Ireland Crushes Free Speech

Well-reasoned criticism of the transgender movement would be subject to being quashed by the government.

Ireland’s far-left government is in the midst of passing some of the most extreme legislation on so-called hate speech that the Western world has ever seen. The Criminal Justice Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences bill would prosecute what even leftist politician Paul Murphy called “thought crimes.” Should the bill become law, which seems likely, the government will possess unprecedented power to quash or silence peaceful protests and demonstrations, prosecute the makers and sharers of memes, and effectively ban opinions it doesn’t like. Even prejudice against a “protected characteristic” will become a crime, as will merely possessing material deemed hateful, like a history book or meme.

Race and Gender Narcissism in Austin

The University of Texas has created a DEI bureaucracy that promotes every fashionable left-wing delusion.

The University of Texas has created a radical DEI bureaucracy that equates “objectivity” with “white supremacy,” recommends the word “wimmin” as a replacement for “women,” and affirms “polyamory” and “polyfidelity” as positive sexual identities.

I have obtained a cache of documents through public-records requests revealing the DEI bureaucracy’s stunning conquest of Texas’s flagship state university.

Is the US Navy the new Bud Light?

America will fight its next war in heels.

A nonbinary drag queen was pegged as a digital ambassador for the Navy… on TikTok

Cockburn spotted a news story this morning that had him spitting out his breakfast cocktail of bourbon and vicodin (difficult to do these days). He read that the US Navy has appointed a nonbinary drag queen, “Harpy Daniels” as a “digital ambassador” charged with recruiting new members to the military. Cockburn’s brief time in Navy Yard means that he knows sailors have unorthodox tastes, but come on.

Beware the military-AI complex

Like it or not, arms technology will shape the future

Geoffrey Hinton has been described as the “Godfather of AI”. And so, when he warned the world about the dangers of artificial intelligence this week, the world listened.

His interview with Cade Metz for the New York Times is worth reading in full, but the key passage reveals Hinton’s surprise at the speed of recent developments

Don Lemon and the demise of the sneering media

Americans are fed up with being insulted by cable news.

It was a tale of two firings last week in the American media. Two famous anchors, with two very different profiles and styles, were unceremoniously ousted by their corporate overlords. Conservative bête noire Tucker Carlson and liberal malcontent Don Lemon were both dropped from their channels, on the very same day.

Belgium will be the first Muslim state in Europe

Europe trampled the biological and cultural laws of the birth, decline and death of a civilization, celebrating its own euthanasia.

The investigation of the monthly Causeur signed by the courageous Céline Pina makes you jump, a shiver in the back.

“The migration agreements signed with Morocco and Turkey and the extreme benevolence towards the most radical Muslim populations fuel the political clientelism of the left in Belgium”, says Causeur. “This opens up a demographic bomb that could make Belgium the first Muslim state in Europe. In Belgium, the Islamists have important relays in the local political class, but also within the Commission and the European Parliament. In May 2021, Sarah Schlitz, Belgian State Secretary for Gender Equality and member of the Greens, appointed a veiled woman Commissioner for Gender Equality”.

Trump: If Elected President, I Will End the Ukraine War in One Day

Ending the war in Ukraine is “easy,” according to Donald Trump, who has vowed to stop the fighting “within 24 hours.” The 2024 presidential hopeful spoke in his usual brazen tone on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which he has long insisted would not have taken place were he still in the office, in an exclusive interview with Britain’s GB News.

Report: Anti-Catholic Hate Crimes Have Nearly Tripled In Canada

Canada, not unlike much of the United States, was a very different place just a short time ago. Most Canadians used to believe in basic civil liberties. They could watch hockey games without being lectured about radical gender theory by teams donning pride-themed jerseys. Denouncing people for the color of their skin was seen as vicious, not virtuous.

But perhaps the most troubling of all changes to occur in recent years is the country’s open and growing hostility toward Christianity and, in particular, the Catholic faith.

Ontario NDP goes full Orwell after anti-semitic MPP they were warned about does something anti-semitic

Ontario NDP distances itself from newly elected MPP’s Twitter repost about Palestinian hunger striker

Jason Wager, a spokesman for the NDP, said Wednesday that neither the party nor Ms. Jama endorse the tweet.

“Last night, the MPP for Hamilton Centre retweeted a tweet by an American academic Noura Erakat concerning the death of Khader Adnan and later un-retweeted it. The content of the tweet does not reflect the views of Ms. Jama or the Ontario NDP,” he said.

Orwellian or what?

Something is Very Wrong With Justin Trudeau

A sentimentalist with terrrorist sympathies.

On October 3, 1980, a bomb went off just outside a synagogue on the rue Copernic in Paris. Several people were killed: a student on a motorbike, an Israeli journalist, a driver, and a caretaker. In addition, 46 people were wounded, many of them seriously. Eventually, over many years, the French authorities, with help from German intelligence as well as Israeli and French agents, tracked down the PFLP operative who left the bomb, a Lebanese sociologist named Hassan Diab. By that time, Diab was living in Canada. With the evidence it had gathered, France asked Canada to extradite Diab in 2008 so he could stand trial. More on this long, and disturbing story, can be found here: “Canada’s Trudeau considers next steps as citizen convicted for Paris synagogue blast,” AFP, April 22, 2023.

Trudeau Caught Lying … Again: CSIS report on MP being targeted by China was sent to PM’s national-security adviser

CSIS report on MP being targeted by China was sent to PM’s national-security adviser

Contrary to what Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said, an 2021 intelligence report about an MP being targeted by China was circulated beyond the Canadian Security Intelligence Service and reached the PM’s national-security adviser.

Conservative MP Michael Chong – whose family was being targeted by China – announced in the House of Commons Thursday that Jody Thomas, the national-security adviser, informed him of this in a telephone call.

The cost of mass migration

Way back in the long distant 1990s, net migration into this country used to be in the tens of thousands each year. There was no lack of discussion about that, but we were not yet in the ‘dependency’ period of migration: that is, when people routinely said we had to have migration because otherwise who would do the menial jobs that we Brits didn’t want to do? You know, things like work in the NHS, work in restaurants, clean. That sort of thing.
