Ibrahim Ali pleads not guilty to the 1st-degree murder of 13-year-old Marrisa Shen

The jury trial of a man accused of murdering a 13-year-old girl in Burnaby in 2017 began Wednesday in the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Ibrahim Ali is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Marrisa Shen. He entered a plea of not guilty to the crime in court Wednesday morning.

Shen’s body was found in a wooded corner of Burnaby’s Central Park on July 18, 2017, several hours after she went missing.

The Judge warned the racist Canadian Jurors to not be Racist Canadian Jurors.

Nobody thinks Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump is good

Taking up where disgraced Democratic attorney Michael Avenatti left off, New York prosecutor Alvin Bragg has indicted former President Donald Trump with — well, no one is exactly sure how to describe the crime.

If Bragg were trying to ding Trump with a misdemeanor, he would have to show that Trump was knowingly involved in the false bookkeeping entries that the Trump Organization used to describe various hush-money payments regarding affair allegations. But Bragg brought 34 felony charges against Trump on the premise that the false business records were part of a greater criminal scheme.

Leaked Files Show China And Russia Sharing Tactics On Internet Control, Censorship

Secret handshake?

Years before Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a “no-limits” partnership and the Kremlin launched a wide-ranging censorship campaign following its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Beijing and Moscow were sharing methods and tactics for monitoring dissent and controlling the Internet.

That growing cooperation between the two countries is shown in documents and recordings from closed door meetings in 2017 and 2019 between officials from the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), its chief Internet regulator, and Roskomnadzor, the government agency charged with policing Russia’s Internet, that were obtained by RFE/RL’s Russian Investigative Unit (known as Systema) from a source who had access to the materials. DDoSecrets, a group that publishes leaked and hacked documents, provided software to search the files.

China Installs New Bishop in Defiance of Pact With Vatican

This is what happens when you make a deal with the devil.

Media sources report that the Vatican is accusing the Chinese government of unilaterally appointing a new bishop to Shanghai in violation of a “secret pact” that Pope Francis and Chinese officials renewed last October. Shanghai is the largest Roman Catholic diocese in China. Four months ago, the Vatican claimed that China violated the pact by installing a bishop in a diocese that is not recognized by the Holy See. This is what happens when you make a deal with the devil.

Slavery: The Guardian may be guilty, but not the rest of us

IF you happen to pass the Guardian’s offices near King’s Cross this week and hear wailing, gnashing of teeth and rending of garments, don’t worry – it’s just the Graun in the throes of an extraordinary guilt trip.

Britain’s self-righteous bible of progressive, liberal-leftish wokery has been engulfed by hand-wringing turmoil after discovering that its 19th century founders had lucrative links to the transatlantic slave trade.

Chicago elects a new mayor who defended looting

Brandon Johnson – Looting Enthusiast

Not quite one-third of registered voters (33.2%) bothered to vote in Tuesday’s election for the next mayor of Chicago, and the non-voting two thirds may soon regret their electoral passivity. Brandon Johnson, a far-left radical, has won the race with a 2.8% margin at the latest count, and thanks to his anti-police stance, the crime wave driving businesses and residents out of the city will only get worse.

The media still won’t speak the truth about grooming gangs

British Pakistanis are over-represented in this kind of child abuse

Much of the British media has not taken kindly to the Government’s new plans to clamp down on grooming gangs. After the Prime Minister announced a raft of policies to tackle the crisis, columnists singled out Home Secretary Suella Braverman for claiming that British Pakistanis were largely to blame for child abuse networks in the UK.

The Left Is Dead Wrong About What Homeless People Really Need

In Austin, Texas, in a 24-hour period in March less than a mile apart, a woman was punched several times and sexually assaulted, suffering a split lower jaw and bruises over her body; then a building was burned down, damaging adjacent buildings, causing about $1.5 million in damage. The common thread: Homeless men living on the street are the accused.

The homeless are on the streets because they don’t have homes — or so many of their so-called advocates claim. They see homelessness as a disease and prescribing housing as the first step to a cure — with housing seen as a right, like they believe health care should be.

Vancouver police deployed to end tent encampment in Downtown Eastside

An extreme fire risk and escalating crime have made a tent encampment in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside a deadly hazard and it must be closed, the city’s mayor, fire chief and police chief say.

City officials held a news conference Tuesday as Vancouver police officers and city staff were dispatched to dismantle the tent encampment along Hastings Street.

Mayor Ken Sim said the longer the street camp continues, the higher the odds more people will lose their lives and even more people will lose their homes to the fire hazard.

They did the right thing. Now will they stick with enforcement?

Don Lemon’s Misogyny at CNN, Exposed: Malicious Texts, Mocking Female Co-Workers and ‘Diva-Like Behavior’

Back in 2008, Don Lemon was co-anchoring CNN’s “Live From” weekday show with Kyra Phillips, a gig that he landed after he arrived at the network two years prior from local news in Chicago. For months, tensions between the pair kept mounting. On more than one occasion, a “Live From” producer and a newsroom supervisor had to pull Lemon off the air during a commercial break because of the anchor’s provocative antics, not unlike his recent declaration that the 51-year-old Nikki Haley isn’t a viable presidential candidate because she “isn’t in her prime.” Amid the charged atmosphere, sources say Lemon disrespected colleague Nancy Grace on the air and Soledad O’Brien during an editorial meeting attended by roughly 30 staffers.

Not a surprise.

Bruce Pardy: Agatha Christie revisions are the writing on the wall

Last week The Telegraph reported that Agatha Christie’s novels are being sanitized for re-release. HarperCollins, their publisher, is removing references to physique, race and ethnicity in new editions of Miss Marple and selected Poirot novels. Christie joins Roald Dahl and Ian Fleming on the list of dead literary icons whose works have met similar fates in recent weeks. Shakespeare, Dr. Seuss and Mark Twain have been curbed in other ways. If it seems like small potatoes, you may be missing the big picture. When publishers defile literature, you know the writing is on the wall.

Moron who literally hires anti-Semites calls for peace following Israeli raid of mosque

Trudeau calls for peace following Israeli raid of mosque

“It’s the holy month of Ramadan, it’s Passover right now, and families — Israeli and Palestinian — deserve to be able to celebrate and reflect in peace and in security. That’s why we deplore what’s going on right now in Israel,” Trudeau said at a news conference.

Playing to the Islamists as usual.
