Rex Murphy: More reasons some Canadians distrust the powers-that-be

I ended my last column on COVID contradictions from our political and medical authorities with a reference to last summer’s Black Lives Matter protests, one of which was ornamented by an appearance (mask on, knee bent) by our own prime minister. These protests were declared medically welcome, if not necessary, in a time of COVID. That opinion was trumpeted in a major media statement by 1,200 “medical authorities.”  This was during the same period when eight or nine people clustered at a park picnic table to munch on chicken wings was understood as likely to spark the advent of Black Death 2.0.

Democrats’ Socialist Spending Spree Sneaks in a $700,000 Fine for Biden’s Vaccine Mandate

Currently, Democrats in Washington are pushing a $3.5 trillion socialist spending spree through the halls of Congress with a completely partisan reconciliation process. Despite razor-thin majorities in both chambers of Congress and no clear mandate from the American people, Democrats intend to ram through every left-wing priority possible into their disastrous tax and spend package.

Their “human infrastructure” package includes everything from free college tuition to the Green New Deal. To make matters worse, the bill gives lavish tax breaks to the political allies of the Democratic Party while saddling future American generations with unfathomable amounts of debt.

As if there weren’t already enough in the Democrats’ reconciliation package for the American people to be up in arms about, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats snuck in a last-minute addition that would increase fines for Joe Biden’s invasive vaccine mandate by 1,000 percent.

Thousands of Australian Workers Are Set to Strike in a United Protest Against “No Jab, No Job” Mandates

A united cross-section of Australian industries is set to strike on October 1 over State-sanctioned, and unconstitutional medical conscription.

While the Australian federal government maintains COVID-19 vaccines are NOT mandatory, in an apparent “workaround” section 51 of the Australian constitution, the Morrison government has enabled the states to make COVID-19 vaccinations compulsory.

The RCMP’s union says it supports the “right” of RCMP officers to refuse to get vaccinated and will back up any member who refuses vaccination once the mandatory vaccination policy for the federal public service is in place.

“The [National Police Federation] supports a member’s right to choose to be vaccinated or not,” says a Sept. 23 email to members, obtained by CBC News.

“We will assist and represent members individually with their choice and its possible employment consequences.”

Viral style! How ‘jab jewelry’ is being sold by Amazon and worn by vaccine advocates like NY Gov Kathy Hochul to tell the world to get jabbed

Vaccination bling is sweeping the Internet in a trend that even NY Governor Kathy Hochul is taking part in after she was seen wearing a gold nameplate that read ‘vaxed’ at multiple events last week.

Amazon has already begun selling iterations of the pro-vaccine jewelry for other vaccinated people to get the governor’s look at an affordable price, such as a $39 sterling silver necklace that spells out the word ‘vaccinated’ in cursive similar to the one the governor donned.
