Rare Outbreak Of Common Sense In Ottawa! Canada’s top judges cast doubt over claims it’s unsafe to return refugees to the U.S.

OTTAWA—Supreme Court of Canada judges expressed deep skepticism of claims the U.S. is not a safe country where Canada should stop sending border-crossing refugee claimants.

During a top court hearing Thursday marked by several sharp exchanges, Justices Malcolm Rowe and Russell Brown challenged lawyers who want them to strike down a Canada-U.S. deal that recognizes the U.S. as a “safe country” and returns thousands of asylum seekers to the American system.

It’s long been a politically controversial agreement.

Canada: Supreme Court to hear if US is ‘safe’ for illegal alien invader benefit shoppers

Canada’s Supreme Court will for the first time hear a Canada-US asylum pact case that will weigh whether the country can consider its southern neighbour “safe” for those seeking refugee status.

The outcome of Thursday’s hearing could determine whether Canada can trust that the US treats migrants properly, and could answer whether Canada holds any responsibility for migrants turned back at its border.

At the heart of the matter is the Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA) – a pact between the two countries that has been in place since 2004 and that requires refugee claimants to request protection in the first “safe” country they reach.

Sweden: Deadly Gun Violence Reaches All-Time High in 2022

“It is no longer a secret today that much of the problem of gang and network crime with the shootings and explosions have been linked to migration to Sweden in recent decades,” Gothenburg police chief Erik Nord

Following its 48th deadly shooting which took place days ago, Sweden, once considered the most peaceful society in Europe, has registered more deadly incidents involving firearms in the first nine months of 2022 than were recorded during the whole of 2020, a year which previously held the record for the most people shot dead.

The U.S. Bishops’ Celebration of Illegal Immigration

What is holy about encouraging people to break just laws?

For decades, the U.S. Catholic bishops have operated like open-borders activists, hectoring Republican politicians for not supporting illegal immigration. Before the sexual abuse scandal erupted in the Church, the bishops were insufferable on this subject. After the scandal, some of them toned down their moralizing in recognition that they had lost any credibility as experts on “justice.” But now they’re back to the cocky clericalism of the 1980s, squandering their authority on a prudential political matter clearly beyond it. They routinely portray support for illegal immigration as “Catholic teaching.” But it isn’t. The Church has never officially taught that it is “unjust” for a country’s leaders to enforce immigration laws.

Far right demonstrators demand British government overturns its immigration policy as Met police make arrest and keep them apart from ‘anti-fascist’ counter-demo

The Metropolitan Police have arrested one man and are seeking to keep apart rival demonstrations of far-right protesters and anti-fascists in Westminster.

Pro-Putin and Tommy Robinson-aligned group ‘Patriots for Britain’ held an anti-immigration march at Parliament Square from midday.

Anti-fascists (known as ‘Antifa’), meanwhile, gathered at nearby Marsham Street to protest at the Home Office just yards away.

“Pro-Putin and Tommy Robinson-aligned???”

Zemmour: Macron “Accepts the Great Replacement, Loves it, and Wants to Organize it”

Following disappointing showings at presidential and legislative elections last spring, Éric Zemmour, the leader of the French national Right party Reconquête, has licked his wounds and is mounting a political comeback, making a slew of media appearances this month along with several speeches delivered at university campuses.

In his most recent television appearance, which aired Thursday on the CNews political talk show L’Heure des Pros, the leader of Reconquête heavily criticized President Macron, who earlier this month—after presenting new legislation on immigration—announced his intention to reroute streams of newly-arrived foreigners to the French countryside.

Most Americans Believe Migrants Should Be Sent To Sanctuary Cities

The majority of Americans believe illegal immigrants should be sent to sanctuary cities, a new poll from Scott Rasmussen and RMG Research Inc found.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent 50 migrants last week to Martha’s Vineyard, which advertises itself as a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants, last week, sparking widespread backlash. The new poll suggests that ordinary Americans are actually supportive of the decision despite the media’s negative response.

Sweden Votes Right: ‘All I Want Is for My Kid Not to Get Kidnapped and Peed on’

Two Bombings in One Night? That’s Normal Now in Sweden.

My country just voted in a right-wing government. The almost 500 bombings since 2018 may have something to do with it.

Yesterday morning, Swedes woke up to news of a kind that has become all-too familiar: During the night, powerful bombs exploded at apartment buildings in two different towns in southern Sweden.

… Among shooting suspects, 85 percent are first- or second-generation immigrants, according to the newspaper Dagens Nyheter, as immigrant neighborhoods have become hotbeds for gang crime. National Police Commissioner Anders Thornberg has described the violence as “an entirely different kind of brutality than we’ve seen before” and his deputy, Mats Löfving, says that 40 criminal clans now operate throughout the country. Spreading fear are “humiliation robberies,” targeting children and youth, in which victims are subjected to degrading treatment by assailants, such as being urinated upon. Just this week, four men were sentenced for robbing, beating and urinating on an 18-year-old, who was also filmed by his tormentors.

A European country is dissolving in mass immigration

In the country that welcomed everyone indiscriminately, from Pakistan as from Syria, from Nigeria as from Somalia, no one feels safe.

“It is getting worse and worse in terms of violent crime, it worries people,” Torsten Elofsson, the former Malmö police chief candidate with the center-right Christian Democrats, says to Financial Times. Once there were only Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. Now you see it in small towns. It’s getting closer and closer to where most people live. Swedes who want their families to be safe are running out of places to hide and move, unless they decide to leave Sweden behind, like some are already doing. They have had enough of living in a once ideal country that recorded 342 shootings in a year – almost one a day.

Magdalena Andersson’s centre-left bloc lost narrowly to a bloc of right-wing parties, 176 seats to 173, with 99% of the votes counted.

Moderate Party leader Ulf Kristersson is now expected to form a government.

His right-wing grouping includes the Sweden Democrats, a far-right party that has campaigned against rising gang shootings.

It is a huge blow to Andersson’s Social Democrats, which gained votes compared to the last election, and remain Sweden’s largest party.

‘It’s not secure Kamala, it’s WIDE OPEN!’ Illegal immigrants laugh at VP Harris’ claim that the border is secure

Migrants bussed closed to Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in Washington DC have scoffed at the idea that the border is closed after she delcared that it was ‘secure’.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent two buses of 101 migrants from Eagle Pass, to the Naval Observatory after crossing the border in an escalation of the ongoing immigration crisis.

One of the migrants told reporters that the border is ‘open’ and ‘everybody belives that the border is open’ in a blow to Harris’ comments and President Biden’s immigration policy.

Giorgia Meloni criticised for sharing video of ‘attempted rape by asylum seeker’

The video clip shows an asylum seeker allegedly raping a woman on the streets of Piacenza

Italy’s probable next prime minister has been accused of trying to score political points after sharing a video on social media of an African asylum seeker allegedly raping a white woman early on Sunday morning.

Giorgia Meloni, a far-right nativist politician from Rome who is tipped to become Italy’s first female premier next month, had made “horrendous propaganda” out of the alleged assault, her opponents said.

The migrant, from Guinea, allegedly attacked the 55-year-old Ukrainian woman as she walked along a street in the northern city of Piacenza at around 6am on Sunday.
