Questioning government policy on China is not fomenting racism, Prime Minister

Last week, Conservative MP Candice Bergen asked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau why scientists at the Winnipeg infectious-diseases laboratory had been collaborating with Chinese military scientists. Two Canadian scientists have been fired from the lab, so Ms. Bergen’s question was reasonable. Mr. Trudeau’s response was not.

“The rise in anti-Asian racism we have been seeing over the past number of months should be of concern to everyone,” Mr. Trudeau replied, from left field. “I would recommend that the members of the Conservative Party, in their zeal to make personal attacks, not start to push too far into intolerance toward Canadians of diverse origins.”

Mark Meadows says ‘more to come with Hunter Biden’

Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows teased what he may know about the Biden family’s business dealings during an interview Wednesday on Newsmax.

“I can tell you, there is more to come with Hunter Biden,” Meadows told host Grant Stinchfield.

“It’s amazing how Joe Biden and Hunter Biden actually had a quid pro quo, and to accuse President Trump of using his influence to enrich his family was just not accurate,” Meadows added. “And now, what we’re seeing is perhaps the real influence-peddling that took place was by then-Vice President Joe Biden.”

Media admits it: They’ve got ‘egg on their faces’ over their cheap dismissal of Wuhan lab-leak theory

The reporters and commentators who did this weren’t reporting news; they were advancing a political “narrative,” acting like the 27-year-old reporters who know “nothing,” as Obama-era spinmeister Ben Rhodes once contemptuously said of them. They were boobs in the service of charlatans, and yes, they do have egg all over their faces. They can wear that as a badge of honor in the service of Democrats and show it to all their crummy little friends.

For Americans To Respect The Military Again, More Than 15 Percent Of Republicans In Congress Need To Resist Its Cultural Marxism

Our institutions aren’t what they once were. Opinion polls show overwhelmingly that trust in the government, in Congress, and in business has fallen in previous years and remains low. One exception, however, is the military, which is consistently among our most respected institutions. This reputation has been hard-won, over decades of apolitical service to the nation. Americans recognize that service by honoring our servicemen and women and extending our armed forces enormous respect and deference.

Yet that legacy is now under attack. Our servicemen and women are the same selfless servants of our American republic that they have always been, but there is a growing movement among the climbers and the bureaucrats at the Department of Defense to turn the military into a tool of left-wing ideology.
