Why the prince and princess of woke had to leave the royal family

Harry and Meghan’s narcissism doesn’t sit well with the ideal of public service.

So Harry and Meghan are out. The Prince and Princess of Woke are formally splitting from the monarchy. The Soft Megxit of 2020 – when the painfully PC pair flounced off to North America with the intention of becoming ‘financially independent’ – has become a Hard Megxit. The queen has decreed that Harry and Meghan’s antics are incompatible with ‘the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service’ and therefore they have to hand back all their royal patronages. This is about as close to saying ‘bugger off’ as the famously restrained queen will ever get.

MPs pass motion declaring genocide against Uighurs in China, despite cabinet abstentions

MPs pass motion declaring genocide against Uighurs in China, despite cabinet abstentions

OTTAWA — Federal MPs voted to formally label China’s treatment of the Uighur Muslims a genocide Monday, without the support of the Liberal cabinet.

All opposition MPs who participated in the vote as well as most Liberal MPs, including Parliamentary Secretary to the Foreign Affairs Minister Rob Oliphant, voted in favour of the Conservative motion introduced last Thursday. Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau abstained on the record while the rest of his cabinet colleagues were absent.

“I abstain on behalf of the Government of Canada,” said Garneau in the House of Commons.

What were the Capitol rioters thinking?

What were the Capitol rioters thinking?

It’s one of the most basic questions of the Capitol riot investigation: What was the rioters’ plan? What did they think was going to happen when they stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, as Congress certified the results of the Electoral College?

There are undoubtedly many answers to the question. Some rioters were physically violent. Others walked into the Capitol after its doors had been forced open. Others stayed outside. And still, others who attended then-President Donald Trump’s rally on the Ellipse never went to the Capitol at all. So there were different actions and different motives involved.

Christian Science Monitor: If You Don’t Like Public Schools Proselytizing for Islam, You’re a Racist

The Christian Science Monitor did its bit Friday for the left’s propaganda barrage, reminding us all that America is a benighted, sinister land full of racism, xenophobia, and Islamophobia, such that only Old Joe and his henchmen can save us. The Monitor painted a picture of an innocent World Cultures and Geography class in a New Jersey public school teaching about Islam and getting accused by racist redneck yahoos of proselytizing for Islam. As far as the Monitor is concerned, it’s a story of evil Trump followers hating the sainted Other; in reality, however, it reveals how Islamic indoctrination is becoming increasingly common and accepted in public schools.

Oxford University students are told it’s not enough to be non-racist and they need to be actively anti-racist

Oxford undergraduates are being told that simply not being racist ‘isn’t good enough’ and they must be prepared to take action on the issue.

The revelation from a workshop at St Hugh’s College comes amid growing scrutiny about anti-racism training across the university, which critics say does not work.

… One member of the college who attended the workshop said: ‘I have been let down on several fronts since I’ve been here.

‘Worst of all is the consistent emphasis of how “racist” our institution is… it is a colossal waste of time and money and does nothing but prove that Oxford is increasingly out of touch with the real world. I have seen no inkling of racism since I have been here.’

Alireza Nader: Secret recording shows Iran’s leaders are responsible for downed aircraft. Will Trudeau act now?

A recently revealed audio tape of a “senior” Iranian official demonstrates the Islamic Republic of Iran’s continuing attempt to hide its responsibility for the downing of Ukrainian Airline flight PS752 shortly after take-off from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport on Jan. 8, 2020. The speaker in the recording appears to be Iranian Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif, a man who often attempts to portray himself as the “moderate” face of the regime abroad.

Trudeau will do whatever his string pullers tell him to do.

By Offering Amnesty Now, Democrats Are Setting Up A Massive Immigration Crisis

Perhaps Democrats could have picked a worse time to unveil their expansive immigration bill that would grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, but not much worse.

The legislation, introduced Thursday by congressional Democrats with the full support of the Biden administration, dubbed the “U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021,” comes as President Biden is rolling back border security measures implemented under Trump and the number of illegal border crossings is surging.

Chinese Spyware Code Was Copied From America’s NSA: Researchers

WASHINGTON—Chinese spies used code first developed by the U.S. National Security Agency to support their hacking operations, Israeli researchers said on Monday, another indication of how malicious software developed by governments can boomerang against their creators.

Tel Aviv-based Check Point Software Technologies issued a report noting that some features in a piece of China-linked malware it dubs “Jian” were so similar they could only have been stolen from some of the National Security Agency break-in tools leaked to the internet in 2017.

‘Antisemitic trope’: NBC under fire over ‘SNL’ sketch on Israeli vaccine rollout

NBC officials are facing calls to apologize over a “Saturday Night Live” sketch that accused Israel of vaccinating only its Jewish citizens against the novel coronavirus, a claim that critics lambasted as untrue and anti-Semitic.

Comedian Michael Che said during the show’s “Weekend Update” segment that “Israel is reporting that they’ve vaccinated half of their population. And I’m going to guess it’s the Jewish half.”

I am afraid that France has fallen

My fear for France is grounded in its lack of courage to fight for its civilization and the right of its people to speak their minds.

I am worried about France, because it is the cradle of European culture.

I love its writers and ideas, Henry James in his 1903 masterpiece “The Ambassadors” speaks of Paris as the epitome of civilization, it is the country that has given so much and to which we owe so much as Europeans, the country that gives us the only intellectuals in Europe to reflect on our world.

But it is the country that no longer knows how to defend that culture.
