Teenagers tell Education Secretary they are ‘too frightened’ to say there are only two sexes

Teenagers have told the Education Secretary they are “too frightened” to tell their classmates that there are only two sexes.

Two 14-year-old girls have written an open letter to Gillian Keegan, saying they want her to know “what it’s like in a school environment where dissenting voices are stifled” and “extreme ideologies are presented as fact”, ahead of the upcoming publication of transgender guidance in schools.

Politicians Should Have Listened to Fadden’s Warnings on Beijing Instead of Reprimanding Him

We humans are odd creatures sometimes. When faced with information that is negative we tend to want to avoid it. If someone says “I have good news and I have bad news,” many of us ask to hear the former first, dreading the latter.

At the end of the day, however, it is best to listen to whatever the bad news is eventually. Chances are it’s not going to disappear anyway, so ignoring it is the equivalent of kicking the information can down the road. Accept it, decide what it means, and what you need to do about it. Unfortunately, Canadian federal and provincial governments seems to want to avoid the inevitable.

Joe Biden has been briefed on the chaotic situation in Russia with US officials describing it as “serious”.

The president was being kept informed as Wagner mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was accused by Moscow of launching an armed rebellion.

A White House National Security Council spokesman said: “We are monitoring the situation and will be consulting with allies and partners on these developments.”

We’re coming to get you! Wagner forces head to Moscow

Russia’s Wagner militia forces are headed towards Moscow on Saturday after chief Yevgney Prigozhin initiated a military coup against Putin and his regime, which has seen the group take key cities and mock the President, who called them ‘traitors’.

Putin addressed the Russian people on Saturday, warning that the military leader had ‘stabbed him in the back’, as Moscow is on lockdown as troops dig in in preparation to defend the city.

NYC College grad says viral mic drop justified because she’s ‘black woman in America’: ‘I am always in the right’

A black college graduate of a Queens community college has defended her viral mic drop — declaring that she is not the “bad guy” for grabbing a microphone from a white educator over a name snub.

“To everyone saying I should be embarrassed or I’ll never get a job … I’m a black woman in America,” a digital content creator and OnlyFans model who apparently graduated from LaGuardia Community College said on social media.

“I am always in the right … u will not gaslight me into thinking I’m the bad guy. I did it for girls that look like me. Love u,” she added defiantly.

Toronto School Doing ‘Social Experiment on Our Kids’ With All Gender-Neutral Washrooms, Says Parent

TDSB – Rotten to the core

A group of parents at Toronto’s Jean Lumb elementary school say the school board’s insistence on maintaining all gender-neutral washrooms is “anti-feminist and discriminatory.”

That description was included in the subject line of a letter several parents signed and sent to the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) on June 21. The parents are calling for a review of any policies preventing the school from designating at least one set of washrooms for boys and girls separately.

Brawls, Theft, Drugs: How Rampant Crime Turned Westfield Mall into a Symbol of San Francisco’s Decline

The air outside the Westfield San Francisco Centre mall smelled like pot when Chuck Mahone and his girlfriend took a walking tour of downtown in late May. The streets were dirty. Homeless people used drugs openly and relieved themselves under blankets.

Inside, unruly teens roamed the mall – Mahone wondered where their parents were. Retail staffers were so focused on security that they had little time for real customers.

“Ugh. Westfield should be shuttered,” Mahone wrote in a Google review. “It’s time as an energetic center of fine retail in SF is long passed. Dated, understaffed. A haven for homeless and disruptive youth.”

France is falling apart at the seams

… The 2008 crash was just the first shock of many to strike the West, each one weakening further its foundations. The overthrow of Colonel Gaddafi in 2011 precipitated the first great migrant crisis, and Angela Merkel provoked the second four years later by opening Europe’s borders to more than a million migrants; Islamic terrorism has left hundreds dead; Covid lockdowns caused irreparable economic, mental and social damage; environmental obsessiveness is reawakening class divisions; progressive radicalism is stoking identitarian tensions and the war in Ukraine has sent energy prices and inflation soaring.

France is at the epicentre of these shockwaves, and a growing number of prominent thinkers and commentators are warning that culturally and economically the country is in grave danger. In a recent interview the economist Agnes Verdier Molinié cautioned that ‘France is on the verge of bankruptcy’ and that the annual cost of its debt will hit €70 billion in 2024. All the while the Republic’s core infrastructure – education, health, judiciary and transport – continue to degrade and, as Molinié said, more and more French are wondering why they are being so taxed so much for so little in return.

Biden hands record $9.2 billion loan to Ford joint venture

This is, of course, an acknowledgment that plug-in electric cars are inferior to regular cars, which run on gasoline.

The Biden administration is making a massive, unprecedented corporate welfare loan to a private company making car batteries, the Energy Department announced on Thursday.

“The U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office today announced a conditional commitment for a loan of up to $9.2 billion to BlueOval for the construction of three manufacturing plants to produce batteries for Ford Motor Company’s future Ford and Lincoln electric vehicles.”

Europe’s centre-right is the new migration mainstream

Immigration has been depoliticised in the EU

Exactly seven years ago today, time stopped: when the Brexit vote came in, heartbroken British liberals and exultant Brexiteers both preserved for their warring purposes an image of the European Union forever frozen in time on an eternal 23rd June 2016. But history moves on, and eventually even the British comment class notices. As a perceptive recent Telegraph piece noted, the political polarities attached to Britain’s relationship with the EU are almost certain to shift, as European leaders become increasingly receptive to their voters’ demands to radically limit immigration, and British liberals become more deeply enmeshed in the utopian dreams of American liberalism.
