Rachel Levine, the United States assistant secretary for health, has become a lightning rod for attention and controversy in the Biden administration.

Levine is a nonbinary transgender woman who, as a biological male, was married with two children. Levine was named Woman of the Year by USA Today. When the Christian satire website Babylon Bee published an online post calling Levine “Man of the Year,” Twitter suspended the Bee’s account, which was then unsuspended under new Twitter owner Elon Musk.

Christiaan van Heijst explained he has witnessed objects which appear to exceed all known technology as they appeared to hit hypersonic speeds of up to 23,000mph.

The 39-year-old, from The Netherlands, is a respected airman and an an award-winning aerial photographer – and yet he has seen things he cannot explain.

UFOs are traditionally a highly stigmatised topic – often being dismissed off hand as nothing beyond conspiracy theories or something for the world of cranks.

But in recent years the conversation has moved, with even the US government confessing their are things in the sky which they as of yet cannot or will not publicly identify.

Only a few years ago this could have cost him his job.

Courts have long ruled the government cannot pressure private entities, as an “agent of government,” into censoring what itself cannot.

Sam Bankman-Fried spent $200M in FTX customer funds on two investments: feds

Indicted FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried used customer cash from sister firm Alameda Research to invest $200 million in two separate companies, according to a report.

One of Bankman-Fried’s investments went toward the banking app Dave, which disclosed a $100 million windfall last March that purportedly came from FTX Ventures, CNBC reported on Wednesday.

The other $100 million investment backed Mysten Labs, a Web3 firm focused on digital infrastructure, according to the business network.

It looks worse every day, now he has been caught lying about the source of funds for these two “investments.” He is scheduled to make a plea Jan 3. I have no idea which way he will go, but he seems “entitled” enough to claim innocence.

Pele, the Brazilian who has long been considered the greatest footballer of all time, has died at the age of 82.

The legendary figure, a man who transcended his sport and was a global icon, learned that his colon cancer had advanced on December 21 and was told he would be kept in hospital over Christmas – with the iconic forward needing treatment for cardiac and renal dysfunction.

Previously he had been admitted to the hospital on November 30 with swelling all over his body and ‘decompensated heart failure’ before passing away a month on after receiving palliative care.

Bail hearing set for eight teenage girls charged in stabbing death of homeless Toronto man

TORONTO — Eight teenage girls facing second-degree murder charges in the death of a homeless man in Toronto are set to appear for a bail hearing in the new year.

Toronto police have said three 13-year-olds, three 14-year-olds, and two 16-year-olds allegedly swarmed and stabbed a 59-year-old man in the downtown core in mid-December and he later died in hospital.

OPP release new details about suspects charged in shooting death of officer

New details have been released about the two people charged with first-degree murder in the death of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Const. Grzegorz “Greg” Pierzchala.

According to the OPP, Randall McKenzie is a member of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, located near Brantford, while Brandi Stewart-Sperry is from Hamilton.

At a Wednesday evening press conference, OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique said he could not say what the possible motive behind the shooting could be.

How come no farmers have been rounded up?

Sentence guesstimates? Killed a policeman so 5 years with 2 year healing lodge stint included and early release for having internalized the white man’s racism.
