We need to talk about the violent hatred for Donald Trump

The BBC says the latest suspected attempt on the life of Donald Trump is proof that ‘political violence’ is the ‘new norm’ in America. It’s half right. There does seem to be a ‘new normal’ over there, but it’s not some abstract thing called ‘political violence’. It’s not some broad-strokes brutish contempt for all rulers of society. It’s more targeted than that. It has one politician in particular in its crosshairs. If there’s a new normal in America, it would appear to be a new normal of an increasingly militant culture of grievance against the 45th President of the United States, now aspiring to be the 47th: Donald Trump.

‘Putin, here I am’: man accused of targeting Trump had ‘delusional ideas’ about helping Ukraine

In April 2022, a little over a month after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a stream of middle-aged European and American volunteers were passing through Poland on their way into Ukraine. There was the retired attorney delivering sweets to Ukrainian orphanages; the Irish former French Foreign Legion soldier carrying luggage for refugees, and the Englishman who had moved from France to help rescue pets. One American in his 60s was transporting dead frozen chicks from Poland to a zoo in western Ukraine. They called themselves the “silent army” and the “get-off-the-couch crew”.

Possibility Ryan Wesley Routh Had Informant ‘Scary’: Ex-FBI Leader

The man accused of trying to assassinate Donald Trump may have had inside information on his movements, a former FBI assistant director said.

Chris Swecker told Newsweek that law enforcement will have to establish how Ryan Wesley Routh appeared to know the exact details of when Trump was playing golf at a Florida resort.

Geoff Russ: Canada’s progressive experiment has failed

I like stories that make Justin cry.

Canada’s progressive experiment is disintegrating into a thousand pieces before our very eyes.

On Thursday morning, B.C. Premier David Eby announced that he would consider scrapping the provincial consumer carbon tax if Ottawa made it possible.

This comes less than a year after he declared that British Columbia would be the last stand of Canada’s carbon taxes, come hell or high water, and follows his federal counterpart, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, signalling that he will oppose the current version of the tax.

Adam Pankratz: Things are so dire for the left, even B.C.’s NDP wants to scrap the carbon tax

It must be disheartening to be David Eby and the B.C. NDP these days. Justin Trudeau is sending 22,000 asylum seekers to B.C. in the midst of a housing crisis and Jagmeet Singh has just announced he (probably) wants to axe the carbon tax. How B.C. Conservative leader John Rustad managed to get Trudeau and Singh to campaign for him is a mystery that may never be solved, but we should tip our hat to Rustad’s political deftness.

KLEIN: The left’s agenda is destroying Canadian identity, threatening democracy

Canada has long been celebrated as a land of opportunity, freedom, and hope. People from around the globe have aspired to become Canadian, drawn by our reputation as a welcoming, fair, and democratic nation.

But today, our country’s identity is under siege, not from outside invaders but from within — by an ideology that seeks to erase what it means to be Canadian. The left’s relentless attack on our values, history, and sense of belonging is tearing at the very fabric of our democracy.

A Foundation Has Been Bribing Cities to Free Criminals

Something interesting is going on in San Francisco where DA Brooke Jenkins, a black woman who ousted the former pro-crime Chesa Boudin and promised to actually enforce the law, is taking on the MacArthur Foundation.

While we often call pro-crime DAs “Soros DAs” and indeed the Nazi collaborating radical billionaire did indeed play a major role in building a pro-crime network of DAs who ignore the law, there are a variety of major foundations who destroyed public safety in America.

For a Democrat, the American heartland’s normalcy is a terrifying dystopia

The Civil War tore America apart and left 600,000 dead. Still, despite its ferocity, it had at its heart only one big issue: whether the Constitution’s promise of individual liberty overrode states’ rights to govern themselves. Otherwise, Americans were much the same: the Bible, hard work, heterosexuality, the nuclear family, anti-crime, etc. America today actually faces a more profound schism than it did then because we’ve become two entirely different people. An opinion piece in the San Francisco Chronicle really hammers the point home, as a regular columnist looks at a county fair in the Heartland and sees a dystopian world.

Jury Finds Portland Antifa Leader Guilty, Police Arrest Member For Assault

When an Oregon county near Portland held self-proclaimed “journalist” Alissa Azar accountable for planning a riot in 2021, violent members of Antifa descended on a small main street. Police arrested one member for allegedly assaulting a man.

“She just wasn’t even just your average Antifa member. She was somebody who definitely was an orchestrator, or I would call a ringleader,” Clackamas County Commissioner Ben West said to The Federalist. “They operate with creating fear, and at a certain point, you just have to stand up and be like, ‘No.’”

Pro-Hamas Rioters In D.C. Vindicate J.D. Vance’s View Of America

When pro-Hamas rioters on Wednesday ripped down and burned the American flag outside Union Station in Washington, D.C., and defaced nearby monuments with antisemitic, Islamic terrorist graffiti, they unintentionally made a case for what Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance said at the RNC last week: that America isn’t just an idea, but a place and a people with a shared history and a common future.

There Is No Shortage Of Radical Left-Wing Assassins. Here Are Five Examples

Following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, one of the most prominent news bytes among the propaganda media was the shooter’s alleged political affiliation.

Corporate media outlets didn’t hesitate to note that Thomas Crooks, the 20-year-old Pennsylvania native who shot Trump in the face, killed a rally attendee, and injured two others, was a registered Republican.

Expert Warns of Potential Riots, Chaos at Democrat Convention

Vietnam War-era protests are among the most well-known and well-documented movements in U.S. history, notoriously culminating in the violent clashes during the 1968 Democratic National Convention (DNC). As Election Day nears in the U.S., striking parallels are emerging – protests against U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts, a deteriorating financial situation, and rising tensions on all fronts. It’s hard not to wonder if history is repeating itself.

Unless Kamala denounces Israel, and that is entirely possible, Chicago will be fiery but peaceful if yesterday’s antics are an indication.

Jan. 6th Was a Drop in the Bucket Compared to All the Left’s Violence

So, how long did it last? How long, after the attempted assassination of the former president and current front-runner, did all the “turn down the temperature” and “scale back the rhetoric” we heard from the mainstream media endure? How long did the cooling period last after their grudging concession that while they can’t stand Trump, maybe they went overboard with the constant shrieking about the end of Our Democracy™ and the rise of yet another Worse-Than-Hitler president?

Leftists emulating Nazis

These are days of desperation for the Democrat party, headed for a well deserved defeat because the people have roundly rejected their socialist national agenda. Shown to be consummate and professional liars, few people believe a word they say, knowing they couldn’t tell the truth to save their lives. Like a trapped wild animal that will lash out in any direction, they are truly desperate, willing to do anything to cling to the governmental power they think is their birthright.

Far-Left Extremists clash with police at start of AfD congress in Essen

Clashes between hooded demonstrators and police marked the start of a party congress of Germany’s far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), weeks after it scored record EU election results despite multiple scandals.

About 1,000 police were deployed in the western city of Essen as about 600 delegates began a two-day meeting, with authorities expecting up to 80,000 people to join demonstrations.

“Several disruptive violent actions occurred in the Rüttenscheid quarter. Demonstrators, some of them hooded, attacked security forces. Several arrests were made,” said the police of North Rhine-Westphalia region on X.

Translation: “It is always astonishing how the useful idiots of #Bunten yell ‘against fascism’, #widersetzen violently prevent democratic assemblies and do not even begin to realize that they themselves are the fascists.”

Translation: “How white can a demonstration be? Almost no migrants take part in the counter-demonstrations.”
