Videos circulating on social media show female protesters in Russia’s Dagestan region demonstrating against the military’s effort to mobilize Russian citizens for the war in Ukraine.

The protesting comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “partial mobilization” effort last week amid the country’s invasion of its Eastern European neighbor that began in late February, ordering an additional 300,000 reservists with military training to fight in the conflict.

OTTAWA — The Canadian Armed Forces is sounding the alarm over a severe shortage of recruits to fill thousands of vacant positions, with the shortfall so bad that senior officers are now calling it a crisis.

… Brodie was unable to say whether the push for diversity is hurting more than helping, at least in terms of sheer numbers, by turning off the military’s traditional recruiting pool: young, white men.

“We can’t measure the impact of that right now. It’s too early,” she said. “But to be very, very clear … we want suitable candidates, and suitable candidates are those that first and foremost reflect the values of the Canadian Armed Forces.”

A shortage of white males volunteering to serve? Why could that be?

Maybe the government and schools should stop denigrating their heritage and calling them genocidal racists for starters.  After all their forebears have done most of the building, fighting and dying for this country since 1867.

Does anyone recall the reluctance of Quebecers to fight in “English” wars?

Well now Canada has many little Quebec’s.

I believe the government’s reckless mass immigration policy has succeeded in turning Canada into a balkanized hodgepodge of disconnected tribes with greater loyalty to their “homelands” than Canada. Khalistan anyone? China anyone? Tamil Tigers anyone? Palestine anyone? I can’t see much incentive for a white male to risk his life for that.

We are not as Trudeau claimed the world’s first “Post – National State”, we are the world’s first “Fifth Columnist State.”

If they’re looking for recruits that reflect the values of the Canadian Armed Forces I hear a teacher in Oakville may be looking for a new career. Does CAF do custom uniform fittings?

In Europe, “at the rate at which things are going, the population will have halved before 2070, with the continent at risk of losing 400 million inhabitants by 2100,” noted James Pomeroy, an economist at China’s HSBC bank.

The growth of the world population has already reached its lowest rate since 1950 and Europe’s population will continue to contract until the end of the century, noted the Financial Times, citing the United Nations World Population Prospects report.

Far right demonstrators demand British government overturns its immigration policy as Met police make arrest and keep them apart from ‘anti-fascist’ counter-demo

The Metropolitan Police have arrested one man and are seeking to keep apart rival demonstrations of far-right protesters and anti-fascists in Westminster.

Pro-Putin and Tommy Robinson-aligned group ‘Patriots for Britain’ held an anti-immigration march at Parliament Square from midday.

Anti-fascists (known as ‘Antifa’), meanwhile, gathered at nearby Marsham Street to protest at the Home Office just yards away.

Iran’s women are desperate and furious. They won’t take it any more

Mahsa Amini was just 22 when she died in suspicious circumstances while detained in Tehran. Mahsa, from the northwestern Iranian province of Kurdistan, was pronounced dead on September 16 from suspected brain damage caused during her time in police custody. She is believed to have been arrested for wearing her headscarf in what was deemed an “improper” manner.

When it comes to energy and climate change, Canadians want it both ways

In the past year, global events have thrust the issue of energy to the forefront of Canadians’ minds. At the same time, global concern about climate change remains very high, and is higher in Canada than it is in other countries.
