Trudeau Lies About Report Saying He Told NATO Canada Will Never Meet Military Spending Target

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has responded to an American media report alleging that he privately told NATO officials that Canada will never meet the military alliance’s defence-spending target for its member countries.

The prime minister was asked by reporters on April 19, after leaving question period in the House of Commons, to confirm or deny the comments attributed to him in a report by The Washington Post published the same day.

Audrey Hale manifesto a ‘blueprint on total destruction’ say pols, who claim FBI is stalling its release

Nashville shooter Audrey Hale’s manifesto is a “blueprint on total destruction” which the FBI are stalling releasing, according to local politicians, who describe its contents as “astronomically dangerous”.

Almost a month after Audrey Hale, who identified as transgender, killed six at the city’s Covenant elementary school before being shot by police authorities have yet to release a motive or any of the writings seized from her home, despite growing pressure.

Who’s to blame for the ethics commissioner quitting? Pierre Poilievre’s MPs, say the Liberals

OTTAWA—Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives are the reason the interim ethics commissioner quit, Liberal House Leader Mark Holland said Thursday as the government remained on the defensive over its ethical track record.

Martine Richard’s appointment to the post drew criticism late last month after it was revealed she’s the sister-in-law of Liberal cabinet minister Dominic Leblanc.

Still, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau defended the choice, noting she joined the office under the previous Conservative government, was second-in-command and there are procedures in place to guard from conflicts.

Team Trudeau has learned nothing from Aga Khan debacle

At seven-and-a-half years in office with no short- or medium-term prospect of removal, Justin Trudeau can already safely claim a reasonably impressive tenure as prime minister of Canada. At this point it’s entirely possible he could win a fourth consecutive election, which would put him in rare company indeed. That would be all the more remarkable due to his unique combination of terrible political instincts and limitless confidence to follow those instincts wherever they lead him.

CSIS warned COVID-19 would spark wave of conspiracy theories and extremism, documents reveal

Canada’s spy network warned Western governments to brace themselves for radical and sometimes violent attacks as the pandemic began.

Such warnings were outlined in documents prepared by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and stamped “TOP SECRET,” “Confidential” and “SECRET/ CANADIAN EYES ONLY.”

Heavily redacted copies of the reports from mid-2020 were obtained by the Toronto Star under the Access to Information Act.

Meet the ‘elite’ couples breeding to save mankind

With global birth rates in free fall, Silicon Valley’s ‘pronatalists’ are aiming to halt the decline – by having as many babies as possible

At the beginning of March, Aria Babu quit her job at a think tank to dedicate herself to something most people have never heard of. Having worked in public policy for several years, the 26-year-old Londoner had come to an alarming realisation about the future of the UK, the world – and the human species.

‘It became clear to me that people wanted more children than they were having,’ Babu says. ‘Considering this is such a massive part of people’s lives, the fact that they were not able to fulfil this want was clearly indicative that something was wrong.’

Armageddon, is it really such a bad thing?

Biden’s Afghanistan Debacle Haunts the White House

If the Biden White House thought it had emerged from the scandalizing sacrifice of American service personnel and national prestige in Afghanistan largely unscathed, it should think again.

America’s disastrous withdrawal from Central Asia may be little more than a memory today, but the special inspector general for Afghanistan reconstruction (SIGAR), John Sopko, still has his hands full. Speaking to a House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday, Sopko accused the Biden administration of being evasive amid his efforts to secure records about where American aid to Afghanistan is going now that the Taliban is in charge. The “abject refusal” of some executive agencies to allow him to conduct oversight of American aid dollars has led him to some unsavory conclusions, per the New York Times…

Biden’s ‘Racial Equity’ Order Threatens The Meritocracy That Makes Our Military Great

On Feb. 16, President Joe Biden signed Executive Order 14091, titled “Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.”

Biden’s sweeping order multiplies and muscles up government diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) diversity-crats — the diversity-industrial complex — and makes their power bases virtually permanent.

The order also bestows special status and benefits on favored groups, called “underserved communities,” while excluding everyone else. Why now?

Russia’s Youth Army is recruiting

Fleeing millennials have caused manpower shortages

Last June, a trio of uniformed Russian teens clutching a Soviet-era banner goose-stepped past a memorial to victims of Nazi fascism. Next to them, a dozen younger children stood awkwardly to attention as they watched soldiers and local politicians coat the memorial in fresh flowers. “The history of our country will never be forgotten,” announced a local functionary. “Never forget that you are citizens of a mighty nation!”

Doctor Who has degenerated into a right-on lecture

The BBC’s naff sermons make for joyless, predictable television.

I loved Doctor Who as a kid. Especially the monsters. From the Autons, those plastic animated shop dummies which burst through glass storefronts everywhere in the very first episode of the 2005 reboot, to the unstoppable Daleks, the thought of which kept me awake for nights on end. In later series, thrilling terrors included the Weeping Angels – ‘Don’t blink; blink and you’re dead’ – and the Vashta Nerada, flesh-eating shadows that can move.

Sad that good shows are ruined by woke idiots who think their craziness will be embraced if it is packaged just so.
