2 Canada Post ̷w̷o̷r̷k̷e̷r̷s̷ useful idiots in Regina suspended after refusing to deliver Epoch Times

Two Canada Post workers in Regina were temporarily suspended earlier this month after they refused to deliver the latest sample edition of the Epoch Times.

The head of the local CUPW union that represents postal workers said both mail carriers were escorted from the building when they informed their supervisors they were unwilling to deliver the publication. They were suspended without pay for three days.

According to its sample issue, the Epoch Times was created to “bring honest and uncensored news to people oppressed by deception and tyranny in communist China.”

Good. I smell China.

Biden and Kerry gaslight about green jobs

The Biden administration seems to recognize it’s got a problem with its green energy schemes, as it takes a wrecking ball to the nation’s economic edifice in the name of green and strikes at it with all the people still in it.

Exhibit A: Biden’s day-one cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline, at an immediate cost of 1,200 jobs, a projected loss of 2021’s 11,000 jobs, an additional loss of 42,000 knock-on jobs, and one angry Canada.

Does Lockdown work, or not?

Does Lockdown work, or not?

This blog was published on RT-com, after much discussion and a few changes. It can be seen here  It took a few days. The editors were concerned about the fact-checkers having a go at it and demanding retraction.

We went back and forward. I assured them that all my quoted facts were correct, so the fact-checkers could only attack the ‘opinion’ stated. Which they may well do. If so, fact checkers are no longer checking facts, they are decreeing which scientific opinions are correct, and which are wrong.

Top Iranian Politician Claims Sorcerers, Genies Influence Some State Decisions

Genies, sorcerers, and exorcists are back in the Iranian political debate a decade after then-President Mahmud Ahmadinejad’s associates were accused of practicing witchcraft and summoning supernatural creatures, claims that he denied.

The debate about the alleged influence of sorcerers and clairvoyants on state officials was renewed this week when a member of the powerful Expediency Council — a body that advises Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — said some Iranian politicians have consulted with people who claim to be able to summon genies.

Lockdown has ravaged the working class

Lockdown has ravaged the working class

In both lives and livelihoods, the poorest have borne the brunt of our disastrous response to the pandemic.

Coronavirus might discriminate by age but lockdown discriminates by class. From the moment this disastrous policy was instigated, it became immediately apparent that we were not all in it together. In every single aspect of life, the working class has suffered most during lockdown. Worse still, over the course of the past year, class inequalities have grown wider and have become more entrenched. And yet, at each turn, left-wing lockdown lovers have demanded ever-more severe restrictions on people’s lives.

Sarah Silverman, Dozy Bint

The dreamy, mixed up, unfunny comedian who rambles about Israel and BDS.

Sarah Silverman is a stand-up comic who makes much, in her routines, of being Jewish. It’s part of, it’s a major part of, it’s far too much a part of, her shtick; what isn’t about being Jewish is about sex. I find her treatment of both topics distinctly unfunny. She is critical of Israel in an offhand, careless sort of way; she repeats what she’s heard elsewhere, without looking into the matter herself. Lots of people she knows “support BDS” (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) so, in her ditzy way, she does, too. She does not understand the real intent of that sinister movement.

Spoiled Rotten: Students at the United Nations International School denounce their teachers as “racists” and “oppressors.”

Last year, students at New York’s elite United Nations International School launched an anonymous social media campaign denouncing the school’s teachers and administrators for their “vast history of systemic racism,” “white liberal racist thinking,” and “direct, intentional, repeated racial trauma.” The students threatened to “cancel” their “oppressors” through social media shaming. Administrators immediately caved to their demands.

CSIS warns Canadian universities about Alibaba’s online platform

Canada’s spy agency warned Canadian universities in August to be wary of using Chinese technology, including a service offered by e-commerce company Alibaba to help students based in China take online Zoom classes in this country.

Alibaba, which has come under close scrutiny from China’s ruling Communist Party after its billionaire founder, Jack Ma, ran afoul of President Xi Jinping, provides an accelerated virtual private network server so students in China can attend Zoom classes without lag. Alibaba’s “Alibaba Global Accelerator” service is marketed as a solution to avoid network congestion and reduce delays in communication.

Highly-contagious UK COVID-19 variant will become dominant in Ontario by March

Highly-contagious UK COVID-19 variant will become dominant in Ontario by March

A highly-contagious coronavirus mutation first found in Britain will become the dominant strain in Ontario sometime in March, provincial modellers predict, narrowing the room for error as the province enters a period of sustained case decline.

Ontario Science Table Co-Chair Dr. Adalsteinn Brown told reporters it is now only a matter of time before the B.1.1.7 coronavirus variant becomes the dominant strain.

“Perhaps most worryingly the new variants of concern of the mutate SARS-COVID-2 virus are clearly spreading in the community and will likely be the dominant version of the virus in March,” he said on Thursday afternoon.

Canada falls to 20th in the world for vaccine doses administered

Canada has fallen behind other developed nations in the number of shots administered per capita as supply disruptions derail planned vaccinations.

According to data collated by the University of Oxford-based Our World in Data, Canada now ranks 20th globally, well behind allies like the United States and the United Kingdom but also middle-income countries like Poland and Serbia.

Xi Twists Biden’s Arm at Davos The Chinese president pitches his vision of globalism to the world.

Xi Jinping’s kick-off appearance at the winter Davos week this Monday had a simple message for newly inaugurated President Joe Biden: bring America back into the fold, or suffer the consequences.

The speech, which opened and closed with World Economic Forum (WEF) Chairman Klaus Schwab heaping praise on Xi, was the Chinese president’s first appearance at Davos since he spoke there in 2017.
