New York Times Struggles To Explain Why It Reported News To Traumatized Readers

This week, the New York Times experienced an uprising in its ranks and among its readers. The paper was denounced by its own staff and liberal pundits called for the entire editorial staff to be canned.

Why?

Because The New York Times actually reported news that was deemed harmful to the Democrats, specifically Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani. The newspaper took the additional step of publishing a cringing explanation of why it reported the news that Mamdani lied on his Columbia application in claiming to be black. For liberals, it was an utter nightmare. For a party still defined by identity politics, Mamdani’s false claim over his race left many uncertain about how to react. The left has always maintained a high degree of tolerance for false claims by its own leaders, from Sen. Elizabeth Warren claiming to be a native American to Sen. Richard Blumenthal claiming to have served in the Vietnam War.

‘Liberals are engaging in bad faith politics’: Feminist Conservatives fight back

Stella Mizak, an 18-year-old business student, says she was shocked by what she heard while door-knocking with Conservative party candidates in April’s federal election. She heard it over and over from homeowners, she said: “I can’t believe you’re supporting a party that wants to take your rights away.”

It’s perplexing, she sighs: A woman being told she’s not a feminist because she’s seen to be “voting away my rights” by voting Conservative.

Bernie Sanders: The Socialist Who Scammed America

Talks like he’s broke, lives like he’s Bezos.

It’s been a busy few weeks for Bernie Sanders, traveling around America on his Fighting Oligarchy tour. The message is clear: billionaires are bad, the economy is rigged, and the people must be empowered. Crowds roar, fists raised in solidarity. The same speeches. The same outrage. The same thunderous applause. The same garbage.

While Sanders decries wealth inequality and corporate greed, he zigzags across the country in the ultimate symbol of elite privilege: a private jet. Not once. Not in an emergency. Just this past quarter, his campaign spent more than $220,000 on private air travel, an expense completely at odds with the populist, working-class image he’s spent decades cultivating.

The Left Knew They Were Lying to Us All Along

For years, the left has advanced utter untruths for cheap partisan purposes that it knew at the time were all false. And now when caught, they just shrug and say they were lying all along.

Once it was known that the first COVID-19 case originated in or near a Chinese communist virology lab engineering gain-in-function deadly viruses—with help from Western agencies—the left went into full persecution mode.

They damned as incompetent, racist, and conspiratorial any who dared follow logic and evidence to point out that the Chinese government and its military were both culpable for the virus and lying.

So Another Male Feminist Turns Out to Be a Social Media Perv

Give some credit to young Democrat hustle Harry Sisson, reluctant as you may be, for turning some small amount of social media savvy into a lucrative career as a progressive influencer — not to mention all those sweet young ladies that the 23-year-old professional Democrat has reportedly tried to con into sending him their most intimate photos of themselves.

Greenpeace must pay pipeline company nearly $667 million over Standing Rock protests, jury says

(Reuters) – Greenpeace must pay a Texas-based pipeline company nearly $667 million in damages for the environmental advocacy group’s role in 2016-2017 protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota, a jury said Wednesday.

The verdict in North Dakota state court came after two days of deliberations in a trial where pipeline company Energy Transfer accused Greenpeace of paying protesters to disrupt construction of the pipeline unlawfully and spreading falsehoods about the controversial project, located near the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

Ex-MSNBC host Joy Reid went on antisemitic ‘rant’ about COVID, former staffer claims

Joy Reid Lunatic Racist

Former MSNBC host Joy Reid went “on a vile antisemitic rant,” in which she blamed Orthodox Jews for the spread of COVID-19 in New York City, a former production assistant at the network claims.

In the summer of 2020, the lefty former “TheReidOut” host allegedly ripped Orthodox Jews, saying they “only care about themselves” and are “in their own bubble,” and accused the group of reckless behavior during the opandemic, according to the PA.

The ex-PA, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said she is speaking out now that Reid’s been axed because “people should know what her character is.”

Allan Gregg: Ontario’s election was another disastrous showing for progressive parties. Time for a rethink

Within political circles it is now pretty much taken as a given that you cannot win an Ontario (or for that matter, federal) election without capturing a significant portion of the population’s blue-collar workers and new Canadians, living in the suburbs. Historically, both constituencies were reliably in the camp of either the Liberal or New Democratic Party. No more, as last night’s results in the Ontario election bear out.

Pro Hamas Left, you can only bow in shame to Elon Musk

Not even 24 hours had passed since the start of Donald Trump’s second term and the reductio ad hitlerum had already begun. This time it is not Trump who is being branded as Hitler 2.0, but Elon Musk.

It was not easy to transform the billionaire aligned with Israel, who wears the pin in support of Jewish hostages taken by Palestinian Arab terrorists, who goes to Auschwitz, who declared himself “Jew by association” and who went to see the kibbutzim devastated by Hamas with the Israeli prime minister, into a Nazi.

WashPost Lib Blames Megyn Kelly for Threats After Being Ripped for UGLY Hegseth Smear

Washington Post economics columnist Catherine Rampell lashed out Thursday afternoon at SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly and blamed her for threats and ugly words being hurled her way after Kelly shelled her for smearing Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth as merely a “TV host” and thus tossing aside his 20 years of boots-on-the-ground military service.

Tesla Owner Is Sent a Uniquely Portland ‘Message’

When they’re not busy burning, looting, and committing “peaceful but fiery” acts of violence, there’s another side to Portland, Oregon—it’s the gentler, more passive-aggressive side. While most people scramble between jobs to gather enough pop bottles to turn in to pay the “arts tax,” the political class and Antifa, but I repeat myself, spend their evening hours bathed in the light of their monitors plotting revenge on their wrong-thinking enemies.

Enemies like their Tesla-owning neighbors.

The left is exposing its moral inconsistencies

I get the strong sense that Donald Trump’s political rebirth has prompted panic within the overlapping “woke” and far left movements. Dubious? Just look at the cacophony of “wokesplosions” over the past three weeks:

We had the Ottawa high school principal who chose a “Palestinian resistance” song to commemorate Remembrance Day, only to be outflanked by the Halifax elementary administrator who asked Veterans to avoid wearing their uniforms to ensure that “students at the school who come from conflict zones” would be “comfortable.”

San Francisco’s progressive racism

Xenophobic activists are battling gentrification

The ugly xenophobia that has cropped up in certain corners of the GOP has an unusual cousin in an unexpected place.

The progressive Mission District in San Francisco has become ground zero for a form of Lefty nativism that scorns newcomers and most forms of economic growth. In a city renowned for its inclusive diversity and technological innovation, it is here that a bitter racialised activism has taken root.

Progressive magazine editor is mocked for making VERY petty criticism of hardworking flight attendant

A progressive journalist has been mocked online after making a public post criticizing a flight attendant who wished her and other passengers a ‘blessed night’.

Mother Jones Editor-in-Chief, Clara Jeffery, posted to X that she found the Alaska Air flight attendant’s language akin to ‘creeping Christian nationalism’ after landing in San Francisco.

Jeffrey wrote that replacement words such as ‘great’ or ‘fantastic’ would have worked just as well, adding that someone sat in her row said:’ This ain’t Montgomery, sweetie.’ That was an apparent reference to the Alabama city frequently associated with anti-black racism.
