University of Minnesota’s ‘Antiracism and Healthy Equity Center’ claims ‘birthing people’ are at higher risk of premature deliveries in over-policed neighborhoods
A University of Minnesota scholar has raised eyebrows with her study into how policing affects ‘birthing people’ in different parts of Minneapolis.
Rachel Hardeman, director of the Center for Antiracism Research for Health Equity at the university, published her findings on December 8 in the medical journal JAMA.
Hardeman found that all mothers living in intensely-policed parts of Minneapolis were significantly more likely to give birth prematurely – defined as birth before 37 weeks of gestation.

Salvation Army ditched by donors and volunteers after disastrous release of anti-white ‘anti-racism’ guide
Salvation Army chapters across the country are reporting massive shortages in volunteer hours and toy donations just weeks after the charity distributed (and then pulled) a controversial guide calling on white people to confront their “racist attitudes.”
Some 20,000 volunteer hours have gone unfilled for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign this year, which historically represents about 33% of the charity’s total yearly donations. The charity has also reported substantial shortages of toy and gift donations in some parts of the country, such as New Jersey, where donations are down 30% across the state.

Search warrant is issued for Alec Baldwin’s iPhone weeks after fatal shooting of cinematographer on Rust movie set
Police in New Mexico have issued a search warrant for Alec Baldwin’s phone, after the fatal October 21 shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film, Rust.
The search warrant, requested by Santa Fe sheriffs, authorizes police to review all text messages and photos on the actor’s iPhone, as well as any stored location data, as part of their investigation.
Judge David Segura, a magistrate in Santa Fe, approved the request on Thursday afternoon.

The Wuhan lab leak is now the most likely origin of the coronavirus pandemic because Beijing tried to cover it up, MPs were told today.
Harvard scientist Dr Alina Chan told the Science and Technology Select Committee that it is ‘reasonable’ to believe that Covid was genetically engineered in China.
She also said that the Chinese Communist Party’s cover-up of the initial outbreak in Wuhan two years ago and attempts to sabotage the World Health Organisation’s inquiry into the origins of the pandemic made the lab-leak theory likely.
Lithuania Stands Up to China: Europe Should Too
China has blocked all imports from Lithuania and has ordered multinational companies to sever ties with the Baltic country or face being shut out of the Chinese market.
The extraordinary sanctions, which amount to a full economic boycott of Lithuania, are in retaliation for the country’s decision to allow Taiwan to open a representative office in its capital, Vilnius.
Taiwan has other offices in Europe and the United States, but they use the name of its capital city, Taipei, due to the host countries’ preference to avoid any semblance of treating Taiwan as a separate country. Beijing insists that the democratically self-ruled island is a part of the territory of the communist People’s Republic of China and has no right to the trappings of a state.
