Mostly Peaceful Mayhem

Turning a blind eye to violence in Miami Beach, the New York Times previews its post-Floyd-trial coverage.

As the trial of officer Derek Chauvin for the death of George Floyd begins, downtown Minneapolis has already boarded itself up, though the verdict is months away. Unlike the fencing that arose around Washington following the January 6 Capitol riot, the Minneapolis precautions are fully justified. Indeed, the bollards and barricades will grow denser as the verdict nears but will still prove inadequate if Chauvin is not convicted of murder. A firestorm would engulf the city and the nation that will dwarf the riotous destruction of 2020. No trial of a police officer to date has been preceded by the anti-police sentiment and admonitory violence seen over the last year. It is improbable, therefore, that the Chauvin jury will vote to acquit, whatever evidence the defense presents.

AOC slams ‘barbaric and inhumane’ border conditions and demands REPARATIONS for separated families

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tore into President Joe Biden’s administration’s handling of the southern border crisis, calling conditions ‘barbaric’ and ‘inhumane’ during a town hall Wednesday evening.

‘As we’ve seen there are arrivals and undocumented children – rather unaccompanied children that have come at the border and this had lead to completely inhuman and unacceptable, horrifying conditions of children in CBP [Customs and Border Protection] custody. And it’s unacceptable and it’s horrifying,’ the New York representative told constituents during the virtual event.

She also claimed that families who were separated during Trump’s presidency are ‘owed reparations Period.’

Stop blaming everything on ‘white supremacy’

Stop blaming everything on ‘white supremacy’

The Atlanta and Boulder shootings were swiftly pinned on racism. The reality was very different.

Recently, two terrible crimes occurred which had either almost or entirely nothing to do with racism. The mainstream mass media reaction to both was telling and troubling.

First, on 16 March 2021, 21-year-old Robert Long opened fire inside three Atlanta-area massage parlours – Young’s Asian Massage, Gold Massage Spa, and Aromatherapy Spa – with a semi-automatic nine-millimetre handgun. Long killed eight people, six of them Asian-American, and wounded another.

AOC says calling border crisis a ‘surge’ pushes white supremacy

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has finally addressed the border crisis — but only to accuse anyone using the term “surge” of pushing a “white supremacist” philosophy.

Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has repeatedly been accused of ducking the dangerously overcrowded migrant detention centers despite saying they were akin to “concentration camps” under the previous administration.

Morally Bankrupt Left Wants You To Forget About The Summer Of Antifa, BLM Riots

Anyone with two eyes knows what went down last summer in response to the death of George Floyd. The left’s gaslighting doesn’t change that.

CNN article titled “What Jim Crow looks like in 2021” by columnist Nicole Hemmer last Friday perfectly encapsulates the left’s tactical lawlessness and disorder gaslighting. “And while it may still wear a suit and tie,” Hemmer wrote, claiming Jim Crow is alive and well, “it also still marches hand in hand with both state violence and mob violence, as we were once again reminded during the insurrection at the Capitol.”

The Commonalities Between the Rise of the Nazis and the Tactics of the American Left Cannot be Ignored

The Commonalities Between the Rise of the Nazis and the Tactics of the American Left Cannot be Ignored

I recently wrote a column wherein I accused the American Left and its wholly owned subsidiary, the Democrat party, of using Fascist or Nazi tactics in their determination to permanently transform the nation into a one-party hybrid socialist state by exploiting nonexistent “systemic racism” and baseless fears of “white supremacy.”  This characterization did not set well with the gullible and self-righteous Democrat voters I know or those who contacted me.  They, rather vociferously, claimed that the utilization of Nazi tactics only applies to the American right and that they, the left, are only motivated by caring for the people.

LSU Event Explores the ‘Religion of White Rage,’ Says ‘Conservatism’ May Be a ‘Euphemism for White Supremacy’

Education’s in a state of transition.

Whereas before — it seems to me — the core purpose of tax-funded instruction was to teach very basic, objective facts in the form of reading, general history, writing, science, and math, these days, potent perspective and subjective theory are ultimately on offer.

A component of the government’s new service: a righting of wrongs by way of racial justice.

And at the university level, they’re really trying to fix our flaws.

Why the Left celebrate violence

They use protest to demonstrate the righteousness of their cause

If you were making the case for the right to protest, it couldn’t have had a worse ending: a police van on fire, two women filmed squatting to piss at the feet of riot cops, a man arrested for allegedly carrying a homemade spear, and 40 injuries suffered by officers. What had started in Bristol as a peaceful rally against the crime and policing bill ended as a riot outside Bridewell Police Station, then spilled into days of disorder.

Welcome to the United States of Polygamy

Welcome to the United States of Polygamy

Interviews like “The Police Chief, His Wife, and His 6 Girlfriends” are signs of the divorce between society and traditional marriage.

Cambridge, Massachusetts, recognized domestic partnerships of two “or more” persons earlier this month. Lest any scold regard the policy as lacking in morals, the ordinance specifically excludes those “in a domestic partnership with others outside this partnership.” A bigamy exists even to bigamists.

In 2010, Oklahomans voted for a measure barring judges from relying on sharia law when deciding cases. It seemed overkill at the time, almost like a parody of orange-alert-era yahoos. But here a decade later American women cover their faces with religious fervor and American men, at least some of them, embrace polygamy with a similar enthusiasm.

The War on Sex – Today’s ravenous gender radicals are poised to eat their own.

In his 1973 book The Inevitability of Patriarchy, the sociologist Steven Goldberg described sex as “the single most decisive determinant of personal identity.” Today, one wonders if such a book could even be published. Even if it were, it would certainly face a massive assault by the scholarly establishment, the “news” media, and much of the rest of elite culture, including that of many self-styled conservatives.

Ilhan Omar ripped for tweet about Boulder shooting suspect’s race

Rep. Ilhan Omar is taking heat for tweeting about how “narratives” change based on a suspect’s “race or ethnicity” in the wake of the Colorado massacre.

“The shooter’s race or ethnicity seems front and center when they aren’t white,” Omar (D-Minn.) wrote Tuesday. “Otherwise, it’s just a mentally ill young man having a bad day.

Boulder Shooter is A Product of the Left

The man who murdered ten people in a Boulder, Colorado supermarket Monday has been identified as a Muslim migrant ISIS sympathizer named Ahmad Al Issa (which is how he himself wrote his name on his Facebook and Twitter accounts, not “Alissa” as the establishment media has been spelling it). This identification immediately destroyed the narrative that leftist “journalists” ran with all of Monday evening and Tuesday morning, that the shooter was one of those “right-wing extremists” – you know, those people who are, according to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the “most lethal and persistent” threat the U.S. faces today. Ironically, while Al Issa is clearly not the “white supremacist” of leftist fantasy, he is just as plainly a product of the leftist subculture that is so prevalent in America today.

Heartland Republicans Unite to Defend Meat Against Liberal Attack

The red meat wars have hit America.

Republican governors representing heartland states are uniting in support of the cattle industry in response to calls from Jared Polis, the Democratic governor of Colorado, to move his state away from eating meat. The herd of Republican governors of Nebraska, Iowa, Wyoming, and Montana has taken issue with Polis’s call for Saturday, March 20, to be observed as “MeatOut Day,” during which residents are asked to replace meat with a plant-based alternative.

Leaving Portland

Leaving Portland

Portland, Oregon, has been the most politically violent city in the United States since Donald Trump was elected in 2016. Just a few days after the result, a peaceful protest against the incoming president turned into a riot when anarchists broke off from the main group and rampaged through the Pearl District, a renovated SoHo-like neighborhood adjacent to downtown packed with art galleries, loft apartments, bookstores, and restaurants. Vandals used baseball bats and rocks to break cars, plate glass windows, bus shelters, electrical boxes, and anything else that looked smashable.
