Barbara Kay: ‘So many people hate you’: Documenting the U.K.’s burgeoning anti-Semitism

In his new book, Tuvia Tenenbom portrays the U.K. as a population marbled top to bottom with a fat streak of Jew hatred

On Sunday July 18, the Church of England service will include a ceremony of “symbolic repentance” to mark the 800-year anniversary of the Synod of Oxford. The 1222 Synod set forth discriminatory laws for Jews, such as identifying badges and higher taxes. The gesture is especially significant in that the Church of England was only established in 1534. The Church is therefore apologizing for all Christian medieval anti-Semitism.

It’s an interesting article on an interesting book, be sure to read the comments.

It seems the long march through the institutions by our leftist friends has achieved another victory – widespread anti-Semitism of the “acceptable kind.”

I noticed something amiss after the recent Gaza troubles. The “anti-Zionists” are now much more open and public with their views.

If you ever wondered why Islamist anti-Semitism is tolerated you have only to look at the “ordinary people” profiled in this book. They share the identical views.

April Powers Condemned Jew-Hate. Then She Lost Her Job.

The inclusion officer’s identity as a black Jew should have made her unassailable. Instead, it was used to discredit her.

On first viewing, it looked like a Tik-Tok riff on The Purge: a caravan of cars rolls down La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles. The passengers — young men in keffiyehs, some draped to mask their faces — stand and shout through sunroofs and windows. The cars honk incessantly. In the back of a slow-moving Jeep, one man waves a billboard-sized Palestinian flag while another shouts through a megaphone: “Israel kills women and children every day!” His companions jeer: “Yeah! Fuck you!”

Will American Jews Follow Their British Cousins in Repudiating Jew-Hatred?

There was an editorial last week in The Free Beacon positing that due to anti-Semitism within its ranks, the Democrat party will mimic the electoral defeat of England’s Labor Party, which is similarly plagued by anti-Semitism. The Ilhan Omar–Ocasio-Cortez–Tlaib trio, as well as many members of various Democrat congressional caucuses, are open enemies of Israel’s existence and redolent with anti-Semitic pejoratives. The Beacon’s theory is that just as Jeremy Corbyn’s Labor Party was shunned by Jews and many in the public, thereby losing the last election to the Tories, so will Democrats lose to Republicans in 2022. Nancy Pelosi in the House and Chuck Schumer in the Senate, though themselves not anti-Semitic or anti-Israel, continue to allow this anti-Semitism in their party, and Pelosi goes farther by publicly and proudly embracing the Squad and especially Omar.

Will it come to pass in North America? Not so sure about that.

Recent Petitions Singling Out Israel for Condemnation Are Anti-Semitic

“The bigots who promote these petitions, and the useful idiots who sign them, cannot possibly be motivated by a concern for universal human rights. If they were, they would focus on nations with really horrendous human rights records, such as Iran, which hangs gays, China, which imprisons Muslim dissidents, Russia, which murders dissenters, Saudi Arabia, which oppresses women, Syria, which gases its own people, as well as Palestinians, and many other nations that face no external threats.”

Jewish college students stunned to find hate coming from progressive peers

The most surprising thing about this story is that it was published by CNN. The story focuses on two Jewish college students, both of whom consider themselves progressives interested in a host of progressive causes. But both have also felt themselves excluded and even targeted for abuse when their progressive peers discover they are Jewish.

As Kathy used to say – They’re too stupid to really be Jewish.

British Jews’ fear and defiance amid record monthly anti-Semitism reports

A monthly record number of reports of anti-Semitic incidents were recorded following the 11-day conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in May, a charity says. So how does it feel to be Jewish in the UK?

Rabbi Nicky Liss had been preparing to give a midnight talk at a north London synagogue last month, when he began to feel nervous.

A rabbi of 13 years, he was used to giving speeches. This one, to mark the start of the Jewish festival of Shavuot on 16 May, should not, on the face of it, have been any different.

But that afternoon, events built to what he describes as a “crescendo”.

Nation’s Largest Teachers’ Union Will Debate Resolution Accusing Israel of ‘Ethnic Cleansing’

Democrats

The nation’s largest teachers’ union will debate two resolutions aimed at boycotting Israel and recognizing a Palestinian state at a conference this week.

The National Education Association will take up the proposals at their multi-day annual meeting, which is set to begin Wednesday. One measure calls on the United States to cut material support and funding to Israel. Another would have the union promote Palestinian causes through a variety of programs at an estimated cost of $71,500.

UK Jews Under Assault: Highest Number of Antisemitic Incidents Ever … ditto Canada

Record numbers of antisemitic incidents have been recorded in the UK since last month’s rocket attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists, figures released by the Community Security Trust (CST) reveal.

From 8 May to 7 June, 460 incidents were reported to the Jewish charity – the highest monthly total since records began in 1984 – with 316 happening offline and 144 online.

In Canada B’nai Brith claims a similar litany of diversity

SPECIAL REPORT: Last Month’s Surge of Antisemitism Far Worse Than First Thought

OTTAWA – Calls to rape Jewish women. Rocks thrown at peaceful protesters. Nazi emblems in our streets.

From coast to coast, Canada’s Jewish community came under assault on multiple fronts throughout the month of May, 2021.

Pro-Palestinian Jew-Hate in Europe – A continent lacks the courage to take a stand.

Violent anti-Semitic eruptions in Europe following the outburst of hostilities between the Gaza-based Hamas terrorists and Israel have become common and repeated occurrences. The European governments have done little to prevent the largely Muslim and some local anti-Semites from initiating violence against European Jews. It is particularly true of the German government and its leader, Angela Merkel. Chancellor Merkel invited over a million migrants into Germany, mostly Muslims from the Middle East and Africa. Their inculcated hatred for Israel and Jews has resulted in the desecration of Jewish cemeteries, Holocaust memorials, and attacks on synagogues. To assuage Jewish concerns, Merkel and the German government pay lip-service to the unacceptability of anti-Semitism in Germany due to Germany’s role in perpetrating the Holocaust in which Six Million Jews were murdered by Nazi Germany. In reality, few of the perpetrators are punished, and certainly not with long prison terms or deportation.

Fake News and Jew-Hate in Europe and the Media

Fake News and Jew-Hate in Europe and the Media

Something is Sinking, and It’s Not Just the Dead Sea

The recently-aired episode of ABC Australia’s “Foreign Correspondent” program, titled “The Sinking Sea,” presents visually stunning images that convey a sense of loss of a major geographic feature of the Middle Eastern landscape. The video documentary by Eric Tlozek, ABC’s outgoing Middle East correspondent, focuses on the demise of the Dead Sea caused by the diminished supply of its tributary waters.

Tlozek’s tenure as ABC’s Middle East correspondent followed a long line of ABC journalists, including Sophie McNeill, who have faithfully pushed ABC’s anti-Israel agenda; in fact, McNeill will be the keynote speaker at the Australian Palestinian Advocacy Network’s annual dinner this month. Apparently, Tlozek and McNeill share more than an entry on their respective CVs.

A Philadelphia festival cut an Israeli food truck, citing ‘the concerns of community.’ The response was fierce.

(JTA) — Organizers of an event celebrating immigrant chefs in Philadelphia removed an Israeli food truck from the lineup, citing “the concerns of community that we love and serve.”

But the bid to calm controversy by Eat Up the Borders, the organizer of the event on Sunday, backfired: After announcing the removal, thousands of people replied, with varying levels of vitriol, questioning why the group associated a chef living in Philadelphia to the policies of a country nearly 6,000 miles away. A congressman representing Philadelphia released a statement saying he was “stunned and saddened” by the Israeli food truck’s removal.

Labour party leader Keir Starmer faces loss of leadership as tough stance on antisemitism & having a Jewish wife has cost him the trust of Muslim voters … yea you read that right

Muslim backlash leaves Keir Starmer facing new Red Wall humiliation that could end his Labour leadership

Too Jew For You Know Who?

Sir Keir Starmer is heading for a by-election defeat that could end his leadership amid claims his tough stance on antisemitism has cost him the trust of Muslim voters.

He faces a bitter backlash from Muslim communities in Labour-held Batley and Spen, with even his wife Victoria’s Jewish heritage apparently being cited as one reason not to vote Labour.

Starmer loyalists last night hit back at what they said were ‘repellent and repugnant’ attempts to draw Mrs Starmer into the West Yorkshire by-election battle, where polls have put the Tories on course to snatch the Red Wall seat.

Did you expect to witness this sort of thing being reported in a mainstream newspaper in this day and age?

It’s a dream come true for our mass-immigration multicultists.

Green infighting exposes Justin Trudeau’s hypocrisy on Israel

Green infighting exposes Justin Trudeau’s hypocrisy on Israel

By welcoming a former Green MP who is so biased against Israel she could not tolerate her leader calling for peace in the Mideast or a colleague speaking out about anti-Semitism, the Liberals have exposed their hypocrisy on these issues, and left Canadians wondering whether the Trudeau government is trying to play both sides in order to win votes.

Thanks to Canada’s destructive mass immigration policy Islamists are the ascendant demographic relative to the Jewish population, roughly 1.2 million to four hundred thousand respectively.

Add to the mix a generation or two of useful idiots churned out by our ideologically depraved “anti-Zionist” universities and the writing is on the wall.

It’s not going to get better.

GOLDSTEIN: Linking Israel to apartheid now ‘acceptable’ anti-Semitism

If former Green MP Jenica Atwin had tweeted the white supremacist slogan “the Jews will not replace us,” it’s a safe bet Prime Minister Justin Trudeau would not have welcomed her into the Liberal Party of Canada.

But because hers was the more politically acceptable tactic of describing Israel as an apartheid state, she was welcomed.
