Canada reached another milestone in its fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic Friday as the country officially clocked over 900,000 cases of COVID-19.
Another 3,476 new cases of COVID-19 were reported by health authorities across Canada, pushing the country’s total caseload to 903,238, of which 850,053 have since recovered.

New York City mayor Bill de Blasio and the ADL highlighted the activities of white supremacist groups in upstate New York, despite all of the assaults being in the New York City metropolitan area, overwhelmingly perpetrated by black men. This culminated with black men killing Jews in Jersey City and Monsey, New York. Attempts were then made to rationalize them away rather than focusing on the anti-Semitic beliefs of black-nationalist groups, including the Nation of Islam.
The same dynamics seems to be unfolding with the current spike in anti-Asian hate crimes.
On Friday morning, all three broadcast networks ignored left-wing Antifa rioters committing violence yet again in Portland, Oregon. After federal officials took down barriers surrounding the Mark O. Hatfield federal courthouse, put up last July due to nightly attacks on the building, Antifa responded violently on Thursday as they broke windows and set multiple fires to the building while assaulting law enforcement.
