Burger King® and Impossible Foods Announce the Canadian Launch of the Impossible™ Whopper®

Burger King is the first quick-service restaurant in Canada to put the award-winning, plant-based Impossible Foods patty on its menu nationwide.

“The Whopper is an icon, and we know how much our guests love its unique, flame-grilled taste. But, we also know those guests – and really, all Canadians – are always looking for more choice, and are increasingly interested in options without beef,” says Matt Wright, General Manager, Burger King Canada. “That’s why we’re thrilled to have worked with the team at Impossible Foods to create a burger that is truly just as juicy and delicious as the classic Whopper.”

After Years Of Calling Canada Racist, Trudeau Is Upset Someone Called The Quebec Government Racist

Justin Trudeau seems to love nothing more than getting some tears to well up in his eyes and solemnly apologizing for Canada’s past.

He has no problem calling Canada’s history racist and prejudiced, and even accused Canada of being complicit in an ongoing genocide – which would of course include the time he’s been in power as well.

Alberta’s Petrostate Propaganda Has Turned Conspiratorial

All the powers of North America and Europe have entered into an unholy alliance: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and U.S. President Joe Biden, eco-socialists and industrial heavyweights. They have conspired to enact a “fundamental paradigm shift,” or a Great Transformation, “to a new energy economy that will halt fossil fuel use and development,” all with the secret goal of establishing “a new global low-carbon, net-zero civilization.”

One year on, poll suggests Canadians still deeply wary about allowing U.S. visitors

A new poll suggests Canadians remain deeply wary about the prospect of allowing visitors from the United States.

The online Leger poll was conducted last week for the Association for Canadian Studies to mark one full year of restricted travel at the Canada-U.S. border.

It found 70 per cent of 2,200 Canadian respondents were either very or somewhat worried about allowing cross-border travel.

John Robson: What was Erin O’Toole thinking, you may ask

A friend recently asked what Erin O’Toole was thinking bringing forward a Conservative convention resolution that “climate change is real” instead of saying “man-made climate change” or specifying policy options. Montreal thugs attack activist who opposes puberty blockers for kids

Can children consent to using puberty blockers? Really think about that question for a moment.

Can a child, whose portion of their brain responsible for good judgement won’t be fully developed until their mid-twenties, actually be expected to anticipate the physical and psychological consequences associated with believing that something is inherently wrong with their body and appearance, requiring medical intervention?

Toronto, Montreal see thousands protest against COVID restrictions

Canada’s largest city saw what appeared to be its largest protest against municipal and provincial lockdown restrictions yet. On a day where temperatures were above the seasonal average, a crowd that seemed to be in the thousands gathered on the lawns of Ontario’s legislature, Queen’s Park, just as they had nearly a year earlier.

Protesters started to fill the area shortly before noon, with police taking a mostly hands-off approach to the crowd, unlike previous weeks.

MALCOLM: For many Canadians, the cure is worse than the disease

It has been over a year now since COVID-19 began to wreak havoc on our society.

Remember, we were originally told to stay home for 14 days to “flatten the curve.”

The curve described the number of critical care patients in our hospital system, which we were told was at risk of being overrun because of COVID-19. Our under-funded government-managed system simply couldn’t handle the predicted worst case scenario influx, and so, we all stayed inside for the “greater good.”

Well, those two weeks have turned into 52 weeks and counting and, in that time, we’ve witnessed a remarkable transformation of our society.
