China announces sanctions on Canadians, including MP Michael Chong

Any strong words Trudeau may mouth about China are to be taken with a very large grain of salt.

China on Saturday announced sanctions on individuals and entities in Canada and the United States in response to sanctions imposed on Chinese citizens and groups over conditions in Xinjiang.

China sanctioned MP Michael Chong, who is also the Conservative Party’s foreign affairs critic. Sanctions were also placed on the House of Commons subcommittee on international human rights, which concluded in October that China’s treatment of its Uyghur population amounts to genocide.

“The individuals concerned are prohibited from entering the mainland, Hong Kong and Macao of China, and Chinese citizens and institutions are prohibited from doing business with the relevant individuals and having exchanges with the relevant entity,” the ministry wrote.

Welcome to the United States of Polygamy

Welcome to the United States of Polygamy

Interviews like “The Police Chief, His Wife, and His 6 Girlfriends” are signs of the divorce between society and traditional marriage.

Cambridge, Massachusetts, recognized domestic partnerships of two “or more” persons earlier this month. Lest any scold regard the policy as lacking in morals, the ordinance specifically excludes those “in a domestic partnership with others outside this partnership.” A bigamy exists even to bigamists.

In 2010, Oklahomans voted for a measure barring judges from relying on sharia law when deciding cases. It seemed overkill at the time, almost like a parody of orange-alert-era yahoos. But here a decade later American women cover their faces with religious fervor and American men, at least some of them, embrace polygamy with a similar enthusiasm.

Wild Boar Head Placed on Quran in Swedish Town Following Mass Stabbing by Afghan Immigrant

Earlier this month, the Swedish town city of Vetlanda saw a mass stabbing incident, in which a 22-year-old Afghan man injured seven people. A local association that helps migrants subsequently voiced concerns about animosity toward refugees.

A chopped-off wild boar head has been placed on a copy of the Quran in the Swedish town of Vetlanda in Jönköping County. The act is currently being investigated as a hate crime and incitement against an ethnic group, the police said.

The installation was found in a parking lot in a residential area. By the time the police patrol arrived at the scene, many onlookers had already gathered to get a glimpse.

Iranian Regime, Houthis Celebrate Biden Administration’s Policy

The Biden Administration has completely reversed the former administration’s firm policy on the Houthis in the Yemeni civil war.

Canada to change law that bars immigrants with disabilities and illnesses

Canada to change law that bars immigrants with disabilities and illnesses

The federal government is going to change the current law that bars migrants with disabilities and illnesses from immigrating to Canada.

The federal government plans to permanently change the so-called “medical inadmissibility rule” against prospective permanent and temporary migrants who have a health condition that “might reasonably be expected to cause excessive demand” on Canadian health or social services.

The excessive demand cost is linked to average Canadian per capita health and social services. The cost threshold against migrants is updated yearly. In 2020, it was set at $21,204.
