34 x 0 = 0 – Alvin Bragg cannot wish away math.

The former publisher of the National Enquirer, a convicted perjurer, and a 44-year-old porn star constitute the potential witnesses against Donald Trump. With the prosecution relying on that cast of characters, who needs a defense?

Not since Geraldo Rivera opened Al Capone’s vault has anticipation led to such letdown as that which Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Tuesday gave to Democrats who regard Trump as Christians do Satan.

Inconvenient Victims In Philadelphia, some tragedies are more politically exploitable than others

Two weeks ago, Philadelphia agreed to pay $9.25 million in a settlement to hundreds of protesters claiming to be victims of police brutality during the 2020 George Floyd protests. In a class-action lawsuit consolidating four federal cases, the plaintiffs allege that police “[chased] residents into their homes and indiscriminately fire[d] canisters of tear gas at them,” causing them to sustain immense “physical and emotional injuries.”

China accuses Canadian MPs of foreign interference after report saying Taiwan should decide its own future

The Chinese government is accusing Canada of foreign interference, after a high-profile parliamentary committee released a report that says the Taiwanese people, rather than Beijing, should decide the fate of the self-ruled island.

The report on Taiwan by the House of Commons special committee on the Canada-People’s Republic of China relationship also urges the Canadian government to make efforts to join AUKUS, a United States-Britiain-Australia defence pact that has been condemned by Beijing as an “Asia-Pacific version of NATO.”

I’m sure Justin is conveying his deepest regrets via diplomatic backchannels.

Canadian Politician Wants to Criminalize ‘Offensive Remarks’ Near Drag Queen Story Hours

Wong Way

On Tuesday, the Ontario NDP (New Democratic Party) called on the government to establish community safety zones to safeguard drag artists and LGBTQ communities from harassment and intimidation during their performances.

France: A ‘Field of Ruins’

Paris, France. March 23, 8 p.m. A demonstration took place; as usual now, riots followed the demonstration and swept through the center of the city, then to other cities. Cars were burned, shop windows smashed, garbage dumpsters set on fire. A garbage collectors’ strike began two weeks earlier; nearly ten thousand tons of garbage, still strewn on the sidewalks, almost completely block some streets. The proliferation of rats threatens disease. Oil refineries are shut down; gas stations are running dry. More demonstrations took place March 28 — and more riots.

France, once again, is on the verge of chaos.

Elon Musk’s Twitter Labels NPR ‘State-Affiliated Media’

Elon Musk’s Twitter finally confirmed what the Media Research Center has been saying for years: National Public Radio is nothing but state propaganda.

Twitter slapped a “state-affiliated media” label on NPR’s account. Musk responded to conservative personality Benny Johnson celebrating that Twitter tore off NPR’s fake veneer of objective journalism. “Seems accurate,” Musk tweeted. MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider took a blowtorch to NPR following the news.

Western Europe’s strongest artillery and a huge reserve army: What Finland brings to Nato

Finland formally became the 31st member of Nato this week, ditching decades of non-alignment to join the military alliance in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The country has spent decades building and maintaining a fighting force to guard its 832 mile frontier with Russia and deter any invasion.

With hundreds of tanks, dozens of aircraft and the ability to call on large numbers of reservists, the Finnish military has long been one of the most powerful in Europe and is now one of the most capable in Nato.

Pretty impressive but I don’t see any transvestites.

Military starves while federal bureaucracy feasts

Canadian soldiers were sent to Poland last October, with more sent in February and March. In all, there are about 100 Canadian soldiers in Poland. They are there as part of Operation Unifier to train Ukrainian forces in “battlefield tactics and advanced military skills.”

But the Canadian Armed Forces didn’t send a cook with them. Our soldiers were told to eat out at local restaurants and turn in their receipts to be paid back.

Except they aren’t being reimbursed. Like seemingly everything else in the federal government, there is a months-long backlog in processing their expense claims.

Nolte: Amazon’s Woke ‘Rings of Power’ Lost 63 Percent of Viewers

Hidden in a larger piece about the faltering Amazon Studios is the not-so-surprising confirmation that the insufferably woke (and boring) Rings of Power lost 63 percent of its audience.

If you recall, Rings of Power is the widely derided and loathed Lord of the Rings prequel launched last September. Amazon has committed a billion—with a “B”— dollars to the project, which includes a commitment for a five-season run.

Rings was an act of cultural vandalism. Racialized dwarves and gay elves were not asked for by anyone ever.  I fear season 2 will be all Drag Elf Storytime all the time.

Canada repatriating 6 ISIS whores

19 Canadians detained in northeastern Syria on their way back to Canada: sources

After more than four years of living in an open air prison, 19 Canadians detained in northeastern Syria are on their way back to Canada, sources tell CTV News.

Six women and their 13 children were taken out of Al-Roj camp Tuesday evening by Canadian officials according to one eyewitness account.

They are not victims. They joined a Muslim murder cult. Their spawn are likely demented. They should be taken from the psycho mamas and raised in Christian homes.

Sabrina Maddeaux: Rat-infested 24 Sussex the perfect metaphor for Trudeau’s Canada

Imagine the scene. Prime minister’s official residence — early summer — a swanky garden party in full swing. Over one thousand Laurentian elites and politicos hobnob under a tent over wine and canapés as storm clouds gather outside. No one suspects complete and utter disaster, what historians would come to call God’s 11th plague, is about to strike.

I think it’s a sign that Trudeau is a minion of Satan. Nothing else explains his stupid evil.

Revealed: royals took more than £1bn income from controversial estates

King Charles and the late Queen Elizabeth II have received payments equivalent to more than £1bn from two land and property estates that are at the centre of a centuries-old debate over whether their profits should be given to the public instead.

An investigation by the Guardian has established the full scale of income extracted by the royals from the duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall, which run giant portfolios of land and property across England.

The duchies operate as professionally run real estate empires that manage swathes of farmland, hotels, medieval castles, offices, shops and some of London’s prime luxury real estate. They also have substantial investment portfolios, but pay no corporation tax or capital gains tax.

The Guardian is running an expose of the Royal Family’s wealth. It is an eye-opener.

Does the institution merit such privilege?

French envoy: Canada should link with Europe, surpass ‘weak’ military engagement

OTTAWA – France’s ambassador to Canada says Ottawa must choose between tying itself entirely to Washington or broadening its links to partner more with Europe — while also calling out Canada’s “weak” military engagement.

“This nagging question of the future American commitment offers, in any case more than ever, the opportunity for Europe, France and Canada to play a role together,” Michel Miraillet said in a French-language speech Tuesday to the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations.
