Diane Francis: Was the botched vaccine roll-out a result of Trudeau placing too much faith in China?

The Canadian government’s failures on the vaccine file may end up being the biggest Liberal scandal yet, according to information that’s come my way.

As I wrote earlier this week, any delay in getting as many people vaccinated as quickly as possible will cost lives. So far, just over one per cent of the country has received at least one dose of the vaccine, which puts us behind many other developed countries.

Canadian Taxpayers Federation debt clock needs replacing after running out of digits

A video posted by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) shows the federal debt counter reach and pass the $1 trillion mark. Due to the fact that the counter was only built to display 12 digits, the CTF is currently in the process of replacing the clock so that it can continue to display the full amount of debt, which continues to rise.

Trudeau Is An Ugly Liar

Prove me wrong:

Trudeau was asked why Canadians could travel out of the country to tropical all-inclusive vacations, while children are being fined for playing hockey on an outdoor rink.

“There are rules in different part of the country that apply differently, and different jurisdictions will set up the rules they think are best based on the best advice from public health officials,” said Trudeau.

“We have strongly discouraged non-essential international travel, including by imposing mandatory quarantine to anyone returning to Canada, and now mandatory testing before they get on a plane to come back to Canada,” said the prime minister. …

On Wednesday, Bloc Quebecois leader Yves Francois Blanchet questioned newly-appointed Transport Minister Omar Alghabra’s ties with what he called “the political Islamic movement.”

Blanchet said that “questions arise” due to Alghabra’s role as the former head of the Canadian Arab Federation.

“I was absolutely floored,” said Trudeau. “Carefully coded questions, particularly this week when we just lived through last week, what happens when leaders don’t take care of the words they do, and play these dangerous words around intolerance and hate.”

“That kind of political pandering to the worst elements and to fears and anxieties has no place in Canada,” said Trudeau.

In order for the F@g to be a traitor, he would have had some allegiance to Canada in the first place. As usual, he is divisive and petty like a teen-aged high-school queen.

Ontario Doctors Being Asked To Prepare For ICU Triage Scenario

Earlier this week, the co-chair of the province’s COVID-19 health science table said if things don’t change, doctors will be forced to make some tough choices.

Now, it looks like they’re already preparing for that.

Michael Garron Hospital’s Dr. Michael Warner told CBC News that doctors are being asked to prepare to have to make choices between who gets care, and who doesn’t.

Canada will experience ‘temporary’ delays with Pfizer shipments: Anand

Canada will be experiencing a “temporary” delay in Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine shipments due to the pharmaceutical giant’s expansion plans at its European manufacturing facility, Procurement Minister Anita Anand announced Friday.

While she did not specify how severe of a setback this will be to Canada’s short-term COVID-19 vaccination schedule, she said all nations who are receiving vaccines from this Pfizer facility will be receiving fewer doses.
