‘No Male Prisoners in Female Jails’ Will Be Policy if He Becomes PM, Poilievre Says

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is speaking out against Canadian legislation permitting male offenders who identify as female to be incarcerated in women’s prisons, after a man convicted of murdering his family asked to serve his life sentence in a women’s prison.

Mohamad Al Ballouz, who now identifies as a woman and goes by the first name Levana, was handed a sentence of life imprisonment with no chance of parole for 25 years at his Dec. 20 sentencing hearing in Quebec for the 2022 murders of his wife and two young sons.

Nowhere is safe from the tyranny of Pride

There is a tiny rural township in Ontario, Canada, just over the border from the US state of Minnesota, that glories in the name of Emo. Emo has a population of just 1,300, and until fairly recently was known (though not by many) for its picturesque waterfront park, its annual Rainy River Agricultural Fair and its catch-and-release fishing tournament, the Emo Walleye Classic. It looks idyllic, with simple straggles of wooden houses and vivid verdure bordering the enormous Clearwater Lake.

Does the US Supreme Court know what a woman is?

A case on ‘gender-affirming care’ has the potential to unravel decades of legal protections for women and girls.

On Wednesday this week, the US Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the case of United States v Skrmetti – a case during which the court will confront the question of whether women and girls exist as a sex class.

This is ostensibly a case about whether a US state (Tennessee) may constitutionally prohibit the provision of puberty blockers and opposite-sex hormones for under-18s. For that reason alone, it’s hugely important.

Ontario Catholic School Student Suspended For Gender Views Loses in Court, Board Wants Him to Pay Legal Costs

An Ontario teen who was suspended from his Catholic high school over his views on gender has had his request for a court review of the school’s decision dismissed.

Josh Alexander was in Grade 11 at St. Joseph’s Catholic High School in Renfrew, Ont., when he was suspended in 2022 for saying there are only two genders during a discussion in math class, as well as for organizing a student walkout protesting biological boys being allowed to use the girls’ washroom. He was also accused of bullying.

The grotesque hollowing out of womanhood

Wall of Transgender Heroines

First they came for women’s bathrooms. Then their rape shelters. Then their sports. Now they’re coming for their prizes. The BBC has announced the winner of its Women’s Footballer of the Year Award and you won’t believe who it is. Actually you will. It’s someone who once failed to meet gender-eligibility rules for the women’s game. It’s someone who was excluded from a major tournament after failing ‘gender-verification tests’. It’s someone with such elevated levels of testosterone that they were told to take hormone suppressants if they wanted to kick a ball again. Yes, the BBC’s female footballer of 2024 is someone whose femaleness has been called into question by some experts. They’re taking the piss now, aren’t they?

The sexist rage against Nancy Mace

A prominent woman in American public life was openly threatened with death last week. A man posted a sick video on Instagram in which he fantasised about grabbing her by her ‘ratty looking fucking hair’ and repeatedly bashing her face into the floor until ‘the blood’s everywhere and you’re dead’. How did the right-on respond to this vile act of misogynist rage? Did they offer the woman in question their solidarity, damn the man who menaced her, promise to stand firm against the scourge of violence against women? Nope. They went after the woman herself. They called her a bully, a ‘cunt’‘hormonal’, a pox on the republic and ‘one of the worst people in the country’. I guess #MeToo’s over then?

UN Shock: Risks of Trans ‘Women’ in Female Sport Highlighted in New Report

Has Hell frozen over? Uncommonly for the UN (think Antonio Guterres with the global warming hyperbole), one of its recent reports is full of common sense. In the last three years, I have been critical of UN performance regarding some high-profile issues, including World Health Organisation failings in responding to the coronavirus pandemic and a power grab for future pandemic management; lawfare against Israel by the world court and International Criminal Court; and UN Women’s betrayal of the raison d’être for its creation and existence with a shamefully delayed acknowledgment of the weaponisation of mass rape, sexual violence, mutilation and public humiliation of Israeli women on October 7th 2023.

School ‘told students that protesting against trans athletes was akin to wearing Nazi swastikas’

A California school told students who wore t-shirts protesting trans athletes that they were akin to wearing Nazi swastika, a lawsuit claims.

Riverside Unified School District is being sued by two female Martin Luther King High cross-country runners and their parents over allegations their freedom of expression was infringed.

The girls, identified as ninth grader Kaitlyn and 11th grader Taylor, say they were rebuked over their shirts which bore the slogans, ‘protect girls’ sports’ and ‘It’s Common Sense XX ≠ XY’.

‘Men that want to use women’s restrooms are threatening to kill me’, says Republican

A Republican congresswoman claimed men are threatening to kill her after she called for a transgender colleague to be banned from using female bathrooms in the US Capitol.

Nancy Mace on Monday introduced a resolution to amend the rules of the US House of Representatives to prevent Sarah McBride, the first transgender congresswoman, from accessing women-only spaces.

Ms Mace has now alleged that people are “threatening to kill” her over the proposed legislation.
