Up to 30 Russians a year falling prey to bloodthirsty Satanist covens, expert warns

Russian Cannibal Witch

Demented occultists looking for victims as part of their sick rituals pose a real threat to the Russian public, one top analyst has cautioned after a pair of satanists confessed to a gory double murder in a remote woodland.

Speaking to RIA Novosti on Tuesday, Roman Silantyev, the deputy chairman of the Russian Ministry of Justice’s advisory council on religion, said that people should be aware of the risks. “The likelihood of becoming a victim of satanists is small, but it is not zero, 20 to 30 people a year can become their victims,” he said.

Mr. “You Didn’t Build That” Throws a Party

You might have heard that there was a party on Martha’s Vineyard over the weekend. While many commentators have made good, well reasoned points about the incongruity of the maskless celebration of privilege, the flagrant hypocrisy and unselfconscious opulence of the occasion, I think the greatest irony has been, largely, missed.
You see, Mr Obama has turned the ultimate trick of the socialist oppressor.

Canadian Michael Spavor found guilty of “Spying”, sentenced to 11 years in prison by Communist Chinese Kangaroo court

Canadian Michael Spavor has been found guilty and sentenced to 11 years in prison by a Chinese court in a verdict that will further test the strained relationship between the Canadian and Chinese governments.

He was convicted of spying and illegally providing state secrets to other countries.

The verdict and sentencing mark a significant new development in Spavor’s journey through the Chinese legal system, which Ottawa and other observers have decried for a perceived lack of transparency.

Climate racism isn’t real

Toxic air is colorblind

How many headlines have you seen about climate and environmental racism? So many you think of it as a real problem?

Now, how many articles have you actually read about climate racism? If you’ve read one, just one, then you already know it doesn’t exist. Once you get past the fear-mongering click bait and the SEO-friendly headlines, almost all reportage of climate racism dances around the real issue: wealth inequality.

China Owes The World $35 Trillion If Coronavirus Lab Leak Is True

Did China cause the coronavirus pandemic?

On August 24, a report President Joe Biden ordered 90 days earlier from the intelligence bureaucracy about the origin of COVID-19 will be due. There is an odd lack of leaked information about where the report stands now. Despite their supposedly secretive nature, these agencies often seem to employ even more aggressive publicists than SEAL Team Six and leak what passes for intelligence to force the hand of a president they are supposed to serve. When he ordered the review, Biden forecast that the agencies might not agree on a source of COVID, or might issue a posterior-covering report that stresses they present their conclusions with “moderate” confidence—shorthand for “guessing.”

Apocalypse porn

The green movement is a doomsday cult. Progressives should have nothing to do with it.

There’s a new trend online. Forget blacking out your Instagram page to show how much you care for black lives. Never mind bigging up your pronouns. That’s so last month. Right now it’s all about apocalypse porn. Across social media, the caring set are sharing images of the ‘hellfires’ in Greece and the aftermath of the floods in Europe and the wildfire currently raging in Northern California, all with the same message: this is climate change. This is the world our greedy, destructive species has created. This is the hell that awaits us all if we don’t stop taking cheap flights to Malaga and drinking from plastic straws. ‘Welcome to global warming!’, as one observer of the Greek fires quipped.

Canada: pressure on Catholic church to compensate victims of residential schools abuses

Canada: pressure on Catholic church to compensate victims of residential schools abuses

The Catholic church in Canada has come under growing pressure to compensate victims of the country’s residential school system after the scale of its assets were revealed in a string of media investigations.

As part of a 2007 agreement, the church agreed to pay C$29m in compensation to survivors, but only distributed a fraction of that figure, citing poor fundraising efforts.

Now, reports by CBC News and Globe and Mail have suggested that the church not only controls more than C$4bn in assets, but also pulls in hundreds of millions in charitable donations and constructed gilded cathedrals while claiming it lacks the funds to make good on its promises to pay compensation.

CBC and the Globe have been going hard at the RC Church, now the Guardian chimes in.

Is the ADL a greater threat to liberty than the extremists it targets?

Americans woke up to a new reality last month when the Biden administration revealed that it was “flagging” social-media posts that it wanted Facebook to censor. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the motive for this unprecedented move was to combat “misinformation” about COVID-19. But after a year in which Silicon Valley oligarchs worked with mainstream media allies to silence legitimate news stories, such as the New York Post’s reporting about Hunter Biden’s laptop that put their preferred presidential candidate in an unflattering light, the notion that the government is pushing the owners of the world’s information superhighway to engage in more censorship is hardly surprising.

Inflated Expectations

Politicians and public-health officials are setting unrealistic goals for controlling Covid-19.

Without doubt, the Covid-19 pandemic requires urgent action: to protect the vulnerable from severe disease and death; to prevent the overwhelming of the health-care system; and to keep businesses, schools, and ordinary life humming. But the sense of panic infusing traditional and social media outlets as they report on the pandemic is out of all proportion to the reality of the situation.

No, AOC, they don’t dislike you because you’re a woman — it’s because you’re a socialist

Why did Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez run for Congress against a liberal Democrat, Joseph Crowley? Well, as she told CNN’s Dana Bash in an hour-long interview (!) last night on CNN, AOC lives in an imaginary world where people have to choose between eating and filling their prescriptions. (Has she been to the Bronx? The average woman weighs 191 pounds there.)

Arabs Celebrate Downfall of Tunisia’s Islamists

The removal of Tunisia’s Islamist Ennahda [Renaissance] Party from power has been welcomed not only by Tunisians, but by many Arabs who have accused the Islamists, specifically the Muslim Brotherhood organization, of spreading chaos and instability in the Arab world.

The Ennahda Party was inspired by the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and the ideology of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and leader of the 1979 Iranian Revolution.
