentment against immigration.

“I think Justin Trudeau would love Canadians to blame immigrants for the housing crisis that he has doubled. But immigrants are just following the rules that he put in place. So how can we blame them and not him?” Poilievre told reporters.

… Little wonder, then, that Poilievre walks quickly backward from any argument with the Liberals over immigration numbers. The current Conservative leader hasn’t minded lifting a few pages from Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada — globalist conspiracies included — but he hasn’t joined the “no mass immigration” chorus of the Bernier crowd.

Sorry Star, people don’t blame immigrants for the housing crisis they blame our corrupt political class, their crony capitalist pals and their lickspittle journalist hirelings.

A deplorables moment? Questioning mass immigration makes you part of the “Bernier Crowd” according to Delacourt who works for the corporate welfare parasite Toronto Star. After all, it’s racist to resist having your economic and physical security sacrificed for the corporate bottom line.

Womb Transplants for Men As Surgeons See No “Ethical Boundaries”

The West is apparently “liberal-minded” enough to accept biological men giving birth.

Medical experts talking publicly about allowing biological men to give birth might be racking their brains on the technical details, but they are already sold on the question of ethics. And even if they held doubts, the Equality Act would prevent surgeons from treating biological women and transgender women differently when deciding whether to conduct womb transplants.

Freeland imposes extraordinary measures to force out founding investors of Wealth One Bank with alleged ties to China

Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland has instructed three of the founding investors of Wealth One Bank of Canada to divest their shares, and has also ordered the financial institution to comply with extraordinary national-security conditions intended to firewall its operations against the trio, who have faced federal scrutiny over alleged links to the Chinese government.

The three men, Toronto insurance executive Shenglin Xian, Vancouver property developer Morris Chen and Toronto grocery tycoon Yuangsheng Ou Yang, were told in April to sell their shares in the bank. Wealth One has also been ordered to sever all ties with the three, and to put in place stringent security measures to guard against money laundering and unauthorized sharing of sensitive information.

AOC urges US to apologize for meddling in Latin America: ‘We’re here to reset relationships’

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a prominent member of Congress and leading voice of the American left, has called on the US government to issue an apology to Latin American countries for decades of meddling in their affairs and causing instability in the region.

The Democratic congresswoman from New York was speaking after a visit to Chile in advance of the 50th anniversary of the coup against Salvador Allende, a democratically elected socialist president actively opposed by Washington.

David Krayden: LGBTQ Travel Advisory for US a Sick Joke When ‘Pride’ Fests Display Lewdness in Front of Kids

The federal government issued a, shall we say, unusual new travel advisory this week. It warned against members of “‘2SLGBTQI+” from going to the United States because some states are not promoting the gay and trans agenda with sufficient enthusiasm.

On Aug. 28, Global Affairs Canada amended its travel advisories website for Canadian travellers visiting the United States, saying, “Some states have enacted laws and policies that may affect 2SLGBTQI+ persons. Check relevant state and local laws.”

Veganism is as bad for the planet as meat-eating

Someone at PETA thought this was a good idea. Vegan diets degrade the brain.

Environmental campaigners are keen to tell us the greenhouse gases emitted by mass animal farming play a significant role in warming the globe. As Greenpeace puts it, “the climate impact of meat is enormous — roughly equivalent to all the driving and flying of every car, truck and plane in the world.”

NATO’s laggards should take notice of a world grown more treacherous

… The laggards include several of NATO’s, and the world’s, wealthiest nations — among them Canada, Italy and Spain. The economic output of those three countries alone is nearly triple that of Russia. Yet each remains far from meeting NATO’s target of spending 2 percent of gross domestic product annually on defense — a goal all member countries agreed nearly a decade ago to reach by next year. What’s more, the alliance now regards that spending level as a minimum to address the mounting perils it faces.

‘Burning Man = Total Disaster’: 73,000 Attendees “Hunker Down” As Desert Party Transforms Into Muddy Hellhole

Colby Cosh: UBC covers for bad science in homeless cash transfer study

You ever hear of a guy named Daryl Bem? Bem is a social psychologist from Cornell University, now retired at age 85. In the ‘90s, after a long conventional career as an experimenter, he took up the cause of establishing evidence for human extrasensory precognition, and did some studies that seemed to confirm it exists. This set off a war in psychology as critics descended on Bem to nitpick the flaws in his studies and citations of psychic phenomena.

Wow even crappier than first thought.

The lies driving Sadiq Khan’s ULEZ

The London mayor is torturing ‘the science’ to ram through his punishing car tax.

London mayor Sadiq Khan’s planned expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) to outer London has been met with an incredible amount of resistance. The objections to the £12.50 per day car tax are legion. It punishes the poorest who can’t afford a new low-emission car or van. It hurts the disabled and the elderly who have difficulty using public transport. And all of this pain is amplified in outer London, where train, bus and Tube links are sorely lacking.

Why the US will decide Ukraine’s fate

As Ukraine marked its 32nd national holiday since independence, news from the front lines and the wider world appeared better than perhaps in any week since the recapture of Kherson in November.

In Zaporizhzhia, the hard-fought front lines moved a few miles forward. In Crimea, a missile strike took out a Russian S-400 anti-aircraft complex and a team of Ukrainian commandos briefly raised their yellow-and-blue flag on the peninsula for the first time since Russia’s 2014 annexation. A Russian Mi-8 helicopter pilot defected to Ukraine with a load of jet engine parts. Near-nightly waves of drone strikes deep inside Russia blew up two Tu-22M long-range bombers, four Il-78 transport aircraft and repeatedly struck central Moscow.
