Trudeau government’s plan to end fossil fuel subsidies does not actually end a single one

In 2009, Ottawa made its first commitment to end “inefficient” fossil fuel subsidies that “encourage wasteful consumption, distort markets, impede investment in clean energy sources, and undermine efforts to deal with climate change.” Last year, this was adopted as a mandate of the Trudeau government.

However, instead of delivering on this pledge when the federal government released its framework in July, the new policy consists only of guidelines to evaluate subsidies without announcing the elimination of any of them.

New Disney Board Eliminates Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Programs

Mickey no longer has to pretend he’s transgender to keep his job.

In February, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation creating the new board and abolishing its predecessor, which was tightly linked with the primary business it regulated— Disney World.

The act was part of Mr. DeSantis’s war with Disney after its leaders came out against his Parental Rights in Education bill last year, one dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by detractors.

Since the district’s 1967 creation, Disney had enjoyed a unique self-governing status, putting it outside Florida county or city governments. It was governed by the Reedy Creek Improvement District, and it appointed the members to it. It enjoyed various tax exemptions.

Useful Idiots In The West Helped The CCP Cover Up The Worst Scientific Scandal Of Our Time

Most people are aware by now that the Chinese Communist Party’s cover-up of Covid-19 pandemic-related information, especially between late 2019 and early 2020, delayed governments worldwide from taking appropriate interventions that would have prevented many deaths and much suffering. But a recent congressional hearing revealed that the CCP wasn’t the only one guilty. A few key public health officials and scientists in the West served as the party’s useful idiots by shutting down debates about the origin of the pandemic early on.

The China compromised Trudeau governemnt spewed the ChiCom party line.

The demands from the White House focused on posts related to the Chinese coronavirus and the efficiency of the COVID vaccines.

Why should Vikings be diverse?

I don’t always watch ‘Strongest Viking’ competitions on cable. But the other day I was channel-hopping and became mesmerised by one. Firstly because I wasn’t previously aware that such banality was possible on television. People really watch men trying to push a stone or pull a rope? This was new data to me. But I also stayed because I was struck by the sheer lack of diversity.

Washington Post Writes Entire Article About Middle Eastern Opposition to Gays Without Mentioning ‘Islam’

A free society has a combative press that vehemently argues, debates and takes on all comers. A totalitarian society has a bizarre dystopian press whose articles make no sense because they leave out crucial pieces of the puzzle. The degree to which the media is haunted by the ‘elephant in the room’ reflects the degree of political censorship that any kind of reporting now undergoes. Take this bizarre article.

Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre blasts diversity, equity and inclusion ‘garbage’

During a recent encounter with voters, the leader of Canada’s Conservative Party declared he would reject all involvement with certain liberal ideologies, describing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) as “garbage.”

That’s the equivalent of killing a baby seal for fun to Canada’s Liberal-Left. This happened on the 28th? No WalkBack?

Oh No! Tom Mulcair Is Upset!!!

Tom Mulcair: Within an hour of the announcement of the Trudeaus’ separation, social media was full of vile commentary

The separation of Justin Trudeau and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau is, first and foremost, a very difficult moment for Canada’s “First Couple” and their children. They’ve asked for and deserve the time and the space to deal with this personal situation that will have repercussions well beyond their family.

It’s also an opportunity to think about the pressures elected officials, in all orders of government, face and how we can better reconcile work and family in politics, generally.

Tom should ask himself why people hold politicians in such contempt.

A Racist Smear. A Tarnished Career. And the Suicide of Richard Bilkszto.

Kike Ojo-Thompson, a diversity trainer in Toronto, was explaining to her class of 200 or so public school administrators that Canada is a much more racist country than the United States.

“Canada is a bastion of white supremacy and colonialism,” Thompson said to a sea of nodding heads squeezed into Zoom. “The racism we experience is far worse here than there.”

It was April 26, 2021, and Thompson was leading attendees through a session on systemic inequity.

Michael Higgins: Justin Trudeau can’t escape his angry demons

“I won’t be stirring up anger,” the prime minister said this week. Considering his track record, Trudeau’s statement was as hypocritical as it was laughable.

Trudeau has in the past labelled Canadians racists and misogynists; called the Freedom Convoy a “fringe minority,” which earned a rebuke from the Emergencies Act Commissioner; and several polls have highlighted the prime minister’s divisive and angry tone.

BMJ pulls its punches over Trudeau’s war on the truckers

THE truckers lost the battle but not the war. The senseless Covid-19 regime and the authoritarian and often nasty misrule by Justin Trudeau will have lasting impact on Canadian society. Unlike other prominent pandemic performers including Mark Rutte, Boris Johnson, Nicola Sturgeon, Jacinda Ardern and Sanna Marin, Trudeau remains in post, but he is heckled whenever seen in public. His days are surely numbered.
