Two Executives of Toronto Group Listed as an ‘Overseas Chinese Police Station’ Met With Police in China: Reports

Two executives of a Toronto Chinese business association whose address is on a list of overseas Chinese “police service stations” attended events last year in China with local police and other government officials to discuss providing policing services to overseas Chinese, according to reports and photos posted by multiple local state-run media outlets and on various WeChat channels in China.

Sabrina Maddeaux: Trudeau Liberals have given judges license to go easy on rapists

Canada is now a country where someone can rape a woman and serve out his sentence in relative comfort at home. This week, a Quebec court judge gave a 20-month suspended sentence, the first 14 months of which will be served under house arrest, to a man who nonconsensually sodomized his former girlfriend, anally raping her despite her protests.

Anti-Ukrainian vandalism, harassment rising at Canadian universities, students say

Ukrainian students are facing an increase in anti-Ukrainian hate symbols and harassment on Canadian university campuses, student clubs say.

In an open letter published last Thursday, the Carleton Ukrainian Students’ Club described several incidents of anti-Ukrainian harassment that have taken place on the university’s campus since September 2022, including multiple reports of hate graffiti, an allegation of verbal harassment and an on-campus panel discussion which the club views as pro-Russian.

… In its own open letter, the University of Victoria Ukrainian Students’ Society alleged that some of its members were verbally accosted on campus and one member’s property was defaced with the word “Nazi.”

The club also said that members of the Young Communist League of Canada, another ratified club at the university, accused Ukrainian students of supporting fascism and antisemitism in a Facebook post.

What a surprise that the Young Communist league is involved in much of this. Where does that put the NDP?

FATAH: Trudeau’s choice of Hijabi to combat Islamophobia is puzzling

… Just this Tuesday, an Islamic suicide bomber blew himself up inside a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan killing over 100 and injuring scores more.

Did Elghawaby have anything to say on these atrocities being committed in the name of Islam? She expressed her discomfort at the protests against the Iranian Islamic regime when she tweeted: “People who are angry with the government in Iran are taking it out on Canadian citizens that are Muslims here.”

Are you taking it out? Clearly, the sight of thousands of exiled Iranians who now call Canada their home upset Elghawaby. What else could we have expected from Trudeau’s new czarina who, instead of criticizing the Ayatollahs of Iran, chose to target fellow Muslims who seek democracy, liberty, freedom of conscience and speech?

She is an Islamist Liar.

Pentagon tracking suspected Chinese spy balloon over the US – entered via Canada

The US is tracking a suspected Chinese high-altitude surveillance balloon over the continental United States, defense officials said on Thursday, a discovery that risks adding further strain to tense US-China relations.

Pentagon spokesman Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder said the US government has been tracking the balloon for several days as it made its way over the northern United States, adding it was “traveling at an altitude well above commercial air traffic and does not present a military or physical threat to people on the ground.”

Speaking on background, a senior US defense official said senior military officials had advised President Joe Biden not to shoot it down due to fear the debris could pose a safety threat to people on the ground.

Justin probably sold it an LPC membership.

Freeland flummoxed after Biden’s tax credits up-end Green-Scam

Freeland to call for joint federal-provincial effort to counter Biden’s tax credits

When finance ministers meet in Toronto today, they’ll hear both an update on the country’s economic outlook and a pitch from Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland on the need for a shared response to the competitive challenges posed by the United States.

“This is not a space where the federal government can act alone,” a senior government official told CBC News. “There are no guarantees of success and as a country we are going to need to up our game.”

The challenge comes primarily from the measures in the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act, which cleared the U.S. Congress last year. It includes uncapped tax credits designed to unleash investment to accelerate the transition to a cleaner economy south of the border.

Canadians are fecked thanks to the axis of weasels that comprise our ruling class.

The LPC Green-scam is running out of road.

What you can and can’t say in Coutts, one year after the convoy

Maybe it’s the sudden snap of cold weather, but the town of Coutts seems too quiet.

Last week, a convoy of trucks and cars commemorated the one-year anniversary of the protests that shut down Ottawa and two Canada-U. S. border crossings, including the one here, for weeks. But it passed without incident, and now everything is frigid, windy and nearly silent. The Smuggler’s Saloon – the village pub that became an impromptu headquarters during last year’s convoy standoff – is closed and dark. No one is walking on the streets. The fading 50s-era playgrounds are empty. The only reliable sound is the rumble of trucks and the squeak of brakes as commercial traffic passes through the border with metronomic regularity.

‘Real-world dangers’: Security memos reveal ‘intensified’ threats facing Canadian MPs

In March 2022, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly was one of several Canadian officials named in an online threat posted to the far-right social network Gab.

The threat called for the named politicians to be executed for treason, claiming that the Canadian government had been “hijacked” by the World Economic Forum.

Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino and his family have also been targeted by several online threats, linked to the federal government’s push to strengthen gun control. In one incident, an Instagram user replied to a post by the minister and threatened to shoot him.

Justin Trudeau should fire point-person on Islamophobia — and get rid of her job, too, BQ leader says

OTTAWA—Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet has rejected an apology from Ottawa’s point-person on tackling Islamophobia, slamming Amira Elghawaby and demanding her ouster for what he deemed her “ignorance … of the desire for secularism in Quebec.”

Blanchet told reporters on Thursday that he had wanted to speak to Elghawaby before deciding whether her comments warranted her departure from the role of special representative on combating Islamophobia.

The Trudeau Hijabi’s job is to preach to the converted

The noxious effects of identity politics have been on full display in Canada since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Jan. 26 nomination of Amira Elghawaby as his government’s Special Representative on Combatting Islamophobia.

In Quebec, the reaction to Ms. Elghawaby’s appointment has gone far beyond the boilerplate outrage that usually awaits external critics of the province’s efforts to preserve its language, identity and values. This time, the indignation is real and proportional to the offence Mr. Trudeau committed in promoting someone who has perpetuated stereotypes about Quebeckers as hostile toward “others.”

NDP MP fails bid for official condemnation of Tucker Carlson’s ‘invade Canada’ rant

An NDP MP has failed in his bid to convince the House of Commons to drop what they’re doing in order to condemn the “invade Canada” bombasts of a Fox News host.

I’m good with that.
