France arrests seven Italians convicted of far-left terrorism

Seven Italian far-left guerrilla fighters, who hid in France for decades after escaping terrorism convictions that left “an open wound” in Italy, have been arrested.

French authorities are also searching for three other Italians convicted on terrorism charges linked to bombings and assassinations between the late 1960s and early 1980s.

The Italian government has been urging France for years to arrest and extradite the fugitives, who were identified in the Italian media as Marina Petrella, Giovanni Alimonti, Enzo Calvitti, Roberta Cappelli, Sergio Tornaghi, Giorgio Pietrostefani and Narciso Manenti.

‘They want to burn & intimidate’: Portland Mayor Wheeler calls on public to help ‘unmask’ violent ‘anarchist’ protesters

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler has extended a city-wide state of emergency declared over fears of violent protests, while calling on the public to help “unmask” an “anarchist mob” involved in attacks on police and businesses.

Wheeler said the emergency declaration would continue through the weekend during a Friday press conference, first imposed on Tuesday after ex-Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin was found guilty of the murder of George Floyd. The mayor pointed to concerns of violence from demonstrators who’ve taken to the streets on dozens of occasions since the 46-year-old was killed in police custody last May.

This asshat has aided and abetted Antifa throughout.

Judge gives Brooklyn lawyers who ‘threw a Molotov cocktail into an NYPD car during a George Floyd protest’ 90 days to accept a plea deal or face decades behind bars

Federal prosecutors told a judge Thursday they have offered a plea deal to two Brooklyn attorneys charged with firebombing an empty police vehicle last year amid demonstrations in New York City following the death of George Floyd.

U.S. District Judge Brian Cogan set a 90-day deadline for Colinford Mattis and Urooj Rahman to accept the government’s offer or proceed to trial on charges including arson conspiracy.

The attorneys face at least 45 years in federal prison if convicted as charged.
