Great idea, let’s mine Bitcoin for China….

China Bitcoin Mine – just look at all that “job” it created

‘Up to 1 million’ bitcoin processors could be relocated to Alberta from China under energy firm’s proposal

Three natural gas-producing sites in southern Alberta could host “up to one million” bitcoin mining machines relocated from China under a deal proposed by Nevada-based Black Rock Petroleum Company amid Beijing’s ongoing crackdown on cryptocurrency production and trading.

… It’s unclear what the project could mean for Alberta’s tax base. Black Rock said the site would be staffed by Chinese and English speaking technicians and other employees, but it’s unclear how many jobs the project would entail.

…Under the terms of the Quirk Creek agreement, Black Rock’s press release said, Black Rock would work in partnership with China-based Optimum Mining Host Ltd. (OMH), which would cover many of the costs anticipated to arise out of the arrangement.

Province switches COVID reporting to focus on cases by vaccination status

Province switches COVID reporting to focus on cases by vaccination status

The Ford government is changing the way it reports daily COVID-19 stats in Ontario, with a focus on hospitalizations instead of cases and highlighting differences between the vaccinated and unvaccinated.

… The province will now report on those hospitalized, in ICU and those who tested positive by breaking them down into three categories: unvaccinated, partially vaccinated and fully vaccinated individuals.

On Tuesday, the province reported 321 new cases of which, 267 were in unvaccinated individuals, 54 were partially vaccinated and 78 fully vaccinated.

Passports can’t be far behind

CNN and ‘Squad’ member Cori Bush are blasted for fake news story that helped to raise $230,000 for ‘single mom of three facing homelessness over eviction moratorium’ – but who was actually just a BABYSITTER

CNN and ‘Squad’ member congresswoman Cori Bush highlighted the struggle of a single mom of three facing homelessness who turned out to be the children’s babysitter.

Dasha Kelly, 32, of Las Vegas, was featured in a segment last week with CNN Reporter Nick Watt, who took a tour of Kelly’s home.

It promoted a GoFundMe she set up to collect rent which has since raised more than $230,000 thanks to CNN’s report, and repeatedly referred to her as the mother of Sharron, 8, Kia, 6, and Imani, 5. But it turns out Kelly was just their babysitter.

US vows to isolate Taliban if they take power by force

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — A U.S. peace envoy brought a warning to the Taliban on Tuesday that any government that comes to power through force in Afghanistan won’t be recognized internationally after a series of cities fell to the insurgent group in stunningly quick succession.

That’ll scare em.

Taliban captures its SEVENTH city in five days as Pentagon says there’s ‘not much’ US can do to help the Afghan army

The Taliban has captured its seventh regional capital and attacked a major city today as jihadist fighters continue to push back beleaguered government forces.

Farah, capital of western Farah province, fell to the Islamists on Tuesday afternoon following a ‘brief’ fight with security forces, local officials said. Militants are now in control of the governor’s office and police headquarters.

Meanwhile the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, the largest in the country’s north, also came under attack from the Taliban, though government forces said they had repelled an initial assault.

Oregon governor signs bill removing reading, writing, & math requirements for high school kids, to help ‘students of color’

Oregon Governor Kate Brown quietly signed a bill last month that removed the requirement for graduating high school children in the state to be proficient in reading, writing, and math, in an effort to aid “students of color.”

Brown signed Senate Bill 744 on July 14, but did not issue a press release or hold a ceremony to mark the occasion, instead opting to pass the bill into law as quietly as possible, according to the Oregonian. The bill also wasn’t entered into a legislative database until two weeks after its signing – an abnormality, as bills are typically entered on the same day.

John Ivison: Showing Erin O’Toole a path to victory

With support for the leader in freefall, others — such as Pierre Poilievre — begin to shoe-horn their way toward the top spot

The only political communication to break through my self-imposed summer news blackout was an online ad by Pierre Poilievre that railed against price hikes on homes, food and gas. “Trudeau’s plan to borrow forever means inflation and bankruptcy,” the MP says in an effective walk-and-talk slot that ended with the curt message: “Pierre Poilievre: Fighting for You.”

Sex Pest Andrew Cuomo resigns as governor of New York

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced his resignation on Tuesday under threat of impeachment following the release of a scathing Attorney General report in which investigators concluded that he sexually harassed several women in violation of state and federal law.

“I think that given the circumstances, the best way I can help now is if I step aside,” Cuomo said from his Manhattan office.

Communist China’s Media avoids mentioning that China is by far the world’s biggest polluter in its coverage of ‘code red for humanity’ UN environment report

Chinese state media made no mention of the country’s huge carbon emissions or pledge to reach net-neutral a decade later than most of the world as the UN released its ‘code red’ climate report on Monday.

Outlets loyal to Beijing did cover the report, its warnings, and urged the need for ‘global action’ – but did not point out that China is by far the world’s largest carbon emitter and doesn’t intend to reduce its output at all until later this decade.

Also conspicuously absent from most Chinese reporting was mention of the 2050 net neutral emissions target that a vast majority of countries are committed to – perhaps to avoid comparison with Beijing’s target to be net neutral by 2060.

Meanwhile the Trudeau Liberals will make Canadian lives miserable with his vanity carbon tax, all so he can join the circle jerk with his globalist friends.

Virginia Giuffre: Prince Andrew accuser files civil case in US

A US woman who alleges she was brought to the UK aged 17 to have sex with the Duke of York has filed a civil case in New York claiming he abused her.

Virginia Giuffre, who was an accuser of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, claims she was sexually assaulted by Prince Andrew in London and New York.

A spokeswoman for Prince Andrew, 61, said there was “no comment” on the case, which was filed under New York’s Child Victims Act.

He has consistently denied the claims.

What next for Prince Andrew? Queen’s son does NOT have diplomatic immunity over lawsuit brought by Epstein victim Virginia Roberts and will probably never set foot in America again for fear of being hauled to court

GUNTER: Latest WE Charity report is bad news for Liberals

“… In some instances, the department giving out the contract would contact WE in advance of the project being made public and outline just what the department was looking for. This could have given the Kielburgers a competitive advantage over other organizations that might also be interested in bidding.

On at least one occasion, Jeglic found, department officials suggested to WE an amount it might bid that could beat out any rivals.

And on another occasion, the ombudsman appears to have found that the cost of a contract awarded to WE was established after the charity had been given the deal.”

Chinese court rejects Canadian Robert Schellenberg’s appeal of death sentence

A Chinese court upheld on Tuesday the death sentence of Canadian prisoner Robert Schellenberg for drug smuggling — a day before another court is due to rule on the case of another Canadian accused of spying.

The court proceedings for the two Canadians come as lawyers in Canada representing Meng Wanzhou, the detained chief financial officer of telecoms giant Huawei, make a final push to convince a B.C. Supreme Court not to extradite her to the United States, where she faces charges linked to violating sanctions.

Schellenberg was arrested for drug smuggling in 2014 and jailed for 15 years in late 2018.

Well that sucks.

Ontario reports 321 new COVID-19 cases; two deaths

Ontario reported 321 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths on Tuesday, as the province’s seven-day rolling average of new cases climbed above 300 for the first time since late June.

Tuesday’s count brought the rolling seven-day average of new cases to 306, up from 283 yesterday.

Doug Ford urged to create a vaccine passport before the fourth wave hits

A sharp rise in Ontario’s COVID-19 cases has business groups turning up the heat on Premier Doug Ford to implement a vaccine passport program.

Concerned a fourth wave this fall could force a return to public health restrictions with more than 4 million Ontarians still unvaccinated — including kids under 12 not yet eligible — passport advocates maintain the best defence is a good offence.

“The last thing anyone wants is to be shut down but that’s what will happen if we don’t use every tool in the tool kit,” Ontario Chamber of Commerce President Rocco Rossi said Monday. “It’s about mitigating risk as much as possible. We’re going to be living with this for a while.”

If you’re fully vaxxed you can still catch and spread covid but with a passport you can spread it legally. Am I doing this right?

Hunter Biden’s Art Imitates Communist Chinese Life

The Biden family’s lucrative financial relationships with the Chinese are undeniable, but now it appears that the Renaissance man, Hunter Biden, toast of the art world, has even taken a leaf from the Deng Xioaping playbook on graft.

In the 1980s, Deng Xiaoping was the chief foreign and domestic policy maker and paramount leader of the Chinese Communist Party. He held sway well into the 1990s. Deng’s secret sauce was a ladleful of authoritarian communism with a dash of capitalism shaken in by privileged gang members.
