The Mystery Of Anti-Semitic Rot On Canadian University Campuses Solved!

David Hofstedter: Antisemitic rot, on university campuses and in society, is worse than we thought

Recent examples of antisemitism in North America have exposed a horrifying and deep-seated prejudice that is far more dangerous (if that’s possible) than we already knew. You might think that post-secondary students and faculty members would be among the more enlightened people in the world when it comes to social and political issues. Think again. Neo-Nazism is on the rise on university campuses, including the University of Toronto.

… This level of antisemitism has been building up for years, manifesting itself in beatings and the desecration of synagogues. All of this is in the face of an increased effort to combat racism. Remember that the Nazi German culture was revered prior to the Second World War, despite the philosophy of white supremacy and hatred toward Jews and other minorities.

This is an an astounding piece of willful blindness and or outright deceit.  In fact it seems born of ideologically driven extremism.

According to the author  Anti-Semitism on college campuses is the fault of Neo-Nazis. Muslims & Islam aren’t mentioned at all. Nor is the Israeli-Islam conflict.

Neo-Nazis are the Big Man on Campus when it comes to anti-Semitism. Who knew?

Bernie Farber, well known Nazi Hunter in his own mind, lends his support. Why anyone would seek out Bernie’s thoughts are a mystery given his credibility is at virtual zero due to his association with the Antifa supporting far-left extremist group CAHN. But they don’t mention CAHN for some reason only Bernie’s previous role as head of the defunct CJC.

2nd Canadian to die fighting in Ukraine repatriated by family, not Ottawa

A single trumpet plays the opening notes of The Last Post through the spacious funeral home, freezing the handful of people waiting. That includes the soldier clutching the urn.

The sombre song is a key part of military ceremonies, but there’s nothing traditional about this moment.

In June, Joseph Hildebrand, a 33-year-old Canadian veteran, left his Saskatchewan home to help Ukraine fight the Russian invasion.

Foreign fugitives have high chances of dodging deportation from Canada each year, as records show that of thousands of foreigners ordered to leave the country over the past six years, just 48 percent were actually deported.

An Inquiry of Ministry, presented to the House of Commons by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), said of the 13,287 foreigners ordered out of the country since 2016, a total of 6,322 were deported, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

Trudeau’s CBC Lauds Trudeau’s Climate Lunatic

Canadian climate minister’s 1st full year in office was one of cred and compromise

It’s not every day the prime minister asks a rebel to join his cabinet, but for Justin Trudeau, it’s been a well-received gamble.

As his first full year in office wraps, activist-turned-politician Steven Guilbeault is in the midst of hosting the world for the UN’s COP15 conference in Montreal, as Canada’s minister of environment and climate change. It’s the most significant biodiversity conference in over a decade.

COP15 comes on the heels of last month’s heavily attended COP27 — the UN conference for climate negotiations hosted by Egypt.

Moscow accuses Ottawa of leading effort to undermine soldiers, summons ambassador – Cites destruction of CAF as proof of expertise

OTTAWA — Russia’s ambassador to Canada says Ottawa is at the vanguard of a social media effort he argues is meant to demoralize Russian soldiers.

Douglas Todd: Feds need to be tougher on foreign agents intimidating Canadians from Iran, China

Many of the thousands of demonstrators who lined Lions Gate Bridge last month to oppose Iran’s brutal regime expressed anxiety in the presence of photographers and videographers.

Some Iranian Canadians in Vancouver’s Human Life Chain, who were joining worldwide protests against the death of teenager Mahsa Amini after she was detained by Iran’s morality police, pointed fingers at strangers recording their public defiance.

Canada’s Climate Policies Lead to Energy Insecurity: Think Tank

Canada’s current climate policies, outlined in a number of federal plans that have been introduced over the past several years, could cause future energy insecurity while increasing oil and gas prices, says a new paper.

“Oil and gas are vital to our mutual security and our energy advantages should not be frittered away,” reads the paper “The Fallacies Undermining Energy Security” published by the Fraser Institute on Nov. 24.

“The wrong climate policy at the wrong time gave Russian President Vladimir Putin an undeserved financial bonus,” says the paper, which was penned by former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney’s chief of staff Derek Burney, who also served for some time as Canada’s ambassador to the United States.

Chinese interference: What government documents tell us about election meddling

Any strong words Trudeau may mouth about China are to be taken with a very large grain of salt.

Government documents released earlier this week confirm that the Privy Council Office, the nerve centre of the federal bureaucracy which supports Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, had signs of Beijing’s alleged attempts to interfere with the 2019 general election.

Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair acknowledged having seen the 2020 memo while he was public safety minister to reporters on Friday, adding that its determinations “certainly” played a role in shaping increased government focus on electoral interference.

Canada’s approach to foreign policy is now ‘speak loudly and have friends with big sticks’

Traditionally, Canada has presented itself to the world as well-meaning and sensible. Its foreign policy rarely challenges the status quo, but it is generally viewed as sound.

When Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland defined Canada as a champion of the rules-based, international economy, a good many Canadians quietly nodded their heads in agreement.

The word “quietly” is important here. By and large, Canada avoided pointless one-upmanship and concentrated instead on results.

Canada is not a serious country.

Rates of charitable giving reach record low in Canada as need increases

Even as demand spikes for food banks and other charitable supports, a new report finds that Canadians are now donating less to charity than at any other time on record.

Why?

Economic hard times? A less religious society? An expectation that it’s government’s responsibility?

Or is it due to Canada’s transformation into a low trust, balkanized society thanks to the elite’s destructive immigration policy?
