The Biggest COVID-19 Vaccine Skeptics? Frontline Health Care Workers

What do frontline health care workers and first responders know about COVID-19 vaccines that politicians and their public health advisers don’t?

According to a January analysis by Gallup, 51 percent of health care workers and first responders polled in December were unconvinced of the merits of getting vaccinated, even if the vaccine “was free, available, FDA approved and 90% effective.”

Dems Claim ‘Far-Right’ Most Embraces Violence, Jordan Peterson Begs to Differ and Brings Receipts to Prove It

Dems Claim ‘Far-Right’ Most Embraces Violence, Jordan Peterson Begs to Differ and Brings Receipts to Prove It

Throughout the summer of 2020, we watched rampaging Black Lives Matter Marxists and Antifa anarchists try their damnedest to burn America’s cities to the ground and create as much chaos as possible. Or as Pelosi & Co. saw it, “justifiable peaceful protests.”

As the riots continued, night after night, week after week, month after month, Democrat after Democrat trotted out before a television camera, or onto a CNN or MSNBC set to remind America that “far-right extremists” are far more likely to embrace violence as means to achieve political goals, and peaceful, “buy the world a Coke and teach it to sing in perfect harmony” Democrats were anything but.

The new Broadcasting Act is about speech control over the internet

You should judge a car’s direction by where its wheels are pointed, not by its turn signals. Bill C-10, currently before Parliament, claims to be about broadcasting. It is not. It is about speech control over the internet.

If you get an electronic version of this thing we call a newspaper, you will have noticed that many articles and columnists now appear by means of embedded video. According to the federal government, video and audio over the internet are “broadcasting,” and if you broadcast you need a licence from the CRTC — either that or be “exempted” (a term of art) from the need to be licensed by the same agency. Do newspapers understand they are broadcasters?

PRAGER: Most American Schools Are Damaging Your Child

PRAGER: Most American Schools Are Damaging Your Child

I have been telling parents for decades that sending a child to almost any college is playing Russian roulette with his or her values.

But it is a different version of Russian roulette. In the traditional version, only one of the gun’s six chambers contains a bullet. In the college version of Russian roulette, 5 of the 6 chambers contain a bullet. If your child attends almost any university in America (or Canada or anywhere else in the English-speaking world), the odds are that your child’s decency, intellectual acuity, faculty of reason, character and moral compass will be damaged, perhaps permanently.

China and Military Power through Artificial Intelligence

China’s military buildup threatens its neighbors and regional stability in the Far East. Beijing’s aggressive military expansion has made its navy the largest in the world, and it has been flexing its maritime muscle in the South China Sea and Indo-Pacific region. It continues to build its ballistic missile capacities as well.

Further, China’s expertise in cyber-warfare is both well-established and feared. It has allowed the PRC to hack into computers and steal intellectual property, as well as other cyber crimes.

Scammer charged with money laundering & wire fraud after bilking $450k from donors for fake Black Lives Matter charity, DOJ says

A fraudster has been indicted on federal charges for his alleged role in swindling hundreds of thousands of dollars from donors who thought they were giving to a Black Lives Matter group, instead pocketing the funds for himself.

Ohio man Sir Maejor Page, 32, was slapped with four federal counts this week, the DOJ announced in a statement on Friday, accusing him of making “fraudulent misrepresentations” to contributors to the phony BLM group, which was portrayed as a tax-exempt charity based in Atlanta, Georgia. Officials claim he ultimately took in more than $450,000.

Months After Gutting Police Budget, Portland Mayor Asks For $2 Million To Stop Surging Murder Rate

Democratic Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler submitted a request to the Portland City Council on Thursday for a one-time $2 million expenditure for police, months after the council voted to cut nearly $16 million from the police bureau’s budget.

Wheeler, who previously advocated for the Portland Police Bureau’s budget to be cut, cited a dangerous surge in gun violence throughout the city as the primary reason for requesting the funds, according to the Oregonian.

Don’t post Oprah memes if you are not black: White people are told that using interviewer’s Meghan reaction clips for fun is ‘digital blackface’

White and non-black people are being told not to share any of the numerous Oprah Winfrey memes from her bombshell interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – because they are a form of ‘digital blackface’.

The Slow Factory Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to social and environmental justice, this week issues a warning about digital blackface, describing it as an online phenomenon where white and non-black people share GIFs and photos of black people to express emotion, and stating that it often perpetuates negative stereotypes that they are ‘aggressive, loud, and sassy.’

Sri Lanka has taken a significant step towards banning the burka and other face coverings in public, on grounds of national security.

Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekara told the BBC that he had signed a cabinet order which now needs parliamentary approval.

Officials say they expect the ban to be implemented very soon.

The move comes nearly two years after a wave of co-ordinated attacks on hotels and churches on Easter Sunday.

Former PM Stephen Harper says Canada caught in new Cold War between U.S. and China

Former prime minister Stephen Harper says the world order has returned to a kind of Cold War between two superpowers, this time between the United States and China.

And while middle-power countries like Canada are part of the rivalry, Harper told a defence conference on Friday they lack the economic and security clout to do much on their own to shape the outcome.

Remember when we had an adult as PM?
