Soledar: Ukraine battle hints at rift in pro-Russian forces

Russia’s defence ministry says its forces are taking part in the battle for Soledar, a town north of Bakhmut in east Ukraine which has been the focus of recent fighting.

It comes after the head of Russia’s notoriously brutal Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, claimed his fighters were in full control there and boasted that only his troops took part.

Mr Prigozhin will most likely use any victory to bolster the reputation of Wagner as an effective fighting force in the eyes of President Putin.

But the Russian defence ministry appeared to contradict the controversial oligarch’s claims.

John Ivison: Growing spending on consultants by ballooning public service is the real scandal

OTTAWA — “We’re definitely going to reduce the cost of consultants.”

The leader of the Conservative party hasn’t committed himself to much but that’s a pretty definitive promise — a Pierre Poilievre government would reduce the spending on third-party consultants that Ottawa’s own estimates suggest rose to $17.7 billion in 2022.

Not buying what Ivinson is selling. Yes far too much is spent on consultants a scandal in itself but he refuses to entertain the possibility that consultants have shaped government policy to serve their own interests. Dominic Barton, McKinsey and the LPC have conspired to remake this country via mass immigration out of sheer greed.

Poilievre had better speak out about this.

Toronto ranked one of the worst cities in the world for congestion

Toronto is one of the worst cities in the world for traffic, according to a new report issued by a traffic analytics company.

The report, published by INRIX this month, draws on four years of mobility and anonymized GPS probe data to identify traffic patterns in various cities across the world.

Toronto was ranked seventh globally in the world and first in Canada for worst traffic, with commuters losing an average of 118 hours on Greater Toronto Area roads and highways to congestion in 2022.

RCMP Officer Under Scrutiny For Web Site With Political Views Not Sanctioned By Trudeau

B.C. Mountie’s anti-Trudeau website raises concerns about discriminatory views within the RCMP

A B.C. Mountie’s anti-Trudeau website is causing waves in a small West Kootenay community and raising concerns about political bias among the ranks of the RCMP.

The Church of Trudeau website was online last November and early December and featured theatrical performances by a man dressed up as multiple characters in what appears to be satirical political commentary about the Prime Minister and what the site referred to as “left-wing Liberal ideologies.”

CBC News has confirmed the identity of the man in photos and videos on the website as Trail, B.C., RCMP officer Brent Lord through a source familiar with the website and its contents.

The goal is to criminalize dissent against the likes of Trudeau and McKinsey’s evil immigration policy.

Dissent is not a crime unless you disagree with Justin.

AOC dragged for claiming gas stoves are linked to brain damage

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) attempted to defend President Biden’s proposed ban on gas stoves in a viral Twitter spat Tuesday — only to be heckled herself by snarky social media users.

“Did you know that ongoing exposure to NO2 from gas stoves is linked to reduced cognitive performance,” the Bronx and Queens lawmaker tweeted in response to Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) vowing to “NEVER” give up his gas stove.

ISIS Slut Shamima Begum says she understands public anger but ‘is not a bad person’ just because she likes hanging out with kill crazy Mohammedans

Shamima Begum, who left Britain to join Islamic State as a schoolgirl in 2015, has said she understands public anger towards her but insists she is “not this person that they think I am”.

Begum, who was 15 when she left her east London home to join IS with her school friends Kadiza Sultana, 15, and Amira Abase, 16, has told the story of how she joined the terror group and life in a refugee camp in a 10-part BBC podcast, The Shamima Begum Story.

Begum was found in a refugee camp in 2019, stripped of British citizenship and banned from entering Britain. She said she knew the public saw her “as a danger, as a risk, as a potential risk to them, to their safety, to their way of living”, but added: “I’m not this person that they think I am.”

She knew exactly what she was doing.

Agents report surge in home buyers desperate to get out of deals as rates continue to soar

There are troubling headwinds for Toronto’s pre-construction real estate market as buyers are increasingly worried they’re unable to close their purchase agreements due to significantly higher interest rates.

Eggs declared a ‘luxury item’ as prices soar: ‘The new bitcoin’

Twitter users appeared disgusted at the rising price of eggs and called it “ridiculous” as some labeled them a “luxury item.”

Multiple users noted the high cost of a carton of eggs at Whole Foods and posted photos showing prices as high as $11.49.

Gare du Nord: Six people injured in stabbing attack

Six people have been injured with one in a critical condition after a stabbing at Paris’s international Gare du Nord station early on Wednesday.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said a man was stopped by two off-duty police officers who were returning home from a shift.

He said the suspected attacker was shot three times and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities are trying to establish if there was a motive for the attack.

Poilievre calls for study of McKinsey and Company’s earning spike under Liberal government

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is calling for a committee study of the government’s relationship with a consulting firm following reports it has been awarded 30 times more money in federal contracts under Justin Trudeau’s Liberals than Stephen Harper’s Conservatives.

… “The questions it raises for us are not around the international firm,” he said, “but rather, why did the Government of Canada hand over its priorities, through contracts, to a private foreign company?”

Poilievre also questioned former McKinsey global managing director Dominic Barton’s later appointment to Canadian ambassador to China, a position he left in 2021.

“It’s time for Canadians to get answers,” Poilievre said. “We need to know what this money was for, what influence McKinsey has had in our government, and it is time for Canadian taxpayers to have answers to these questions.”

Trudeau sold control of Canada’s Immigration Policy to McKinsey to benefit the corporate class.

Authorities in Houston, Texas say they’ve now spoken with the man who shot and killed a robber at a Houston taqueria last Thursday evening, and have not taken him into custody or arrested him. Instead, police say they’ll refer the results of their investigation to a grand jury, who will determine whether the armed patron should face any charges in connection with the incident.

What is Trudeau’s game with the politicking over a ‘just transition’?

It will be interesting to see which of Alberta’s two main party leaders is able to make the stronger case in the upcoming election that Justin Trudeau is rooting for her opponent.

The UCP has already been banging the drum of a Notley-Trudeau-Singh alliance, but at this point a credible case can be made that Trudeau prefers the re-election of Danielle Smith and the UCP. How else to explain the federal government’s clumsy and ill-timed announcement of forthcoming “Just Transition” legislation?

Justin is an idiot but a true believer of the BIG GREEN LIE.
