London Antisemitism Attacks at Highest Since 1980s: Report

Reports of antisemitism in London have hit a record high in May, according to a Jewish charity which said that almost all were related to the conflict between Israel and Palestinian terror group Hamas.

The Community Security Trust (CST) said there were 201 antisemitic incidents reported in London, where two-thirds of the UK’s 300,000 Jewish people are said to live, and that there had been a five-fold increase in incidents since the beginning of the Middle East conflict.

The Left’s Ilhan Omar Problem

The latest in the saga of Omar’s anti-Semitic comments.

There is a direct link between the Democrats’ identity politics and the anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism we see more of every day. Some immunity is awarded to those who belong to one of the more fashionable minorities du jour.

Some minorities are fashionable, but some — women, people of color, Muslims, LGBTQ people, and a few others — are more fashionable than others and, thus, more protected. The idea that all lives matter, not just those of minorities, is unthinkable to the wokistas.

Why Left-Wing Anti-Semitism Should Matter to Non-Jews as Much as Right-Wing Hate

Anti-Semitism is on the rise, which means worse things are to come.

My readers know that I do not whine. When I write about anti-Semitism, I am not wringing my hands or asking to change school curricula to teach tolerance nor to complain about “systemic this” or “systemic that.” That is not my cadence. I do not visit Holocaust museums or former Nazi death camps. That somehow resonates for others, not for me.

The Screamers

Some of us have been screaming for several years now about the urgency of awakening a slumbering Jewish world as to the dangers of dismissing, excusing, and normalizing anti-Zionism.

“You think it’s over? It’s not o-ver,” my Great-Aunt Lee used to warn me, in a singsong voice, her forced smile wrapped up with some sort of awful knowing. “Antisemitism isn’t over. It’s never o-ver.”

My dear Aunt Lee was clearly crazy, I’d think. Superstitiously spitting-after-compliments crazy. What antisemitism?

Hitler’s Multicultural Supporters

You don’t have to be a white supremacist to love Hitler.

“The world today needs a Hitler,” CNN correspondent Adeel Raja tweeted. Tala Halawa, the BBC’s “Palestinian” specialist, had previously tweeted a rant that included #HitlerWasRight.

Researchers have found that the #HitlerWasRight hashtag was intertwined not just with the usual white supremacists, but with more “progressive” hashtags like #FreePalestine.

Jewish groups decry mock ‘eviction notice’ sent to residents in Canadian cities

OTTAWA – Jewish advocacy groups are condemning a mock “eviction notice” dropped into mailboxes across Canada as part of a campaign to draw attention to the planned removal of Palestinians from a neighbourhood in East Jerusalem.

“We regret to inform you that your house is scheduled for demolition in the next three days. If you do not vacate the premise within this time frame, we reserve the right to destroy all remaining belongings,” the document reads.

Mayor Jello Tory sends out strong message about Jew hatred

Mayor John Tory has come out swinging against the “concerning and unacceptable” rise in anti-Semitism in Toronto in recent weeks, saying he will not allow hatred to “take root” or “grow” in the city.

In a lengthy statement, he said he met with members of the city’s Jewish community, a few councillors and the police chief Tuesday night and heard the Jewish community’s “valid concerns.”

He still works for Google.

Google Diversity Head Said Jews Have ‘Insatiable Appetite for War’

Google’s head of diversity strategy said in a 2007 blog post that Jews have an “insatiable appetite for war” and an “insensitivity to the suffering [of] others.” The comments were part of a longer meditation from Kamau Bobb, now head of diversity strategy at Google, that also slammed Israel’s military actions in Gaza and Lebanon that same year.

Bobb was at the time a research associate in technology at Georgia Tech, according to his LinkedIn. The post, titled “If I Were A Jew,” described how he believed Jewish people should view the Middle East conflict.

Amid a surge in hate crimes, prominent European Jews worry the war against antisemitism has been lost

“… Antisemitic incidents were already rising in Europe before the 11-day conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza that ended with more than 230 Palestinian and 12 Israeli fatalities. With the start of the hostilities, Europeans began bracing for antisemitic activity that tends to accompany Middle East tensions. It’s known on the continent as “the import of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

How Social Media Validates Anti-Semitism by Censoring Everything but Anti-Semitism

Social media platforms are engaged in massive censorship of matters related to alleged election fraud, doubts about medicine, vaccination, anything from former President Donald J. Trump, criticism of Black Lives Matter, doubts about transgender activities, climate change, hate speech and other supposedly politically incorrect tweets and posts. At the same time, it is open season for anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism, and the double standard toward things Jewish.
