Ontarians are taking a stand against the chain of church burnings that has devastated communities across the country. Grassroots movement Civic Revival announced that they are holding an event in Mississauga this Saturday, August 7, to “Stop the Burning of Churches in Canada.”
Two points colour our commentary:
— Immigrants tend to vote for the party in power when they enter Canada. Families vote in unison for the ruling party, as do entire communities– particularly when living in what are caustically described as “urban ghettos.”
— Long term immigration has the power to lock-in a ruling government indefinitely, thus serving as a calculated plan to diffuse the ideals of democracy.
More than any government in history, the ruling Liberals have an ability to leverage this in order to transition to “government-for-life.” The potential of such a situation may well move Canada into a non-democratic state of society.
Warning the province appears to be entering a fourth wave, Premier François Legault made the passport announcement Thursday alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who said he was in full support of Quebec’s decision to implement the system in order to boost vaccination rates and curb the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant.

Although Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had been touting his Liberal government’s ability to get Canada’s economy back on track after the COVID-19 pandemic, the unemployment numbers across Canada have been bouncing back at a snail’s pace.
The potentially serious heart disorders of pericarditis, inflammation of the heart’s surrounding membrane; and myocarditis, inflammation of the heart muscle, are happening after Covid-19 vaccination substantially more often than previously reported.
The resort to “mandatory” measures by many governments around the world is, on the one hand, regarded as a power grab by publics who have seen once supposedly sacrosanct “rights” disappear one after the other, but it is also a sign of growing desperation among leaders who are no longer confident they can eradicate covid and return to “normal.” They are compensating for their powerlessness over nature by intensifying their power over men. The idea, born of frustration with the partial failure of previous and much-touted efforts, is that with enough control, the march to normalcy can be resumed.
The government could well end up unintentionally uniting groups it has spent decades playing against each other to increase federal power.
Time and time again we’ve been told to “trust the science” and “trust the experts.” But what happens when these so-called experts turn out to be partisan donors and wannabe politicians?
