Will we soon rewrite textbooks on our place in the universe?

Over the last century, we have seen an exponential increase in the understanding of the physical universe. International observatories on Earth and in space have produced magnificent images spanning the full range from the small scale of black holes to the large-scale structure of the entire observable universe. Now, we are in the midst of a discovery of even greater magnitude, but few are even acknowledging it. And incredibly, it is what many regard as the modern icon of quack science – unidentified objects, traditionally labeled UFOs, that may represent technological equipment manufactured by an advanced extraterrestrial civilization.

Maybe the aliens will kill the Covid!

Angry owner blows up his Tesla

A Finnish man who was shocked by the cost of a battery replacement for his Tesla Model S decided that blowing up his electric car with an Elon Musk dummy inside would be a more suitable solution.

The owner said that he lost his faith in Musk’s company after he was told to pay 20,000 euros (around $22,500) for a new battery for his car. He was apparently among the early buyers of the Tesla Model S, which had been around since 2012, so his warranty had already expired.

O’Toole says Conservatives are consulting on the ‘unfair’ Bill 21

Although he still maintains it’s a matter Quebecers will have to settle for themselves, Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole says his party is consulting on its position on the controversial and “unfair” Bill 21.

In an interview with CBC’s The House airing Saturday, O’Toole said the Conservative caucus has discussed the law. He said he has tasked several people with reviewing the party’s stance on the law and Conservatives are consulting outside groups as well.

Ontario reports 3,784 new Covid cases … and thank goodness the vaccines & those masks they’ve forced us to wear are crap because now breakthrough infection “Super Immunity” can be ours!

Ontario reports 3,784 new cases of COVID-19, no new deaths

Of the confirmed cases today, 746 involve people who are unvaccinated, 119 involve those who are partially immunized, 2,781 involve fully vaccinated people, and 138 involve those with an unknown vaccination status.

Your baggy mask isn’t going to cut it against Omicron, epidemiologist warns

After almost two years of living with a pandemic, you would think we’d all be mask experts by now.

But the COVID-19 landscape is changing rapidly, and the things we thought would protect us are suddenly in need of a serious rethink — including, and perhaps especially, masks.

Those cloth and blue surgical masks so many of us have been wearing? They’re unlikely to cut it against Omicron, says an expert.

Super Immunity! – sorta like Logan’s Run “Renewal” – So why were we forced to wear the crap masks then? Nothing inspires confidence like being lied to.

Lab study suggests those who survive breakthrough COVID-19 infection may have ‘super immunity’

A new study that tested live SARS-CoV-2 against blood samples in a laboratory setting is suggesting that those who survive a breakthrough infection may have some sort of ‘super immunity’ against variants.

The study, which was published Thursday in the Journal of the American Medical Association, focused on how those with breakthrough infections had a subsequent strong immune response against the Delta variant, which researchers believe is an indication that there will be a strong response against other variants as well.

Thank goodness the masks don’t work.

Awaiting the return of the Time of Trump

It is practical to consider that Donald Trump is a man created for combatting the Democrat party’s progressive march toward totalitarian control of our country. Created for combat? Why is that the case?

Consider that Trump was a successful builder on the island of Manhattan in New York. Is succeeding as a builder of skyscrapers in New York City an easily accomplished feat? Are hundreds of successful builders among the millions that call New York home? Of course not. Roadblocks exist to keep the pretenders from participating in building big in New York.

Why local crime hurts Democrats nationally

For several years now, progressives have waged a war on law enforcement

Preventing crime and punishing offenders is primarily the responsibility of local authorities. They have no greater obligation to the citizens who elected them and who fund the government.

It is up to local police, supervised by political leaders and subject to the law themselves, to provide a safe environment for citizens to go about their lives, pursuing their own goals in peace and security. It is up to local politicians to ensure that police are adequately funded and properly trained. It is up to local prosecutors to follow up all justified arrests and prosecute offenders when the evidence is adequate. When police overstep their limits, prosecutors should pursue them too. The goal is a safe environment, subject to the rule of law.

Donald Trump’s Alleged Anti-Semitism

Liberal Jewish outlets and the liberal media are charging Donald Trump with anti-Semitism, on the basis of his recent remarks to Israeli journalist Barak Raviv

… The authoritative Pew Survey published a poll of Jewish Americans’ attitudes towards Israel earlier this year. Only 34% of American Jewish adults say they strongly oppose boycott, divestment and sanctions against the State of Israel and only 33% say the Israel government sincerely wants peace. To be sure, 60% say they have “a lot” or “some” in common with Israel. Translation: Liberal American Jews will entertain a degree of positive sentiment for Israel as long as Israel agrees to commit suicide to conform to their fantasy of what a Jewish State should be. Never mind that successive Israeli governments have offered the Arabs 90% of what they asked for, and had the door slammed in their faces.

Save your tears for Shamima’s victims

Shamima Begum tore up her British citizenship the moment she joined the ISIS death cult.

Nothing better illustrates the vast, cavernous moral vacuum at the heart of identity politics than the transformation of Shamima Begum into a poor little victim of Racist Britain. Here we have a young woman who willingly, happily trekked thousands of miles to join an Islamist death cult that was enslaving Yazidi women, executing Christians, defenstrating homosexuals and waging an unforgiving war on anyone who deviated from its deranged belief system. And yet according to the woke set, she’s the victim. Not only of the evil men who allegedly groomed her into joining ISIS – yeah, right – but also of the horrible, Islamophobic stain on this planet that is modern-day Britain. She betrayed her country in the most sordid way imaginable and the woke condemn the country rather than her. As I say, moral vacuum.

Why Are So Many Prominent Journalists Abandoning Journalism?

We seem to be entering a new era of yellow journalism, in which ad hominem attacks and conspiracy-mongering are more valued than truth and accuracy.

In my optimistic days as a young journalist, I believed that if only the public had access to more information the nation would enter a golden age of better government and more-thoughtful political debates. This was before the internet, cable news, and talk radio came into bloom—when newspaper and TV gatekeepers controlled what we’d read and hear.

Miss Sweden and Bugs Bunny add up to a bad day in court for Ghislaine Maxwell

Defending a client charged with crimes modern society finds more terrible than murder, who might face the rest of her life in prison, Ghislaine Maxwell’s defence in New York opened with a nice lady who hadn’t seen anything, a travel agent who booked flights years after they mattered and a professor of BugsBunnyology – and none of them cut the mustard.

At the end of the defence’s first day, Maxwell was seen holding her hands up in despair at her fancy attorneys who have cost her, according to her own estimate, some $7m. Juries in US federal trials must be unanimous and there are legal grounds for knocking out some of the charges, but it looks bleak for Maxwell.

Winter infections soar on the continent as Belgium rages with anti-lockdown riots, Holland enforces brutal new curbs and Germany bans tourists

Winter infections are soaring across Europe amid the spread of Covid variant Omicron as countries desperately bid to slow transmission with the introduction of further restrictions.

Denmark became the first EU country to lift its Covid restrictions three months ago, but the emergence of the new variant has seen Europe revert back to tougher rules as cases and hospitalisations are on the rise again.

The UK lifted its own lockdown restrictions earlier on July 19, but Health Secretary Sajid Javid today warned there are ‘no guarantees’ Christmas Day will go ahead without a lockdown as Boris Johnson desperately fends off alarming warnings from scientists.

SIMS: Use CO2 as a material to make cool things instead of taxing us for it

Late architect and futurist R. Buckminster Fuller said, “pollution is nothing but the resources we are not harvesting. We allow them to disperse because we’ve been ignorant of their value.”

new report  released by the Canadian think tank SecondStreet.org shows that items ranging from diamonds to soap are being created using captured carbon dioxide and methane – rather than letting the gases float into the atmosphere.
