Progressives look for racism everywhere — even where it doesn’t exist.
From peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to “niceness,” it seems they’ve slapped the “racist” label on everything at some point.
Now, Kenny Allen, opinion editor of Northwestern University’s student newspaper is attacking white people for “walk[ing] awkwardly on sidewalks because of their internalized racism,” Campus Reform reported last week.
Should human rights laws protect against anti-conservative discrimination?
Human rights laws in Canada protect against discrimination based on almost every identity imaginable, except there are no robust protections for political beliefs. Queen’s University law professor Bruce Pardy says in the era of cancel culture and anti-conservative discrimination, if we’re going to insist on maintaining human rights laws, we should add protection for people who suffer harm because of their political beliefs. He joined The Andrew Lawton Show to explain.
Why Do Our Public Officials Keep Pretending They Have Any Credibility Left?
LILLEY: Let doctors speak freely even when what they say is unpopular
Do doctors need to only offer up official talking points when discussing COVID-19? That’s part of the discussion in an ongoing battle to regulate what doctors can say.
It’s outrageous that some, especially in positions of power, think doctors must never break ranks, but that’s what the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) did when it issued a statement on April 30.

‘Under Biden, The World Is Getting More Violent And More Unstable’: Trump Releases Statement On Unrest In Israel
Former President Donald Trump released a statement reaffirming his support for the state of Israel in the wake of the ongoing conflict in the region with Hamas and other Palestinian groups.
124 retired generals and admirals question Biden’s ‘mental and physical condition’
Claiming that “our Nation is in deep peril,” the letter takes aim at both the FBI and the Supreme Court,” asserting that both “must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020.” It also accuses the “Current Administration” of launching “a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration’s effective policies and regulations.”
This morning Senator Rand Paul exposed Dr. Anthony Fauci for his absolutely murderous and traitorous policy of illegally sending the Chinese government large sums of taxpayer money annually to conduct deadly experiments related to animal-to-human virus transmission during his testimony in front of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
Colonial Pipeline says it is still days away from resuming full operations after falling victim to a cyberattack as questions being to mount over why it is taking an entire week to get the nation’s biggest fuel pipeline back in action.
Gas prices have already spiked to a seven-year high and reports of gas shortages and panic buying are emerging up and down the East Coast with motorists lining up from Florida to Virginia for fuel.
Based on public statements, it’s easy to come to the conclusion that Canada is working to improve global access to COVID-19 vaccines.
This quote comes from an opinion piece in the Washington Post on July 15, 2020; the lead author, none other than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau:
“…we must urgently ensure that vaccines will be distributed according to a set of transparent, equitable and scientifically sound principles. Where you live should not determine whether you live, and global solidarity is central to saving lives and protecting the economy.”
The person being quoted here in early May of this year is Mary Ng, the International Trade Minister in Trudeau’s cabinet:
“The work we have been doing and the leadership we have been providing is very much about removing all barriers to vaccine access, whether it be production or supply chain or export restrictions…We’re trying to remove all barriers to access to vaccines.”
But despite what Trudeau and Ng said, Canada is not doing all that it can to improve access. Far from it.
Emails and photos found on Hunter Biden’s laptop show he had a close relationship with an attractive young assistant provided him by a business partner Hunter dubbed the “spy chief of China.”
The Daily Mail broke the story. 29-year-old Chinese American JiaQi Bao was brought in to work as Biden’s secretary in 2017 by Patrick Ho. Ho was the secretary general of Chinese oil giant CEFC. Ho and the Biden Family were teaming on a massive business deal potentially worth billions. In a recording found on Biden’s laptop, Biden describes Ho as the “spy chief of China.”
Indeed, US intel considered him a foreign intelligence threat and had him under surveillance. He was convicted of bribery in 2018. And the CEFC-Biden business venture fell apart.
Chief Microbiologist and Laboratory Specialist Dr. Jared Bullard is a witness for the Manitoba government in this hearing. Questioned under oath by Justice Centre lawyers on Monday May 10, Dr. Bullard acknowledged that the PCR test has significant limitations. The head of Cadham Provincial Laboratory in Winnipeg, Dr. Bullard admitted that PCR test results do not verify infectiousness, and were never intended to be used to diagnose respiratory illnesses.
People’s Party of Canada (PPC) Leader Maxime Bernier accused NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh and Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi of attempting to silence opposition to lockdowns after the two claimed anti-lockdown protests were tied to far-right extremism.
In tribal communities, neutral institutions of civil society that Westerners take for granted — such as the police, impartial courts, and the rule of law — simply do not, and cannot, exist. In such societies, everything is tribalized, and the task of building civic institutions is laden with difficulties.
Major coverage in mainstream media is about violent clashes in Israel this past week and ongoing.
The Globe and Mail (one of Canada’s main newspapers) covered the story on May 10 with the headline “Flag Waving Israeli March to Go Ahead” and the story repeated the same paragraph twice about Israeli police clashing with hundreds of Arab students.
The point being is that most mainstream coverage of the incidents as one-sided with Israel getting the raw end of the deal and with little or no context. The news stories portray a victimized Muslim/Palestinian community during the last important days of Ramadan (the holiest month of the Islamic calendar) being attacked indiscriminately by ‘wicked’ Israelis. As a result, all over the Muslim world, Muslims are in a hysterical frenzy posting on media, social media, writing, and exposing the ‘evil’.
Global Affairs prepared for possible move of Canadian embassy in Israel to Jerusalem
“I have looked through the documents received from our respective program area and although the department did in fact prepare for a possible move of the Canadian Embassy to Jerusalem, the move did not happen,” the Global Affairs official, who works in the department’s access to information division, said.
Heritage Minister Guilbeault Traffics in Misinformation and Conspiracy Theory as Cause of Bill C-10 Criticism and Need for Government Speech Regulation
Given the opposition – as well as Guilbeault’s well-documented disastrous interviews on CBC and CTV – one would have thought the Minister would be seeking to assuage public concern. Instead, Guilbeault took to Twitter last night to suggest that the public anger over Bill C-10 was a matter of “public opinion being manipulated at scale through a deliberate campaign of misinformation by commercial interests that would prefer to avoid the same regulatory oversight applied to broadcast media.”
You Have More Power Than You Think
As Guilbeault & Trudeau backtrack on Bill C-10 – after demonizing critics – we are seeing the power that individual Canadians can have when they refuse to buy into government propaganda.
If you’ve ever been fooled by an Onion headline on Twitter, you’re not alone: Computational models aren’t great at detecting sarcasm either.
That’s a problem in a world where the information ecosystem is becoming a contested space. But Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency researchers are getting closer to being able to understand the sentiment—including sarcasm—expressed in online messages, according to a recent announcement.
Nearly Half of Female Soldiers Still Failing New Army Fitness Test, While Males Pass Easily
More than seven months after the official launch of the Army Combat Fitness Test, or ACFT, nearly half of female soldiers are still falling short, with enlisted women struggling the most, Military.com has learned. The data again raises questions about whether the Army’s attempt to create a fitter force is creating more barriers to success for women.
Abolish traffic tickets?
If you can’t abolish the police, just abolish most of the work that they do. That seems to be the message coming from a report published by NBC News this week. I would suggest reading the entire thing to grasp what is actually a complex issue, but we’ll cover the basic gist of it here. The article focuses on a Black Chicago woman named Jessica Washington who lost her job in 2006 and moved to Las Vegas with her children for a fresh start. She got a job with the TSA and purchased a used BMW. Unfortunately, the car had a busted taillight and she wound up being pulled over and receiving a traffic ticket.
Queen’s University professors Margaret Walker and Robin Attas wrote a guest editorial for the Canadian Music Society, in which they argue for “decolonizing” music.
Two small clusters of deaths after COVID-19 vaccination have been reported among nursing homes in Kentucky and Arkansas.
In Kentucky, four seniors died the same day of their vaccination on Dec. 30, 2020. Three of the four who passed away reportedly already had had coronavirus prior to getting vaccinated.
In Arkansas, four seniors died at a long term care facility about a week after their vaccination. All tested positive for COVID-19 after vaccination.
It’s déjà vu all over again at the highest levels of Canada’s military: A senior leader of the Canadian Armed Forces is being investigated, causing another officer to step up in an acting capacity for who knows how long, with a domino effect on the other positions at the highest levels. Did the government learn anything from how they handled the vice-admiral Mark Norman affair? I am not so sure. After Norman was suspended from his position, the upper echelons of the armed forces were put into an untenable position. The CAF ended up having seven vice chiefs of the defence staff in about five years, in part because the government did not move forward when it was clear that Norman would be unable to serve even if he was cleared of the charges.
