Critical Race Theory ‘Racist’ and Harming Our Children: FAIR Co-Chair

Yiatin Chu, an Asian mother of two and co-chair of the New York City chapter of the Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR), said that critical race theory is “racist” and is having a harmful impact on schoolchildren.

In an interview with NTD’s “Focus Talk,” Chu acknowledged the presence of racism in the United States, but disputed the notion of systemic racism, a concept pushed by critical race theory advocates.

Iran’s downing of Flight 752 was act of terrorism, Ontario court rules

The downing of Flight 752 by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards was a deliberate act of terrorism, the Ontario Superior Court has ruled in a decision released on Thursday.

Justice Edward Belobaba found “on a balance of probabilities that the missile attacks on Flight 752 were intentional.”

“The plaintiffs have established that the shooting down of Flight 752 by the defendants was an act of terrorism and constitutes ‘terrorist activity,’” the judge added.

Israeli media: Cabinet approves cease-fire in Gaza

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Security Cabinet has approved a unilateral cease-fire to halt an 11-day military operation in the Gaza Strip, Israeli media said late Thursday.

The decision came after heavy U.S. pressure to halt the offensive. Multiple reports said the cease-fire was to go into effect at 2 a.m., just over three hours after the decision.

Netanyahu’s office could not immediately confirm the reports, and there was no immediate reaction from Hamas.

Ontario’s slow reopening plan will allow a haircut eventually at some point this summer … maybe…

The Ford government has announced a three-stage reopening plan tied to vaccination rates that could allow patio dining to resume and non-essential retail stores to reopen for in-person shopping as early as mid-June.

… The second stage will begin approximately 21 days later once 70 per cent of Ontario adults have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 20 per cent have been fully vaccinated.

In that stage, the province will begin permitting small indoor gatherings of up to five people and will also allow personal care services, like barber shops and nail salons, to reopen.

Here’s a breakdown of the 3 Stage Re-Opening Plan – all of which is Vaccine rate dependent

‘I Support Israel Because The Other Side Would Behead Me.’ Why Are ‘Queers For Palestine’ Ignoring LGBTQ Persecution In Gaza And The Muslim World?

There is something seriously wrong with the Anti-Zionist left.

The ongoing violence that broke out after Palestinians rioted in Jerusalem and Hamas proceeded to target Jewish civilians with indiscriminate rocket fire has reignited the debate among Western nations regarding the supposed “culpability” of Israel.

Mostly split along party lines, the attitude promoted by the Left is that Israel is an almost uniquely evil country, actively oppressing the Palestinian people.

The Media’s COVID Origin Coverup Campaign Has Begun

The Atlantic’s David Frum appears to be first out of the gate in what will likely become a coordinated, aggressive media campaign to defend the people and institutions that got the COVID-19 origin story wrong — and absolve them of all responsibility, however complicit they might be — and instead blame it all on Trump and his supporters.

It sounds stupid, I know, but it’s true. Frum thinks Trump and his tens of millions of supporters “are not interested in weighing the evidence” of the virus’s origins, and only want “payback for the political and cultural injuries inflicted on them by the scientists.” The whole thing, for them, is just “a weapon in a culture war here at home.”

Europe: Anti-Israel Protests Descend into Anti-Semitism

Pro-Palestinian demonstrations in cities across Europe have descended into unrestrained orgies of anti-Semitism after protesters opposed to Israeli military action in the Gaza Strip openly called for the destruction of Israel and death to Jews.

The protesters, numbering in the tens-to-the-hundreds of thousands, include a hodgepodge of anarchists, hard-left anti-Israel activists and immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa. Many demonstrators — carrying flags of Muslim countries, including Algeria, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Tunisia, Turkey and Syria, as well as the green flag of the Islamist terrorist group Hamas and the black flag of global Jihad — have shouted Islamist chants such as ‘Allahu Akhbar’ (‘Allah is the Greatest’), and have openly called for Jews to be murdered or raped.

COVID-19: Privacy watchdogs fear ‘significant privacy risk’ of vaccine passports

As Canadians wait to hear whether the federal government will issue vaccine passports to allow international travel, the country’s privacy watchdogs said privacy must be front and centre to protect people’s sensitive health information.

B.C.’s privacy commissioner Michael McEvoy warned vaccine passports carry a significant privacy risk and should only be used when absolutely necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Walgreens Closes 17 San Francisco Stores Due To “Out Of Control” Shoplifting

The effects of allowing chaos to prevail in Democrat-controlled cities across America might not be evident to liberals and social justice warriors now, but when businesses close up, it’s going to be very transparent then.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, 17 Walgreens Pharmacy locations have shuttered their doors in San Francisco during the past five years. At least ten of the stores in the city have closed since 2019.

Tensions flare as fifth Toronto homeless encampment cleared in a week at Lamport Stadium

A homeless encampment in west-end Toronto became the scene of a physical clash between Toronto police officers and protesters on Wednesday, as a crowd attempted to block dozens of police and security from clearing some 15 remaining people from a Lamport Stadium camp.

A physical altercation erupted after advocates attempted to block machinery from taking away a small, wooden structure. Two people were arrested for trespassing, and one for alleged assault of a police officer. Before the clash, protesters had decried enforcement and officers pressed into the crowd with bikes to form a perimeter around an occupant told to pack their bags.

I am a little surprised this has received such subdued media coverage. But then the media in Toronto has paid scant attention to the weekly “Freedom Marches” which grow with each outing. It almost seems they pick and choose the news they report on to suit someone’s agenda.

Israel shot down armed Iranian drone – Netanyahu

The drone Israel shot down near the border with Jordan on Tuesday was Iranian, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday.

“While we were busy fighting, a few days ago, Iran sent an armed drone into Israel from Iraq or Syria,” Netanyahu told German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, who was in Jerusalem. “Iranian forces launched an armed drone, which our forces shot down at the border between Israel and Jordan.

Ontario reports 2,400 new Covid cases … and… glum expectations of a lost summer so maybe take up golf?

Ont. reports 2,400 new COVID-19 cases today but rolling seven-day average still down

After two consecutive days of daily case counts below 2,000, the number of new COVID-19 infections reported in the province jumped up to 2,400 on Thursday.

Today’s total is up significantly from the 1,588 cases confirmed on Wednesday and the 1,616 infections reported on Tuesday but down from the 2,759 cases reported last Thursday.

Majority of Canadians anticipate another lost summer due to COVID-19 restrictions: poll

A majority of Canadians believe this summer will be another disappointment as COVID-19 restrictions are set to remain in place despite increased vaccinations, a new poll suggests.

The Ipsos poll conducted exclusively for Global News found seven in 10 Canadians are anticipating a second lost summer. Yet 61 per cent of those who responded to the poll also said they believe this summer will be better than last year’s, when vaccines were still far from becoming a reality.

But not if your a golfer rumour has it…

Infectious-disease scientists at Canada’s high-security lab collaborated with Communist China’s Military

Infectious-disease scientists at Canada’s high-security lab collaborated with China

Scientists working at Canada’s highest-security infectious-disease laboratory have been collaborating with Chinese military researchers to study and conduct experiments on deadly pathogens.

Seven scientists in the special pathogens unit at the National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) in Winnipeg and Chinese military researchers have conducted experiments and co-authored six studies on infectious diseases such as Ebola, Lassa fever and Rift Valley fever. The publication dates of the studies range from early 2016 to early 2020.

The Globe and Mail has also learned that one of the Chinese researchers, Feihu Yan, from the People’s Liberation Army’s (PLA) Academy of Military Medical Sciences, worked for a period of time at the Winnipeg lab, a Level 4 facility equipped to handle some of the world’s deadliest diseases. This researcher is credited as a co-author on all six of the papers. However, on two of them, he is listed as being affiliated with both the Winnipeg lab and the military medical academy.

Has anyone been shot yet?
