“They are constantly plotting to conduct attacks against Americans and harm Americans,” Brett Velicovich told Fox News’ “Watters’ World.” “It’s natural for them to think of ways that they can infiltrate this border. And when they see the weak policies on behalf of the Biden administration, I mean what an opportunity for them to come in.”

‘Critical Race Theory’ Being Taught at US Army’s West Point: Congressman

A Republican congressman said he is looking for answers from the U.S. Military Academy West Point about whether “critical race theory” is part of instruction for cadets.

Rep. Michael Waltz (R-Fla.) sent a letter to West Point’s superintendent, Lt. Gen. Darryl Williams about “information” that recently came to his “attention from unsettled soldiers, cadets, and families that raises serious concerns about the U.S. Army’s introduction of elements of critical race theory into cadet instruction.”

University students will not be marked down for poor spelling, grammar and punctuation in exams because it would be ‘elitist’.

Academics have been told that insisting on good written English discriminates against ethnic minorities and those who went to ‘underperforming’ schools.

The Office for Students wants to reduce the gap between the proportion of white and black students gaining good degrees and cut dropout rates among poorer students.

Iran nuclear: ‘Terrorist act’ at underground Natanz facility

A nuclear facility in Iran was hit by a “terrorist act” a day after it unveiled new advanced uranium centrifuges, a top nuclear official says.

He did not say who was to blame but urged the international community to deal with nuclear terrorism.

Israeli media suggest the incident was a result of an Israeli cyber attack.

Last year, a fire broke out at the Natanz underground facility, which the authorities alleged was the result of cyber sabotage.

Occupied Portland ICE building set afire by left-wing extremists during Saturday night insurrection

Left-wing extremists reportedly set a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building on fire during another insurrection Saturday evening in Portland, Oregon.

Horrifying video footage from the insurrection showed the facility’s entrance on fire and its doors shaking as agents were “trying to apparently get out.”

Besides trying to burn down the facility and kill those inside, the left-wing extremists also reportedly launched fireworks at the building, lit a fire in its driveway and smashed its windows.

Canadians will lose jobs amid COVID shutdowns, but may rebound ‘quickly’: employment minister

On the heels of promising new job numbers from Statistics Canada, employment minister Carla Qualtrough said Canadians can expect to see another dip in employment figures as new shutdown measures take hold across the country to curb soaring COVID-19 cases.

The economy added 303,000 jobs in March as employment increased, StatCan reported on Friday, including gains in sectors that the pandemic hit hard.

“I don’t think next month’s job numbers will be as hopeful, because they will reflect the lockdowns that are happening now,” Qualtrough told The West Block‘s Mercedes Stephenson in an interview.

JERUSALEM — The coronavirus variant discovered in South Africa can “break through” Pfizer/BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine to some extent, a real-world data study in Israel found, though its prevalence in the country is low and the research has not been peer reviewed.

It appears that the AstraZeneca jab has a much lower efficacy rate than either Moderna, Janssen or Pfizer. But guess which one Canada seems to have the most of for the GTA? Yup AstraZeneca.

The effectiveness of a Sinovac vaccine at preventing symptomatic infections was found to be as low as 50.4% by researchers in Brazil, near the 50% threshold at which health experts say a vaccine is useful. By comparison, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has been found to be 97% effective.
