Ukrainian Canadian Congress wants permit revoked as Russian turbine hearings continue

OTTAWA – The Ukrainian Canadian Congress is urging the Canadian government to revoke a permit that allowed the export of a turbine repaired in Montreal to a Russian energy giant.

The permit granted Siemens Canada an exemption to sanctions against Russia for two years starting in early July and would allow the company to import and repair up to five more turbines as per their maintenance schedule.

Justin cares about the Green-scam not Ukraine.

Biden’s DOJ embraces bias and anti-religious bigotry

Do you believe a baker has the right not to bake cakes for same-sex weddings ?

Do you believe church daycare programs have just as much of a right as other such programs to apply for state grants?

Do you think pregnancy centers should not be forced by the government to tell pregnant women where to get an abortion ?

If you support the First Amendment rights of any of these entities, then President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice believes you’re a bigot unworthy of associating with — or at least that is the message the department sends by protecting a senior DOJ official who attacked the nation’s leading legal advocate of religious liberty.

I’d rather stay in prison for a century than believe in transgenderism, teacher says

An Irish teacher suspended for refusing to use gender-neutral pronouns has said he would rather stay in prison for a century than compromise his beliefs on transgenderism.

Enoch Burke, an evangelical Christian, was jailed for contempt of court on Monday after breaching the injunction not to go to or try to teach at Wilson’s Hospital School in Co Westmeath.

Almost 25% of Democrats think men can get pregnant

According to a WPA Intelligence survey, 22% of Democrats think that “some men can get pregnant.”  What’s even worse, although not at all surprising, is that the women are the ones who are really crazy.

It turns out that 36% of White, college-educated Democrat women think men can get pregnant.  I’ve written before about how leftism damages women.  It makes them extremely angry and neurotic.  It also, apparently, cuts them off from reality.  Sadly, these same women are a force to be reckoned with politically.  They may be loopy, but they’ve got political power.

Straight Talk From Birmingham Police Chief on the Magic City’s Skyrocketing Murder Rate

… New Police Chief Scott Thurmond, formerly the captain of the highest-crime sector of the city and a homicide investigator, was sworn in on August 2. In a wide-ranging interview with Carol Robinson at Al.com and The Birmingham Times, which are doing a joint series on crime, he spelled out the problem. “The majority are acquaintance based. We don’t have a lot of strangers getting killed,” Thurmond said. Eighty-eight percent of murder victims are black.

The ideology of lockdown is a menace to society

China’s ongoing brutal lockdowns are a reminder of the insanity of ‘Zero Covid’.

Remember Zero Covid? This was the idea that the only way to deal with Covid-19 was by eliminating it. Only when every trace of the virus had been scrubbed from society would it be safe to let the masses out again, insisted the Zero Covid fanatics. Zero Covid ideologues were everywhere. In the medical establishment, the political elite, the media. In early 2021 the Guardian’s leader writers were telling Boris Johnson that he should ‘[stamp] out the virus with a Zero Covid strategy’. Kill Covid to save society.

Justin Trudeau tells cabinet he’s sticking around as leader for the next election

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told his federal Liberal cabinet Wednesday that he is staying on to fight in the next election, the Star has learned.

Trudeau addressed speculation about his political future behind closed doors at a cabinet retreat in Vancouver, according to several sources with knowledge of the discussion.

Just ahead of the meeting in which the Liberal leader declared he’s sticking around, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, a long-rumoured aspirant for the Liberal leadership, tried to dismiss a journalist’s question about a news report she is considering leaving politics and may be angling for an international position, possibly as NATO secretary general.

That likely explains Freeland’s interest in the NATO post.

Europe’s green deception: Forests destroyed for Paris Accord compliance

This reads like a cautionary tale on the Law of Unintended Regulatory Consequences, and to some extent it is. However, it’s just as much a tale of green-movement hypocrisy, as well as yet another lesson on the impact of incentives and artificial market interventions. The New York Times explains in a sideways manner how the EU has attempted to comply with its own Paris Accord targets for carbon-dioxide reduction by, er, wiping out the forests of the continent for conversion to power.

Trans Activist Poured Piss On Himself Outside UK Human Rights Commission

Tranny pours piss on himself

Trans activists left over 60 bottles of piss outside the offices of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) on Friday afternoon to protest the government watchdog’s policy on trans access to public facilities.

Masked representatives of the anonymous group Pissed Off Trannies (POT) ceremonially delivered the urine to the EHRC offices in Westminster, London and staged what they described as a “piss-in”.

This protest tactic comes highly recommended by elementary school teacher’s unions I understand.

White daughter of Maine pageant queen quits role as indigenous college dean after being accused of LYING that she’s Native American to land job while peddling $35,000 tribal quilts

A college dean who landed her job by claiming to be a Native American artist who pedaled $35,000 quilts has resigned in disgrace after it was revealed she is the white daughter of a Maine pageant queen.

Alleged identity fraudster Gina Adams, 57, was born in Connecticut to white ancestors, and announced her resignation Tuesday.

She is said to have posed as a member of the White Earth Reservation to bolster her career, most recently as a professor of art and design and dean at Emily Carr University in Vancouver, Canada.

Once you accept that Western elites are using the Ukraine-Russia conflict as cover for their Great reset green-scam it all makes sense.

Terence Corcoran: The economic and moral case against sanctions

Canada’s sanctions against Russia are doing more to cripple the West than Russia

Back in April, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke aggressively describing his government’s decision to escalate sanctions against Vladimir Putin and Russia. “Canada remains determined,” he said, “to be there to support Ukraine, to be there to push back on Russia including with crippling sanctions of a scale never before seen against a major economy.” Looking out over the global economic battlefield this week, most of the evidence suggests that Canada’s sanctions against Russia, along with similar actions by other nations, are doing more to cripple the West than Russia.

Once you accept that Western elites are using the Ukraine-Russia conflict as cover for their Great reset green-scam it all makes sense.

Freeland says she is focused on her ‘really big job,’ but does not deny rumour she’s eyeing top NATO role

OTTAWA — Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland says she “already” has a “really big job” but did not deny rumours that she could be in the running to become the next secretary general of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Does this mean her rumoured PM ambitions are no more? Maybe, but this may also suggest they are only on hold & that she figures Junior’s successor faces a Kim Campbell style crash and burn no matter who takes the reins.

Waiting out the storm in a cushy sinecure like NATO Chieftain suits her oversized ego and lets her return to domestic politics if and when things are looking up for the LPC.
