Kamala Harris Explodes in Angry Interview After Aide Unsuccessfully Tries to Shut It Down

The setup here is Harris doing an interview yesterday with a host named Charlamagne Tha God, and toward the end, things really went off the rails for everyone involved. What started the sequence of cringe was Charlamagne asking Harris who the “real president” is in relation to Joe Manchin blocking the “Build Back Better” bill.

Amazon partnered with China propaganda arm

LONDON, Dec 17 (Reuters) – Amazon.com Inc was marketing a collection of President Xi Jinping’s speeches and writings on its Chinese website about two years ago, when Beijing delivered an edict, according to two people familiar with the incident. The American e-commerce giant must stop allowing any customer ratings and reviews in China.

A negative review of Xi’s book prompted the demand, one of the people said. “I think the issue was anything under five stars,” the highest rating in Amazon’s five-point system, said the other person.

Venezuelan Socialists Hate American Culture So Much They Can’t Stop Ripping It Off

CARACAS — For years, the socialist regime of Venezuela has attempted to wage an ideological war against the United States and its “imperialist and capitalist anti-values” that, according to them, are the root of all of Venezuela’s cultural and societal problems.

For the past two decades, superheroes such as Superman, Batman, or Captain America have not been exempt from the Revolution’s criticism — yet, like the U.S. dollar that’s holding the country together, the socialist regime sure loves to embrace these icons of American media … by plagiarizing them.

Prince Andrew fails in bid to have newspaper cuttings describing his accuser Virginia Giuffre as a ‘money-hungry sex kitten’ taken into account by New York judge considering her sex claim against him

Prince Andrew has failed in his bid to have newspaper cuttings describing his accuser Virginia Giuffre as a ‘money-hungry sex kitten’ taken into account by the New York judge who is considering her claim against him.

District Judge Lewis Kaplan dismissed the request as a PR stunt and refused to consider the press reports or a 139-page manuscript written by Virginia Roberts Giuffre about billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Judge Kaplan said there was ‘no proper basis’ to look at the articles or Ms Giuffre’s manuscript The Billionaire’s Playboy Club – published in 2011 – which he added ‘appear to have been submitted for whatever public relations purposes the defendants advisers may have had in mind’.

The great COVID-19 infodemic: How disinformation networks are radicalizing Canadians

A common refrain of those opposed to vaccines is that immunizations are harmful to people’s health and an infringement on human rights. Any kind of science proving the efficacy of any vaccine is often denied.

In 2021, those health concerns have mutated into a widespread belief among the most staunchly anti-vaccine that if you receive a COVID-19 vaccine dose, you will almost certainly die.

The latter is a baseless conspiracy theory. But tens of thousands of Canadians believe it’s true and have created social media channels to promote it.

I got vaxxed, it’s not my business whether you did or not. Besides it appears Omicron is gonna get us all.

LCBO says it’s run out of COVID-19 rapid test kits, the same day it started supplying them

The LCBO says it has already run out of COVID-19 rapid antigen test kits after select stores across Ontario began to give them out on a first-come, first-serve basis on Friday.

“Our supply of COVID-19 rapid test kits has run out. Thanks for your patience & understanding. We’ll post if we receive more,” the LCBO said in a tweet Friday evening.

The organization said Friday morning it didn’t know exact arrival times for specific stores, and expected “limited” supply to be scooped up fast.

What a dumb idea, how much you want to bet these kits start showing up for sale on E-Bay etc?

Ontario reports 3,301 new COVID-19 cases; highest 7-day rolling average in 7 months

Ontario is reporting more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases for a second day in a row and four more virus-related deaths as the seven-day rolling average topped 2,000 on Saturday.

Provincial health officials logged 3,301 new coronavirus cases today, up from 3,124 infections yesterday and from 1,607 a week ago.

Among the latest cases, 2,338 of the individuals are fully vaccinated, 718 are unvaccinated, 104 have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine and 141 have an unknown vaccination status.

Yes, pandemic fatigue is an issue, experts say. Will Omicron make it worse?

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney recently said that, despite the rapid spread of the Omicron variant across the country, Canadians may be at their “outer limits” of what further public-health restrictions they’re willing to accept.

“Widespread non-compliance,” he told the National Post, was harming the credibility of public-health measures and that many Albertans “have just tuned us out.”

How much did we pay for these sub-standard vaccines? Civil disobedience is our future.

Critics Slam ‘Anti-Islamophobia’ Bill

The anti-Islamophobia bill passed in the House Tuesday was introduced by a representative with a history of anti-Semitic comments and has the potential to chill free speech, critics told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“This legislation is a nightmare for Muslims and non-Muslims alike— for all Americans,” M. Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy told the DCNF. The bill, he argued in an article for the Center for Security Policy, creates a space in U.S. bureaucracy which exists exclusively to attack our allies with charges of anti-Muslim bigotry when they criticize Islamist regimes.

How Russia tries to censor Western social media

Google and Meta face the threat of multi-million-dollar fines for failing to delete content that the Russian government considers illegal – but a close look at court papers reveals these are often simply posts about protests in support of jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

In the summer of 2018, a Russian poet writing under the pseudonym Siberian Viking posted a caricature on his Facebook account. It showed the double-headed eagle of the Russian coat of arms, with the bird’s heads replaced by faces of President Vladimir Putin and the then-prime minister, Dmitri Medvedev.

Alongside it was a short poem, alleging that the eagle was twice as greedy as others, lied twice as much and carried out surveillance with four eyes. It ended with an emotional cry: “When will Russians awaken to remove this contagion?”

Florida v. Critical Race Theory

Governor Ron DeSantis takes a stand against racialist ideologies in public institutions and businesses.

Yesterday, I accompanied Florida governor Ron DeSantis on an early-morning flight from Tallahassee to The Villages retirement community, where he was scheduled to deliver a policy address on critical race theory. During the flight, DeSantis reviewed talking points for his speech, edited communications materials, and, after the plane touched down, selected a red-and-blue sign that would hang on the podium: “STOP WOKE ACT.”

Who isn’t getting infected?

It has been nearly two years since the first inklings of a respiratory infection in China that would turn the world upside-down. In a rational society, this would be the point where we realized that our attempts to vaccinate against this infection have failed. Yet we persist in our devotion to the sacred serum that will deliver us from our distress.

Currently, 60% of adults in the United States are fully vaccinated. That’s not nearly enough, say the pro-vaccinators. But exactly 0% of the population was vaccinated in 2020, and the number of deaths was lower. That is a profound fact that cannot be ignored.

Judges mull Harvey Weinstein retrial – reports

Several US appellate judges expressed concerns during a hearing on Wednesday over how the 2020 trial of disgraced former film producer Harvey Weinstein was handled, according to media reports from the courtroom.

The disgraced Hollywood mogul was sentenced to 23 years in jail last year after a jury found him guilty of rape and sexual assault. He currently faces additional charges of sexual misconduct, with a maximum penalty of 140 years behind bars.

Western greed fuels China’s domination – Our oligarchs prostrate themselves for profit

There is a hypocrisy at the heart of the West’s attitude to China: although we’re constantly warned about the threat from Beijing, our political and corporate elites seem intent on making this century a Chinese one. Unlike in the Thirties, this appeasement isn’t driven by fear and ignorance; it is motivated largely by greed.

And that greed could prove fatal.
