Who will call out Covid’s prophets of doom?

The experts who said Freedom Day would be a disaster were catastrophically wrong.

Pointing out the errors made by lockdown sceptics has become the favoured sport of the chattering classes. It sometimes has the whiff of a bloodsport. Every time Sunetra Gupta or Karol Sikora pops up on Radio 4 or makes a comment in a national newspaper, an army of Little Stalins goes wild. ‘These people got things wrong about the virus!’, they cry. ‘Stop platforming them!’ These experts will never escape the mistakes and misjudgements they made about Covid-19. There will always be a shrill finger-pointer there to remind them. And to accuse them of killing people with their ‘disinformation’.

The Gay Festival Behind the CDC’s New Mask Guidelines

The CDC’s justification involves an orgy of hairy homosexuals

ABC News published a story on Thursday headlined: CDC mask decision followed stunning findings from Cape Cod beach outbreak.” The article by Anne Flaherty and Arielle Mitropoulos explained how more than 800 people — 74 percent of whom had already been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 — tested positive for the coronavirus in the aftermath of Fourth of July celebrations in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

Is New York City’s vaccine passport scheme racist?

Almost half of whites in NYC are fully vaccinated, compared to a third of blacks and just under 45 percent of Hispanics

The latest French export is a requirement that people show proof of vaccination to visit indoor bars, concert venues, restaurants and gyms.

On Tuesday, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that New York City will be the first American metropolis to import the French health pass. Marketed like an upscale perk, the ‘Key to NYC Pass’ program will begin on August 16 and become mandatory on September 13.

Corbella: It’s time we stopped ‘freaking out’ and learn to live with COVID, just like Hinshaw says

Corbella: It’s time we stopped ‘freaking out’ and learn to live with COVID, just like Hinshaw says

During vacation, I ordinarily avoid Twitter like it’s COVID-19. Who wants to wade unnecessarily into a cesspool of viral toxicity? But as I sat at the off-leash park at Spanish Banks Beach in Vancouver watching our new (utterly adorable) pup frolic in the waves, I saw a Twitter alert: #FireHinshaw was trending, eclipsing the Olympics and other news events.

The public sector fared very well during lockdown

Governments at all three levels hired over 52,000 new bureaucratic administrators during the pandemic, according to the CTF.

Really!? Governments in Canada didn’t already have enough managers managing managers before?

I guess it’s no shock that StatsCan found more than 520,000 private-sector workers lost their jobs during the pandemic.

52000 thousand more votes in favour of stealing the bread from our mouths.

Ontario reports 139 new Covid Cases … and … Big Travel Trouble Ahead Thanks To Justin’s Mixy Matchy Vaccines

Ontario reports 139 new Covid Cases … and … Big Travel Trouble Ahead Thanks To Justin’s Mixy Matchy Vaccines

Decision to mix COVID-19 vaccines could cause international travel difficulties for millions of Canadians

Canada’s move to mix COVID-19 vaccines as part of a strategy to quickly immunize as much of the population as possible could present travel challenges to millions of people who received different doses.

While research has shown that mixing a viral vector vaccine, such as AstraZeneca, followed by an mRNA vaccine, such as Pfizer, produces a significant immune response, some countries, including many in the European Union, don’t recognize certain vaccines and vaccine combinations.

That means that those with mixed doses may not be considered fully vaccinated and could require additional COVID-19 safety measures such as testing and quarantining. Cruise lines can also deny boarding to passengers.

Riding high on vaccines, Trudeau aims to restore ruling majority

Early in the pandemic, Justin Trudeau looked like a man under siege. Atop a minority government, hiding behind a scruffy COVID beard, Canada’s prime minister called the military into infected retirement homes as hospitals filled and drug producers threw up their hands over vaccines.

So it’s all the more remarkable these days to see the newly-shaven, freshly-coiffed 49-year-old Trudeau criss-crossing his country with beaming aides, promoting childcare and green energy, ending travel bans and basking in the unexpected fact that a bigger percentage of Canadians are vaccinated than Americans.

NYC’s Socialist Mayor De Blasio Makes Good on Promise the ‘Voluntary Phase is Over,’ Issues COVID Passport Mandate

New York City mayor Bill de Blasio has proven the old adage that “if you scratch a socialist, you’ll find a communist.”

On Monday, the unpopular mayor issued a new decree based on a public health emergency that has effectively passed. New York City private businesses are now required to violate the health privacy of customers by demanding they show COVID vaccine documentation to enter their establishments.

Vaccinations: No more carrot—bring out the stick

There is an inevitable moment, familiar to all parents and babysitters, when you realize that reasoning with a toddler will only get you so far. Soothing tones and patience may work for a while, but eventually the child once again picks up their bowl, looks you straight in the eye, and slowly pours their cereal onto the floor.

Canada has arrived at this moment, and the toddlers in question are the approximately 20 per cent of Canadians who have yet to get even one dose of a vaccine.

A scientific journal article authored by Professor Peter Hotez, a frequent guest on mainstream media networks, called to “extend federal hate-crime protections” for scientists facing criticism from alleged “far-right extremists,” including National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci.
