The City of Portland, Oregon, has released an online dashboard that documents more than 30,000 homeless campsites reported in the past year as officials vow to clean them up.

The Homelessness and Urban Camping Incident Response Program (HUCIRP) launched the dashboard on Wednesday to give the public more clarity on how they are handling the dire homeless situation in the City of Roses.

The interactive map shows the thousands of camps in the Oregon city, their risk level, and before and after photos after crews have cleaned up.

Housing Minister Ahmed Hussen’s office admitted Thursday night that his senior staffer is the sister of the director of a foodie communications firm that received $93,050 in constituency funds.

Hussen’s office confirmed that his director of policy, Tia Tariq, is sisters with Hiba Tariq, the director of Munch More Media, the company that has been receiving lucrative contracts to help the York South—Weston MP reach out to constituents.

I have never seen a government that has the unmitigated hatred and contempt of it citizens as Trudeau’s Liberals.

CIA director holds secret meeting with Zelensky on Russia’s next steps

CIA Director William J. Burns traveled in secret to Ukraine’s capital at the end of last week to brief President Volodymyr Zelensky on his expectations for what Russia is planning militarily in the coming weeks and months, said a U.S. official and other people familiar with the visit.

Burns’s travel comes at a critical juncture in the 11-month war. Russian forces are mounting a massive assault near the eastern city of Bakhmut that is causing many casualties on both sides and forcing Ukraine to weigh its resources there as it prepares a major counteroffensive elsewhere in the country.

Letting 16-year-olds legally change sex is a dangerously naive idea.

This week, the UK government made the ground-breaking decision to block Nicola Sturgeon’s Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill, which had been passed in the Scottish parliament last year.

One of the most dangerous and controversial aspects of the Scottish legislation was that it would enable children as young as 16 to obtain a gender-recognition certificate and thus legally change sex. So it was more than a little alarming to hear the UK education secretary, whose government had just blocked the bill, endorsing precisely this aspect of it.

In an extraordinary speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos, an increasingly crimson Gore angrily berated the rest of the world – Greta Thunberg and other youthful activists excepted – for failing to realise just how close we are to climate apocalypse. ‘People are familiar with the thin blue line which astronauts bring back in their pictures from space,’ he began. ‘That’s the part of the atmosphere which has the oxygen and it’s only 5 to 7 km thick. An anonymous look inside the UK’s woker than woke police

IT IS a widely held belief that public bodies have, these days, been completely captured by woke ideology amid the ongoing culture wars. HR departments are having their collective heads turned by intersectional dogma and managers care more for what’s said about them on Twitter than they do in performing efficiently.

Particular concern has been focused on the police, which, as if to illustrate the point, now prefers to be called a service rather than a force. Some otherwise sensible folk are of the opinion that, surely, an institution which deals with catching often violent offenders and bringing them to justice simply cannot have been taken over by this quasi-religious ‘be kind’ zealotry? Unfortunately, dear reader, I’m here to tell you that it has.
