Former President Donald Trump will return to social media within the next few months — and with his own service, his top adviser said Sunday.
Jason Miller told Fox News’ ”Media Buzz” that the former president will be back in two to three months, and will launch a new platform that he claimed would “completely redefine the game” and attract tens of millions of users.

Minneapolis is on edge as the trial of Derek Chauvin kicks off. Chauvin is the police officer who was caught on video last May with his knee on the neck of George Floyd, whose subsequent death ignited protests around the country and the world. Chauvin is now being tried for the murder and manslaughter of Floyd.
Appearing on the ‘Dean Obeidallah Show,’ author and MSNBC analyst Malcolm Nance – who has claimed Trump is an “asset” of Russia and even suggested that the terrorist group ISIS suicide bomb a Trump property in Istanbul – hinted the sharing of the video increases the chance of potential violence.

What does China really want?
Well, China really wants to rule planet Earth. It also wants to possess and rule the near portions of the solar system. No, I am not exaggerating. No nation in history has been this ambitious.
With regard to our planet, Xi Jinping wants the world to reject the current Westphalian international system, in place since 1648. In its place, he wants China’s imperial-era system, where Chinese emperors believed they not only had the right to rule tianxia, all under heaven, but also the heavens compelled them to do so.
San Francisco officials, including Mayor London Breed, are calling on the Vice President of the San Francisco school board, Alison Collins, to resign after tweets emerged showing Collins’ “anti-Asian bias.”
The shocking tweets show Collins accusing Asians of adopting “white supremacist ideology” and of working to become “model minorities” in order to take advantage of a “white supremacist” system that she claims is typically biased against people of color.
“Alison is personally committed to giving back to the public education system which helped her mother rise out of poverty and helped her father become one of the first Black professors at UCLA.”
…When Toyota offers an opinion on the car market, it’s probably worth listening to. This week, Toyota reiterated an opinion it has offered before. That opinion is straightforward: The world is not yet ready to support a fully electric auto fleet.
Toyota’s head of energy and environmental research Robert Wimmer testified before the Senate this week, and said: “If we are to make dramatic progress in electrification, it will require overcoming tremendous challenges, including refueling infrastructure, battery availability, consumer acceptance, and affordability.”
End Game: They don’t want you driving anything at all.
A federal judge this week said that the Democrat Party is close to controlling the press as he detailed what he described as shocking bias against Republicans.
D.C. Circuit Court Judge Laurence Silberman outlined his opposition to the Supreme Court’s key decision in 1964 in New York Times v. Sullivan, which has since protected many media outlets from lawsuits.
Silberman, a Reagan appointee, wrote that the ruling is “a threat to American Democracy” and must be overturned.
For months now, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has blamed everyone for Canada’s trickle of COVID-19 vaccines but himself.
Trudeau and his ministers have gone so far as to blame former Progressive Conservative prime minister Brian Mulroney — who was prime minister from 1984 to 1993 — for the privatization, or “the selling off“, of Connaught Laboratories. What he fails to mention is that Connaught Labs didn’t go anywhere. It’s now part of Sanofi Pasteur, the world’s largest manufacturer of vaccines. The Connaught Campus in Toronto accounts for one-fifth of the company’s global vaccine sales.

Erin O’Toole told Conservatives this weekend that their party must change — because if it doesn’t, he said, it won’t be able to win the votes necessary to defeat Justin Trudeau’s Liberals in the next election.
And if the Liberals do win, he added, they’ll be able to implement their own changes — changes that O’Toole cast as frightening and potentially ruinous.
But O’Toole didn’t tell Conservatives exactly how they need to change. And then delegates delivered a potentially damaging vote on climate change policy that suggests his party base might not be ready to move very far.
Canada has a Gravy Train Class fed and maintained primarily by the LPC with an outsized influence on elections.
The corporate welfare class, our lifestyle political class, large swaths of the media, NGO’s by the score, public service unions etc. etc. etc.
Ontario and Quebec are it’s primary habitat.
They have no reason to switch allegiance.
Right now the LPC controls Banana production in Bananada and that isn’t about to change.
Maybe the problem is insoluble, perhaps a national split-up is the answer.
But I don’t believe remaking the party into an ersatz LPC is the answer.
I’ll be voting PPC.
Ontario reports more than 1,700 new COVID-19 cases for third straight day
TORONTO — Ontario health officials are reporting more than 1,700 new cases of COVID-19 for the third day in a row.
The province confirmed 1,791 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Sunday. The case count comes after officials logged 1,745 more infections on Friday and 1,829 more infections on Saturday.
The case numbers reported over the past three days represent a significant increase from the 1,553 cases recorded on Thursday and the 1,508 recorded on Wednesday.
Big news: I got a haircut yesterday.
I had to leave TO to get one. I’m a covid refugee!
One place I called said they weren’t serving anyone from other more infected zones!
I’m oppressed by the colour of my zone!
Not a bad cut I admit. The place was packed and business was non-stop.
How bizarre to have to travel for a cut.
I feel bad, the guy who has cut our hair for 20 years still can’t open.
I will go in for a trim no matter when he is allowed to open up.
Things were a lot easier when mom or dad just gave you a kitchen brushcut.

Top Biden officials such as Secretary of State Antony Blinken and national security adviser Jake Sullivan joined Chinese diplomats in Anchorage on Thursday to discuss where the communist regime stands on key issues and how the Biden administration plans to address them.
What started as Blinken warning China that the United States would not shy away from addressing issues such as in “Xinjiang, Hong Kong, Taiwan, cyber attacks on the United States, economic coercion of our allies,” hinting at America’s recent sanctions on Beijing, however, turned into a tense “spat” that left some Chinese Communist Party propaganda and agenda-setting unchecked.

Conservative Party must have ‘the courage to change,’ Erin O’Toole tells party convention
OTTAWA — In a highly-anticipated keynote speech to his party’s national convention, Conservative Party leader Erin O’Toole said it isn’t enough to wait for Liberal scandals to bring down Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — the Conservatives must instead be willing to change in order to expand their voter base.
“We are never going to win over Canadians just by relying on Justin Trudeau to continue to disappoint,” O’Toole said. “His scandals, as outrageous as they often are, will never be enough to defeat him.”
No question the CPC is gonna need a higher power and it ain’t O’Toole.
