Intel officials to assess national security fallout from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago documents

The U.S. intelligence community will evaluate the potential national security risks stemming from former President Donald Trump’s possession of top-secret documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines told top lawmakers.

In a letter obtained by POLITICO and dated Friday, Haines told House Oversight Committee Chair Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) and House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) that her office will lead an “assessment of the potential risk to national security that would result from the disclosure of the relevant documents.”

OTTAWA – There are just two weeks left until the Conservative Party of Canada announces its new leader on Sept. 10.

While nearly half of the ballots have already been cast, the five candidates — Pierre Poilievre, Jean Charest, Roman Baber, Scott Aitchison, and Leslyn Lewis — are busy rallying support in a final get-out-the-vote push.

I don’t understand how the author of this article could write that Charest along with Poilievre are the “front-runners”. Unless they know the books are cooked Charest is not even close.

‘No place’ for harassment in Canada: Politicians slam verbal attack against Deputy PM

Across the nation, Canadian politicians – current and former – are denouncing an incident in Alberta during which Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland appeared to have been verbally harassed on Friday.

“There is absolutely no place in our country for the harassment, intimidation and threatening conduct that [Chrystia Freeland] and her staff were subjected to last night,” federal minister of public safety Marco Mendicino said online about the 14-second Twitter video.

Maybe the Prime Minister should cease calling citizens racists and Islamophobes, better yet maybe his government should stop hiring disgusting racists like Laith Marouf.

B.C. judge lambastes conservation group for using protesters as ‘cannon fodder’

A B.C. provincial court judge has accused a conservation group of using frontline protesters as “sacrificial lambs” to mount illegal traffic blockades aimed at drawing attention to their climate change agenda by stirring up chaos.

In a searing decision, Judge Laura Bakan gave a conditional discharge to a 30-year-old who took part earlier this year in repeated Save Old Growth demonstrations.

Bakan said Ian Wiltow Schortinghuis was the type of “unsophisticated” person organizers convince to get themselves arrested instead of those who “pull the strings.”

Accused Waukesha parade killer removed from court following outburst

The man accused of killing six people at the Waukesha, Wisconsin Christmas parade last year was escorted out of court Friday after going on a tirade during a pretrial hearing.

Darrell Brooks, 39, went from sleeping at the defense table to yelling at Judge Jennifer Dorow and sheriff’s deputies Friday morning, according to footage published by WISN-TV.

A Window on the Orwellian Dystopia of America

The intensity of the leftist thought tyranny project has exploded in recent years, and continues to startle us. It has been explained quite well by a computer whiz named  David Rozado, now a professor of computer science in New Zealand, on the pages of the Journal Academic Questions, published by a conservative association of Academics, the National Association of Scholars.

Dr. Rozado is, in effect, studying the structure of a PsyOps project on a wide scale.  Rozado writes an incredibly important research paper on memes and themes in academic and popular literature — how our Orwellian world is being created and people are taught what to think and what to consider important. He does it by way of technology that reminds me of Lexis on steroids.

Universities drop Chaucer and Shakespeare as ‘decolonisation’ takes root

This is for their own good, according to the many British universities, which have sought to “decolonise the curriculum” and liberate courses from the inequities of “white, Western and Eurocentric” knowledge.

The syllogism seemingly accepted across many university departments runs like this: Western knowledge is a product of colonialism; colonialism is an evil to be opposed; therefore Western knowledge must be opposed.

In this view, it is incumbent upon academics to change curricula – megalithic “knowledge” is to be replaced by pluralistic “knowledges”, and the “Euro-centric” canon is to be replaced by one that is more diverse.
