It looms over the poverty-stricken South Side of Chicago like a vast meteorite that has just plunged to Earth and embedded itself in the Windy City.

Comparisons have included a mausoleum, a ‘giant trash can’ and even the Death Star, the grim and deadly giant space station from the Star Wars films. And with a final cost of $850million, it has a price tag to match.

The granite-clad eyesore has sparked a furious row with locals who dismiss it as no more than a monument to a US President’s overweening ego and arrogance.

The statesman in question, however, isn’t – as might be expected – Donald Trump but Barack Obama, a politician not nearly so accustomed to such ugly accusations.

Obama met with the Canadian prime minister Mark Carney and Trump’s MAGA allies flipped out

President Donald Trump’s MAGA allies were in a frenzy of conspiracy theories Friday after former President Barack Obama greeted Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at a think-tank event in Toronto.

A video, posted by Carney on X, shows him shaking hands with the former president, before Obama also greets the prime minister’s wife, Diana Fox Carney. Obama was in town to deliver a keynote address at a gala for Canada 2020, a progressive think-tank that advocates for inclusivity. Obama and Carney have known each other on a professional level since at least 2008, when he was the U.S. president and the PM served as Governor of the Bank of Canada.

The Independent can be as bad as the Guardian.

In 1921, Woodrow Wilson, the first of America’s four transformative progressive presidents, became the first president to remain in Washington and make the nation’s capital his permanent home after leaving office. In very mild defense of the man who did more than any other to establish the administrative state and thus pervert America’s carefully constructed constitutional design, Wilson had suffered a debilitating stroke two years prior that left him partially paralyzed and nearly blind. He died just a few years later, in 1924.

It’s beginning to look like the Obama administration was all-in on the Russia collusion hoax long before Trump won the 2016 election.

On Monday, Fox News reported that before the FBI ever launched its politicized probe of the Trump campaign’s possible ties to Russia in the summer of 2016, U.S. intelligence agencies had “credible foreign sources” indicating the FBI would help spread the Russia collusion hoax,  which of course is exactly what happened.

It’s the latest twist in a string of shocking new revelations about how the U.S. intelligence community, at the behest of then-President Barack Obama, manufactured and disseminated a false narrative that Moscow was working to get Trump elected in 2016.

What if?

Why did Barack Obama feel America needed change? and how was that supposed to come about?

Many of us can recall when Barak Obama eagerly proclaimed on the eve of his election “we are five days away from transforming the United States of America” to thundering cheers of adoration back in 2008. Very few failed to ask why America, a Constitutional Republic, with self-governance as its cornerstone, needed a transformation; and what would America be transformed into?

What if , said the conspiracy theorists, Barak Obama was a fraud, a Communist Muslim plant ensconced into the highest echelons of our government by the U.N. and the World Economic Forum to advance a totalitarian Marxist/Islamic New World Order under the auspices of today’s new ruling class of billionaires (oligarchy) akin to the old Feudal System of yesterday? America, a superpower would need to be destroyed from within for their mission to succeed. What steps would need to occur for their mission to become reality?
